These lessons are based from the Minna No Nihongo Textbook, first edition.
I am not a certified Japanese language teacher. I only took the JLPT N3 exam so I’m not yet 100% fluent in Japanese. I’m only sharing what I’ve learned from my language school and through self-study.. I chose the Minna No Nihongo textbook because I’m familiar with this material. So consider this more of a study with me kinda style. I’m also planning to take the JLPT N2 test in the future. So if you find any mistakes, feel free to let know so that we can all learn together. I opened the door.
私はドアを開けます。
The door opens.
ドアが開きます。
I close the door.
私はドアを閉めます。
The door closes.
ドアが閉まります。
The door is open.
ドアが開いています。
The window is broken.
まどがわれています。
The light is on.
電気がついています。
The train is crowded.
電車がこんでいます。
This vending machine is broken.
このぎどうはんばいきはこわれています。
That bag is torn.
あのふくろはやぶれています。
That escalator is broken.
そのエスカレーターはこしょうしています。
I ate all the cake that Mr. Inoue gave me.(emphasizes the completion of an action)
いのうえさんがくれたケーキは全部食べてしまいました。 全部＝ぜんぶ 呉れる＝くれる=to give.
Have you done your homework already?
しゅくだいはもうやってしまいましたか？
I will finish writing the report by the time I leave.
帰る時間までにレポートを書いてしまいます。
I lost my train ticket. What should I do?

Hi Rose Sensei. I have a doubt. In the last example sentence, 片付きます should come right? Because 片付けます is a transitive verb. According to your sentence, there must be a intransitive verb. Please correct me If I am wrong

Too much confused ? Is it possible to use は + 他動詞 to show noun as a topic?
Or only we use 自動詞 here?

Wait I'm confused. Is this lesson 29 or 28? At first she was reviewing lesson 28 “ながら” , then explained lesson 29 “Nが Vて います”. But the numbers in the video said Lesson 28.
