I personally was just looking for which type of bag to get in an apartment I just moved to. After seeing this just as I thought I'm going with the free standing bag. (If I had the option to hang a bag without a stand is what I would say is the best for obvious reasons) The only con with the free standing bag is it doesn't have the swing, as an amateur boxer I know my opponent wouldn't just stand still while being hit, so it's important to be able to have to adjust to the wherever the bag is just as I am also moving and using angles. But at least with the free standing bag I can use angles and move around it as I please instead of tripping over the bottom of a rack with weights.(And not enough swing anyways with a bag rack) So I feel there is way more pros to a freestanding bag anyways. So I'm going with a freestanding one.
I do appreciate that he at least gave cons with their own product. The only real con for me with fightcamp is the absurd price. No freestanding bag is ever worth that much money. If it wasn’t for that, I’d get it in a heartbeat.
This is helpful. Would the house vibrate if hanging a heavy bag in the garage? I heard the statement it would but wanted to ask. Is it a lot? Or barley noticeable. Thank you!
hy guy brilliant review but for boxing only the more hit it the more the weight drops to the bottom of the bag excellent for low kick boxer if you fill it with sand wrap your hand more to the point wrap your wrists
I'm just getting into boxing as an adult, mostly to get back into shape, but as you said, I've always felt like those metal stands are so limiting. Even more so with 45lb plates on each leg. I feel like movement is such a big part of boxing, and this seems like it would infuriate me(especially since I can just picture myself tripping over the legs, or worse, going to kick the bag(which is one of the things I want out of a heavy back, to help work out my core even more) and getting a foot/shin full of steel.) Any recommendations for a 38 year old male with zero experience who would also like to be able to kick the bag? My therapist did give the info for someone nearby to at least start off with a get a few lessons under my belt so that I can be more informed on what I want/need(and of course to help me with proper technique, to tell me what to practice, etc.)? I can't decide between a weighted bottom and a free hanging bag(especially since my old punching bag in the basement growing up that was hung by chains from the support beams was sooooooooo freaking loud upstairs that I could pretty much only use it when no one else was home.
@@Quantum-ChaosI have a stand bag and I gotta say definitely get the stand if you wanna get into shape mostly because the other is good for form and techniques but the weight of the punching bags help with getting stronger and more burn you can also kick it if you want the guy in the video even did it
If you made it 6-8 inches taller, it'd be perfect. That would be great for taller people. Or if you kept this version available along with a taller wider version. People would definitely buy both. Id buy the bigger one. Even if you have to add 50 more pounds of sand to stabilize it. Itd be worth it. 👍
Do you have any experience with boxing? Also list your measurements. I can tailor a style and game plan around your experience level and your body make up

You're getting a bag to exercise. Probably not a good sign if you're too lazy to fill it or assemble it.
Great vid!
Thank you for this.

You ever figure this out? 36 years old here and wanting to get started too.

Did you get the Bob bag?
@@BobRoss-wm3lc No my kid was creeped out, got the standard one.
@@shukfahid 🤣 which bag did you get?
@@BobRoss-wm3lc The one on the base.
Any advice for safely increasing the height of a metal stand bag? I’m 6’2 and find mine too short.
Find a taller bag
Freestanding FTW!
How do I buy a fight camp free stand puncighing bad
What?

How tall is that fight camp on on the left?
"FIGHT CAMP ROCKS"!!!
This is a TORRENT of information…like…a CENTURY’s worth!😂
Your metal stand was definitely loose on screws. Even without weights, my metal stand does not move.
Bet if you hit it hard enough it'll move. That's what I thought about mine until I really laid into it.

I am a beginner and in my school there is a boxing competition with another school what is the basic steps i needed to defeat them.
