In many ways, except personality, Spider-man is What if Batman had super powers instead of money? Spidey is an extremely smart man. He's actually tactical, and can come up with a plan to defeat almost anyone if he knows the fight is coming. Even if he doesn't, he's still pretty adaptable and thinks quickly on his feet. He also has an advantage Batman lacks: He is frequently underestimated. Sure, you'll run into the odd hero or villain who doesn't really respect Batman for his lack of powers, but in general most DC characters respect him and if anything over-estimate Batman. With Spider-man on the other hand, even those heroes that do respect him, tend to forget that the over-whelming majority of the time, he's holding back a lot. He frequently surprises people, can whip up some very impressive things on a shoe-string budget, and has enough of the right kinds of powers to actually keep up with or defeat a lot of people that should be well above his weight class when combined with his brain. He was able to beat two of the Phoenix 5 mostly by lasting long enough to outwit them. So while he doesn't have a list of contingencies to deal with everyone like Bats does, it doesn't take him that long to figure something out either. So, yeah, most of the Marvel universe can't really stop Spider-man when he is on a warpath largely because they don't know how to handle Spider-man on a warpath. After all, the people in the marvel universe keep defaulting to seeing him as a "goofy, naieve kid trying to punch above his weight class," and not "skilled superhero veteran who could be useful for cosmic stuff, but prefers to be the friendly superhero helping the guy on the street."

"LOOK- You try designing around someone who can hit as hard as the Hulk, move like Black Widow, and is doing complex math in their head on a second by second basis. Spider-Man turning on us is basically impossible to handle without using extreme measures."
That moment you remember Black Panther's powers essentially only make him slightly stronger than Captain America, thus on the lowest spectrum of Super Strength, while Spidey is strong enough to lift several tons and his agility and reflexes make him borderline untouchable.
More like a few hundred tons. He supported the entire weight of The Daily Bugle on his shoulders when the main support beam collapsed and lifted an entire subway train over his HEAD. He could kill his entire Rogue's Gallery several times over if he really wanted to.
It's his spider-sense that makes the difference. It's so broken that he's been denied access to the Avenger's weekly power game due to suspicion of cheating since he can call every bluff. No one has been able to prove it though since there's no cheating involved, just his spider-sense interpreting people bluffing as dangerous.

@@DarkEcho32 Since calling someone naive is often done when they are being overly trusting, I find it ironic that they are saying that to Spidey while he is in the middle of not trusting them for having an agenda, or in Hawkeye's case working for someone who does. and here we have yet another example of why Spider-Man is the *the best* superhero in Marvel Comics. everyone underestimates him, which is why he always manages to surprise them. now, if only Peter was allowed to be happy...
Spiderman during Secret War was shown how powerful he was. He solo'd the Xmen and made them look like chumps. Then the beat the tar out of Titania with a brutal side of trash talking. She got beat so bad that she got PTSD. Years later, she would run instead of confronting Spidey.
*In every other comic* Spider-man: look I am trying to help, you don't know what you are doing Literally the whole Marvel multiverse: Shut up wisecrack, you don't know shit so get out of our way Spider-man: *Proceeds to wipe off the floor with everyone and saving the reality itself* "Yep I am just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man".
It’s one of the reasons I loved the original Ultimate Spider-Man comics. Nearly all the heroes genuinely respected Spidey, completely different from 616. I remember when pretty much the whole super community came out to protect him from Fury. When you’re faced with the FF and the X-Men, you back off. Even if you’re Nick Fury.
They ALWAYS underestimate Spider-Man and than the guy goes on to save the world a bunch of times, defeat the worlds most powerful villains, and even outsmart and beat the avengers on occasion. Seriously, the dude is the goat amongst Hero’s.
The thing I always find funny about Spider-Man is how everyone focuses on his talking and acrobatics that people just forget the overwhelming advantage he has when it comes to speed and strength. He is so fast he: - is invisible to the(average) human eye - can stop QuickSilver in his tracks - can catch a bullet since it pretty much moves in slow motion for him, meaning he is faster than a speeding bullet - can travel 2 miles in 5 seconds He is so strong he: - can stagger the hulk with his hits - act as a support pillar for the entire Daily Bugle building - Tank punches from the likes of Juggernut and walk away - Lift a plane and throw a tank like it’s nothing - Fight a herald of Galactus and a Phoenix Force empowered Colossus(and take hits from him and keep fighting) - Lift a train(when it was written, those weighed around 129 tons) - Lift weight equal to a locomotive(in that comic where he was stuck under water, he estimated the weight was equal to a locomotive and we all know he is smart enough to make those estimations) All of these are feats from comics. The whole Spider-Man can lift 10 tons thing is a myth. He can lift much more. No matter how much Marvel comic writers try to push their agenda and replace him with others, Peter will always be superior
This was sort of explained when he has interview with John Jameson, He explained that he always do the talking and acrobatics to make sure that people are not afraid of him and trust him to do the right thing. Rather than be scared of how powerful he can really be.
@@nikolasjanto9664 yeah I remember that interview. It's why he has the bright colors and child like attitude and personality. people dont take him seriously because of his humor and his own self restraint, in the arcs were spiderman just lets loose or gets angry, most people fall in line quickly, usually by a quick wake up call by force

