  • A Murrieta woman who was captured on video suffering hundreds of bee attacks is speaking out after she was hospitalized.
It’s been nearly a week since Linda Briggs, 74, was attacked by a vicious swarm of bees outside of her home on June 28.
“People said it was really lucky,” Briggs recalled. “That some people have died from this and that I had a lot of toxin in me. If I were to get stung again, that could be fatal.” She was standing in front of her home when suddenly, the bee swarm came around the corner and surrounded her.
KTLA's Shelby Nelson reports on July 4, 2023.

God bless you Linda! I can only imagine how hard it can be for a single woman with no children. I hope people who are local can step up to help you fix up your home and get up to date on your maintenance. I know how expensive it can be these days, if I was local I would volunteer my time to help you, but I am not. I will donate what I can afford to help you.

under health and safety they will close a place down but for the same issue of health and safety of the public they wont help an old lady out and keeping that area a threat of being attack by bee's

Up to the home owner that's ridiculous something has to be done and make the city remove the bees, the bees were outside when she was stung they weren't in her house although they came from her house and how did they get in her house from the outside, therefore they're in the neighborhood and need to be removed outside and inside by officials

$58-$120 per session for bee sting therapy. 3-8 stings per session. Reported to cure many ailments and relieve symptoms of arthritis.
She does look a lot better and younger after her bee sting "session". Shoot! After 700, she's gonna live to 115!

Why throw an old lady out of her home in these times? Once the bees are gone they don't comeback. It's not her fault she couldn't afford an exterminator. Instead of taking her from her home just imagine how many infestations of bigs and rodents around the nation as well as how many homeless ....let Linda bee

@@SedriqMiers Also using it to crush them on her face, they release a pheromone when they are assaulted or sting that calls in others to defend so she was soaked in alarm pheromone, flapping a pheromone soaked yellow towel, and moving slowly out in the open. She should have gone straight in the house and only had to deal with the few dozen that follow her instead of 100,000. Dogs will take care of themselves.

Once they showed her face and you hear her speak, it really humanizes her. This is very interesting because it goes to show you how much a hoody can dehumanize you and make it easier for people to attack or shoot you (thinking of the young boy who was wearing a hoodie in Florida and gunned down)
