I sent a gentle reminder to German colleague re a deadline and she got upset with me and I was told I was over enthusiastic! So it’s really a EU thing

I gave my Singaporean colleague a gentle reminder, during working hours, in a polite manner, in Singapore, and she lost her temper and flared up at me. She’s often on MC or reports to work late, does her work sloppily and on top of that, she can’t accept it if a colleague gives her gentle reminders? I dunno, but this video just made me recall this incident. In the case of Sharon Au’s French colleagues, they were justified in the sense that it was after working hours and they didn’t directly let loose their temper on Sharon, but instead went through proper protocol via HR. And I like how the HR person tried to help instead of reprimanding her

Singapore Gov should follow this. How many idiots want his own KPI getting people to work after office hours. Furthermore you don’t bother and your appraisal will be at 5 or at 9. Cause many yes man (FT) are there (cause they are alone). While you have family