@21BonittoJ thats just not true, scorpion, the 2 strongest physically in his villains (besides sand man, symbiotes), is casually one-shot killed, and many times he has beat rhino casually without getting hurt. Even green Goblin someone that likely has superior strength to captain America can still be one-shot (maybe not killed but one punch knock out)
A lot of people think Spider-man is Naive, but he's more aware then any of them, heck he's managed to out-run the Avengers on his own, including Thor, Blade, Iron Man, Captain America, and even Captain Marvel(Carol D.).

I agree. Honestly his speed is the most fascinating thing about him to me. He’s not speedster-level fast when it comes to travel time or pure running speed but his reflexes are _lightning_ fast. I really wish the films emphasized that more. Like in the first Spider Verse when Miles is watching Peter fight Green Goblin, Peter is absolutely zipping around the place and Goblin genuinely can NOT even touch him.

The song is known for its catchy melody and upbeat Southern rock style, but it has also gained a reputation for its somewhat controversial lyrics and its association with certain cultural stereotypes. One reason why some people might find the song funny is that it has been parodied and referenced in a number of different contexts, from movies and TV shows to internet memes and social media posts. Some of these parodies and references play up the song's Southern roots and use it to poke fun at stereotypes of Southern culture, such as the image of the redneck or the hillbilly. Another reason why some people might find the song funny is that it contains a number of memorable and somewhat quirky lines, such as the opening phrase "Big wheels keep on turning," or the famous refrain "Sweet home Alabama, where the skies are so blue." These lines have become somewhat iconic and have been referenced and quoted in a number of different contexts over the years. Overall, the humor surrounding "Sweet Home Alabama" is likely the result of a combination of factors, including its cultural associations, its catchy and memorable lyrics, and the way it has been parodied and referenced in various media.

I love how because spiderman is always holding back against his villains he gets to actually let go in these interactions a little bit and it shows just how smart/fast/strong he actually is
Spider man is easily the best mid powered melee fighter. He's always holding back and takes way too much punishment because he's clowing around and taking it easy.
Mid powered? I'd say the fact that he's holding back so much when he easily pulled a feat of lifting a thousand+ tons when he held the entirety of the Daily Bugles weight on his shoulders when the support beam broke means he's *the* most powerful melee fighter with the exception of only The Hulk, but that's in terms of Strength. He'd dance around the Hulks moves like nothing in a fight if he didn't hold back, never get touched and end up slamming and wearing him down. The only reason why the Hulk would win is because his strength, regeneration and stamina are literally infinite due to his powers growing with anger, and every hit would just make him increasingly more pissed off.
@@staticcharm3808 Okay, let's do some simple math here. The Hulk and Thor both have a rivalry in terms of Strength and fighting ability. Spiderman once oneshot the Hulk and knocked him clean unconscious. Ontop of this he has spidersense, and can dance and dodge around pretty much any attack coming his way, and that's when he's *not* trying his 100% hardest. And to top this off, he is a genius that's smarter than all of the Avengers, with *maybe* the exception of Ironman, who he'd be on par with, if not smarter than. With all of this factored in, I would advise you to re-think that statement.
@Hunk Hey. I'm not the one who made the marvel universe or the characters, and I certainly didn't draw or write any of the comics. I'm just referencing what was made. And there's a clear power difference. The hulk goes on to fight all of the avengers and stomps them. Then there's a fight showing Spidey with a one shot KO against the Hulk. I'm not going to deny the evidence that was right before my eyes. and this is a simple math equation. Hulk = stronger than the others. Spidey = stronger than hulk. Therefore spidey = ALSO stronger than the others. It's not really that complicated man.
A lot of people seriously underestimate spideys true capabilities and they definitely seem to undervalue how smart he is. Hes a bordering on genius scientist and pulls his punches considerably. Two things that everyone underestimates about Peter: his intelligence and his humanity. Just because he cracks jokes all the time and he's made some bad relationship choices, peter is still one of the smartest people on the planet. His situational intelligence is usually better than anyone else's. He will be in the middle of total chaos and come up with a stellar answer to the situation. Not only that, Peter is the one hero who can connect to anyone through his humanity. He sees everyone for who they are and interacts with them accordingly. A lot of times he will try to talk his opponent down while dodging their attacks. There's a reason why even though Bruce Banner might sometimes be dismissive of Spider-Man, the Hulk trust Spider-Man more than any other hero. It's because peter doesn't treat Hulk like a monster but as a person that everyone attacks first and talks to later.

