Gonna get one of these. I have extra round wood boards from my wall mounted speed bag platform I can use and I also have about 200 lbs of weights to keep it stable. I wish it came with wheels bit i could fabricate something. Great review👍🏾

I ASSEMBLED THIS EXACT UNIT LAST NIGHT WITH MY FATHER - WE USED A ratchet set, BLUE LOCTITE AND WE ALSO DID CROSS BOLT TIGHTENING MEANING WE ADDED ALL THE BOLTS THEN SLOWLY TIGHTENED EVERYTHING TOGETHER. THERE WILL COME A POINT IN TIME WHEN ASSEMBLING THIS BAD BOY WHEN YOU FEEL THE PARTS DONT ALIGN, SPECIFICALLY, THE BASE OF THE UNIT AND THE WINGS, MY ADVICE IS, THEY DO EVENTUALLY LINE UP, JUST STAY POSITIVE AND KEEP TWEAKING WITH IT. AGAIN, USE BLUE OR RED LOCTITE ON THE SCREWS. THIS UNIT IS BUILT LIKE A TANK.

@@TheOrderOfTheDragon I see thank you I been wanting to purchase this as to I can't hang a speed bag on my walls because they are to thin, one last question before I buy this, I'm 6'1 tall will I be able to get the speed bag platform high enough, to where my eye level is at the mid point of the bag ? I'm assuming around 3 inches ?
@@kleibuzo8076 The speedbag in itself is a fantastic workout, I use the medium size, when you inflate the bladder bag, you have to spit or wet the needle first before inserting. To answer your question, I use the 100lb UFC heavy bag, the Everlast stand is rated for 120lb, most heavy bags, at the bottom, contain a loop so you can tie it down so it wont swing everywhere. I, myself am 6'0 and what I did was, when I hung the heavy bag on the Everlast unit itself, I hung the heavy bag by the very last chain link and its now at a fantastic height. I have beatin the shit out of the heavy bag and I have no complaints with anything whatsoever. Even though my unit is situated on a carpet, I did have to put some weights on it but that's because I hit hard. If you want the ultimate man's workout, which will turn you into a potential killing machine, look no further my friend. Happy boxing.

Yes, it was pretty difficult. Thats why I set it up from a rafter on my porch later lol 😂

@@RafeNeverExisted I got something else instead. It's called Everlast Omntflex. It is gd for footwork,striking from different angles, speed and reflexes. Only issue it's not to improve you power shots. It can take some solid shots but I'm not planning to break it . Been using for a month and it's holding pretty gd but u need to tighten the screws once a while. That being said I still prefer a heavy bag but I think the way to go is to hang it and I can't do that where I live.

It says 169 cm which is 5.7 max adjustable height but I think that's without the base. With the base it looks like 178 cm or 5.10 to me. There are other similar options u can check what suits u.

I've worked out on traditional heavy bags ruclips.net/user/postUgkxp9-sf95nqfjey-uyzxUzQ7m9MXRPK1BE a spherical stuffed "wrecking ball" bag, and now this thing. What I like about it is that it has the heft to stay largely in place so I'm not chasing it around. It's tall enough to allow for headshots and body shots, but it's short enough to give an uppercut somewhere to land. I'm very happy so far. Filling it was a bit of a cluster. For top-offs, I've learned that you can screw the supplied nozzle onto any basic plastic water bottle. I can't speak to durability as I've only had it a week.

my bag is 70b. you have 50lb of weight and your bag is 100lb. so should i get 35lb worth of weights ?
For me, 50lbs was still not enough for me. I'm a heavy puncher, so it still rocked back and forth. For a 70lb bag, I'd still recommend 50lbs of weights.
Country question for you man, can I replace that weak board they sent with my everlast adjustable platform board I own that board is really weak, I wanna replace it but I don't know if the screws and everything will fit in place like do you think the everlast adjustable platform be able to be hang up on this platform ?

The straps to my everlast heavy bag teared up and broke after not even a long time of use i have the same frame and everything wouldnt reccomend the heavy bag

Not sure. I wouldn't put anything over 100lbs on it, but it can hold more.

Hey how did you tighten the speed bag stand? The platform tilts every time I hit it and its impossible to get a rythm
I tightened it as much as possible, then made shims to stick in the cracks
What?what do you mean it tilts toward?when you hit the speed bag it tilts foward how the speed bag isnt heavy the heavy bag is heavier why would it tilts toward from where the speed bag is if the boxing bag is heavier?

Howdy! Sorry for being so long in replying! Been busy. ;) To be honest, for a small beginner, it works well. But for me, it wasn't the best. I'm just about 6'2", and weigh around 225lbs, and it was just too wobbly for me. Also the person I bought it from (on Craigslist) wasn't very honest with me, and had left it out in the rain to rot. I also wasn't able to anchor it to the floor. I hope this helps! God bless!

You are correct, and it does get pretty annoying. But for someone who works out at home and wants to master the basics of punch, I'd say it works well. Not good for footwork that's for sure.
Hey, I'm 6 1 and I want to grab this just for the use of the speedbag because my walls are super thin and I cant hang a platform on em, if I'm 6 1 I want my speed bag to where I can see the midpoint of the bag with my eye level, my question is will this platform be tall enough for me to do so ?
My brother is 6'1 and it was tall enough for him, so I think you'll be fine.

Bro I have this same stand, but my bag keeps falling off when I’m punching it. Does it have something to do with the fact that I put the bag on the stand without the rings it came with? Because it’s too short if I put the rings. I need help

I would be using it still, but my family moved for health reasons, so I sold it. Up till the time i got rid of it, it was still performing like it should.

Don’t get this bag bro it sucks I had it before , has hard spots due to being filled with fabric and bags of sand inside the bag, get a nazo boxing bag cheaper and will last you a long time and 100 percent fabric filled great response on your punches.
How does it feel compared to real leather?
Tbh, i like the feel of real leather a bit better, but it still feels alright.
