    This helped so much. I installed the same bulb on a 2004 frontier and the only problem i had was that i had to sand down some of the big twist-on socket because the stuck out too far.. Besides that it went super quick

      So glad to hear that it helped you. Thank you for your comment about sanding to clear the bulb. That will definitely help someone. Thanks for watching.

      Mine wouldn't fit either. I returned the bulbs because of other issues, but grinding them down would have worked. I think.

      Hello, I’ve that some bulbs are hard to fit. I’ve had to grind down the of the turn signal bulb because it would hit the housing before locking in place. Some bulbs require fitting to make them work. Too bad the bulbs don’t always fit as expected. Thanks for watching!!

    2019 Pro4X. Great install video, thanks. It would have worked if I hadn't had issues with socket sizes, and unrelated temporary electrical problems. If I would have ground down the inserts, I couldn't have returned them. When I wedged them in just enough to test them, only the high beams worked, and my fog lights wouldn't turn on at all. I was unhappy that the bulbs had malfunctioned, but very happy there was no permanent damage. Everything returned to normal after I put the halogens back in. Just be careful.

      Hello waterhead, Did you use the same bulbs? Interesting that you had a problem. I’ve install several of these bulbs in different vehicles and never had performance issue. I did have to modify the lock ring on the Frontier to hold the bulb but not modify the bulb. Also as I mentioned in another comment I did grind down the turn signal bulb to fit in the housing. Thanks for watching!!

    Nice straightforward install. Time to replace the ones on our xterra. These could be a good option to try.

      I’ve tried a few different brands and I have a discount code for a different company but honestly I’ve used Sealight in a few vehicles now and have been impressed with the quality of the bulb with no flickering and always a straightforward install. Wish Sealight would sponsor me… 😁🤔

      I actually did this install last year and didn’t upload it. I didn’t have a video for this week so I went through my files and found this one.

      I’ve seen that in other cars. Must be a way for the manufacture to make a few bucks when a light goes out.

      @@heathenprojects2639 I took my Silverado in for an oil change once. The service guy asked if there was anything else and mentioned a bad brake lightbulb. He quoted $100 to change the bulb. I told no thanks I’ll do it! I guess an hour labor is an hour labor no matter how you look at it.

    HI Willy! Do you have engine mods for more power on this truck?

    • @DIYWilly
      @DIYWilly  2 года назад +1

      Hello Gabistro, I have done a few mods but really the the common mods. I have videos about installing an exhaust and KnN air filter on this truck. The truck performs very for being 2.5 4 cyl. My other truck has a pedal commander and that improves throttle response. Check out my Nissan Frontier Playlist for more. Thanks for watching.

    How do you bring them down?

    • @DIYWilly
      @DIYWilly  Год назад +3

      There is an adjustment screw on the housing that will help you aim the lights