This is the kind of thing that I love when it comes to writing stories. The writers think outside the box. I don't think anyone would have came up with the idea that Spider-Man could easily web up the windows and block their View.
There is a difference in actively disrespecting him and refusing to put him on a god-tier level when measured against one more powerful.

In a normal fight Superman would cave his skull in at the speed of light if he wanted to kill him.
The thing I always find funny about Spider-Man is how everyone focuses on his talking and acrobatics that people just forget the overwhelming advantage he has when it comes to speed and strength.
He is so fast he:
- is invisible to the(average) human eye
- can stop QuickSilver in his tracks
- can catch a bullet since it pretty much moves in slow motion for him, meaning he is faster than a speeding bullet
- can travel 2 miles in 5 seconds
He is so strong he:
- can stagger the hulk with his hits
- act as a support pillar for the entire Daily Bugle building
- Tank punches from the likes of Juggernut and walk away
- Lift a plane and throw a tank like it’s nothing
- Fight a herald of Galactus and a Phoenix Force empowered Colossus(and take hits from him and keep fighting)
- Lift a train(when it was written, those weighed around 129 tons)
- Lift weight equal to a locomotive(in that comic where he was stuck under water, he estimated the weight was equal to a locomotive and we all know he is smart enough to make those estimations)
All of these are feats from comics.

Seeing as deadpool also annoyed his way out of a deal with Mephisto spidey should get him to work on his own deal
This is the kind of thing that I love when it comes to writing stories. The writers think outside the box. I don't think anyone would have came up with the idea that Spider-Man could easily web up the windows and block their View.
man all heros do is fight each other nowadays
Foreal , what is this DC universe Online? -

i hate that shlt too.
Alot of heroes never realize how much spider man have been holding back that's why they underestimate him so much

@@ahabduennschitz7670 disrespect
People forget how tough Spider-Man is
even his writers forget this sometimes
The way T’Challa gets disrespected now is so sad
There is a difference in actively disrespecting him and refusing to put him on a god-tier level when measured against one more powerful.
The proper way to carry out a debate, in this situation, is to analyze the strengths of both sides and weigh them against each other. The problem comes when one's argument includes, " because I like this one better "
@bromixsr Black panther regularly goes toe to toe with namor Spider-Man shouldn't be too difficult for him, but granted none of the Avengers were truly trying so I suppose that could be a reason
@@bromixsrTchalla is the strongest Superhero in the Marvel cinematic universe. It's the writers that mess him up sadly. Disney didn't even make him a threatening hero. The Tchalla from the comics is way more ruthless than the movies.
@@joshuaj.chinda9873Captain Marvel literally put him down with one photon blast.
"Strongest superhero" my ass

