Is the york railway museum still free to visit.try drakes fish & chips,butchers porkpies with mushy peas & mint sauce.tescos &morrisons have a meal deal for £3.59 with their loyalty card.drink,sandwich chrisps type of thing.

If you go to york in the summer you should go on the york boat , also go to the jorvick vicking centre in coppergate . York is brilliant i love it ,we live half an hour away so go quite often x x love your videos x

Belated happy birthday to your Mum. Loved also seeing Robert really enjoy the Roman baths. You need to visit Bath fur a weekend Robert would love it there if he likes Roman things. You should look at The Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds. Leeds is also a good place for a day out.

After London, York is England's second capital city. As you'll have seen, it is steeped in history like London is....
I notice the family spend time in Hull - and wonder if they are based there or live there. If so the city of Lincoln is about 40 miles away, by road, and is more or less as ancient a city as York. Plus it has a more impressive cathedral. Someone mentions Thirsk in Yorkshire being worth a visit and I agree. Knaresborough, also in Yorkshire, is an attractive town.
`Foodwise,` The Mission in Hull`s Old Town does a great Sunday carvery for £10:00 pp. `Best to be there by mid-day because, alas, though the food is good it tends to not be as hot as when it first comes out of the oven.
We're based here for a few months! Thank you for all the recommendations of places around! I'm so excited to see as much as we can!

Two criteria for a restaurant: Cheap and Cheaper! The third: steak and kidney pie and chips! Nothing fancy there!
Did you not visit the national railway museum at York at Leeds in West Yorkshire the Royal Armouries a great day out.

The train museum in york is free and well worth a visit although I have zero interest in trains!!

If there is a word that infuriates me it is mom and I've often wondered why. I suppose we all have quirks.
I love York, never been to the Roman bath. To be quiet honest, it looks a bit rubbish, like the storeroom of a tatty theatre.
An excellent wander through York BUT have to say your "mom" not exactly a happy bunny especially on her birthday.
She was so cold 🥶 not used to the weather!
