    I love this “people who viewed us from the outside seeing how successful we are” but deep inside we have this loneliness for home. Cannot agree more.

    This show is amazing! Sharon is a great host and I believe we all can relate to her on many levels. Wishing her and Mathew all the best in their endeavours. Certainly refreshing to see Singaporeans living their dreams abroad. Think shows like these will inspire many like-minded others to take the leap and discover life out there. (Wish I was as brave as them haha)

    Kudos to the SG writer and production team for this programme! The struggle and loneliness is very real and often we brush it aside so that we can soldier on. Though we may be scattered across different corners of the globe, it is heartening to know that we are not alone.

    Really like this particular episode. M is a dashing and inspiring young man (To display such confidence, assertiveness, and Charm at this age) and Sharon did a great job during the entire interview. I enjoy this series very much (as in the past series as well). Sharon 结尾的真情流露,让我掉下了眼泪.

    Very respectable young man,hardworking,know his goals,Very successful.
    An air of arrogance makes him a confident person.
    But hopes at the same time,he can stay humbles,he can go further than that I forsee.
    Just don't let over successful gets into his head especially at his age.
    Way to go,young man👍

    For a developed country, Singapore suffers from a high emigration rate. 350,000 Singaporeans living abroad. That's 10% of all Singaporeans! Mathew is outstanding. You can see that Mathew is a self-reliant, confident young man. His experiences abroad must have toughened him...
    Singapore needs more creative, self-reliant, ambitious people like him who can think for themselves and don't need family elders or the govt for guidance...

    Norweigian are quite arrogant people besides the french. I have experienced that before. Norway has a quite a substantial numbers of muslim community.

    • @kageyamareijikun
      @kageyamareijikun 2 года назад +2

      I think Norwegians can have an air of arrogance because their country is very very rich and has a lot of oil. But they are not as nasty or in your face as the French or Brits whereby their racism can translate into verbal or physical violence, where they literally mock, spit at you and punch you. In contrast, Norwegians just come off as politely cold and aloof. They maintain a level of classiness even if they secretly despise you quietly. They are still more open-minded than the snobby French because Norwegians embrace English and global interaction though.

    • @Huvc35
      @Huvc35 2 года назад

      Mostly in the cities are aloof Norwegians..same in sg you can find nasty Singaporeans or other similar ppl in other places. Racism are everywhere esp in bigger cities. But come tothe countryside and you'll breathe a different air. Ppl are generally more nicer in countrysides and its up to luck too to encounter nice ppl anywhere.