People always underestimate Spidey, to their great dismay.
He is badly overrated
@@staticcharm3808 more like underrated
Spider-man has, in fact, been a superhero for the entirety of his adult life. It's weird that there are so many instances where other heroes don't respect that fact.
its cute panther thought he could fight spidy. spiderman is literally one of the strongest people before you start hitting the thor power braket. not to mention if we go off strenght of character he is one of the absolutes. it makes no sense for anyone to ever question him
Add in the Spider deities that watch over Spidey and he's in the mid-tier of the Asgard spectrum.
Um your don’t k ow how powerful black panther is ☠️
Stop being a fan boy...lots of useless weaklings have humbled him alot.i know you fanbois see your selves and think you are Spiderman but truth is he ain't that legendary.its his struggle that makes his appeal not his power and he's nowhere near Thor bracket, guy is just a ten tonner
@@kasiindeed powerful without a doubt, weaker than spiderman by a factor of 10 at least, Peter is superior to him in literally everything, far far stronger, far far faster, far far more intelligent, eons ahead in durability, spider sense is above and beyond anything black panter have, compare black panther with spiderman is like compare a baby with an adult, even that is not a fair to spiderman, but yah, black panther is strong without a doubt, his just nothing compare to spiderman
@@asasdsaasda Peter is not smarter than tachalla plus Peter has nothing to get through his suit so he isn’t winning bro. Tachalla can summon people from the dead. Has energy manipulation. He’s crazy broken
Spider-Man is constantly underestimated he could kill most heroes and villains in minutes if not seconds
If and when spiderman decides to defect from the rest of the heros, Hulk and sometimes Thor are the only people who actually stand in his way because ones a god and the other can level cities. If Spidy wants something, very few people will be able to stop him
Plenty of people can stop him. Don't be a fanboy
And sentry and the thing and silver surfer and ghost rider and captain marvel and most of spider man's clones and professor Xavier and his land lord who finally fixed that dammed door and wants his rent.
Lots of people and not god tier can get him.hell, black panther with all resources he got if all going out will get him, same as Ironman
@Leather Apron Did you really mention Stark of all people being able to Peter? Peter has hacked Stark's Armors multiple times and quite literally has beaten the Iron off of Iron Man. Hell, Peter has tanked a weapon Stark designed to take out the Hulk and punch someone through glass that Stark swore was unbreakable. Stark ain't got shit for Pete
@@BrandedRamses just because Tony jokes alot and admits people strength when they crack his shell don't mean they can actually take him.his basic armor is a class 100 tons...Spidey is 10 ton class...yes he can crack titanium but Tony can actually break Pete's bones with a punch if he wanted.spidey fan boys act like he's Superman level....y'all gotta relax
Just waiting for the “when Spider-Man HUMBLES his WRITERS” video
Spidy can go toe-to-toe with the Hulk on strength alone and still come out mostly alright, and has practically divine reflexes. Tchalla has a steroid and a fancy suit. Yeah I'm pretty sure the Spider wins here.
Don't be a mindless fanboi...since when is Spidey hulk's pier in strength???hulk claps and destroys cities...can Spidey do that?hulk support mountain weight, can Spidey do that?
Spidey can support the entire daily bugle when it main support was destroyed
Has beaten a herald
Fought two pheonix empowered mutants at the same time
@@wambokodavid7109 we've literally seen spiderman send hulk flying into space when they fought maybe look at stuff before being a jackass
Imagine being a few inches from someone and throw a punch and still miss. Spidey has always made other super heroes look dumb to try to hit him.
Only issue I had with this fight is that Black Panther should've taken zero damage, with the exception of that kick to the head.
It makes sense he did since black panther is so much weaker than him physically. While his armor would absorb a lot of the impact spiderman punches have cracked caps shield before so he was probably taking some damage.
Nah spidey has shown that he is fully capable of breaking vibranium and considering he has strength that was enough to allow him to scrap with the hulk at one point it makes sense that he’s able to hurt Black Panther
@@Hey_its_me6 lol what
@@flyingdragoncar4975 way back in the golden age of comics spiderman was legit one of the strongest heroes. The only ones with comparable strength or stronger than him were the Thing and the Hulk.
@@PrimordialZL but still, the suit can still take attacks from high tiers like hulk, especially with the fact that he can repel that energy, spider man will essentially be eating his own attacks, plus tchalla is a much skilled and experienced fighter, probably not the first time he's fighting opponents stronger than him
I really need you to say, "I'm already at full health!" so badly
I’m pretty sure regardless of super strength, any writer is putting black panther on top comic wise
Experience and too much skill is above just superstrength.sure Spidey too is smart but then again tchalla has weird resources unavailable any where Else
Spidey is hundreds of times his better in strength and speed is more intelligent
Literally experience is all black panther got
Black panther is barely above Steve
Spidey blitzed Steve and beat him over the head with his own shield
I'm surprised Black Panther didn't just make up one or more new powers to beat Spider-Man on the spot. That's usually what he does these days. Like the time he gave himself immunity to Mjolnir and the time he gave himself super speed to match a speedster.
Rest in peace chadwick boseman
I love Spider-Man, but this isn't humbling BP. All they did was exchange a few blows
