@@TheSourLemon. I went through the trouble of reading uptill the 9th volume (which is when the 7 star sword festival ends), since a 2nd season is not happening. I absolutely loved it especially being someone who despises reading, but did so just to quench my curiosity and find out how this ends. I'll leave a couple of instances that happened in the novel down below and u can ask me questions too in the comments. As you read, these r the following events you will encounter:
Firstly, Alice is a terrorist, he is one of the bad guys.
Stella lost thrice against raikiri in her practise matches leading upto the tournament.
Ikki has an older brother, an A ranked night who is the best in Japan, and becomes and enemy of hagun academy. He defeats Stella in 1 blow
A group of terrorists of the underworld attack hagun academy
As a result, many participants from across school forfeit the tournament Nd shizuku is invited to take part as one of haguns representatives
Stella then trains under nene sensei for the week leading upto the tournament.
Ikiis first match is against last years winner
Since ikki is the MC, he wins the final. (the way the match was written and depicted blew me away. Amazing)
Stella and ikki hv sex for the first time after the final, and they hv it 10 times in a row using up all the condoms. This was largely because Stella was super horny and even called ikki a brute for doing those vulgar things to her in their first time.
I skipped over many details ofc so as to not spoil the entire fun of the novel, but ik many people don't hv the time to read the lightnovel, but I was free during this pandemic so decided why not.
Also as a side note, ikki could never face the sword eater (the hopes that they would fight was one of the main reasons for me to start reading the lightnovel)

I can link u an online free place to read the light novel. Ngl, it's very slow in volume 4 but picks up. I started to get excited about reading by volume 5

qamoos adil I know! The opening, the fights, the great animation! And cute romance despite been an ecchi anime! Usually it would get a second season, yet that other one, what was it, Asterisk? That one got it, why? Oh well, I hope it gets one, and I do not keep wishing like a third season of Spice and Wolf.
Asterisk had 1 season but it was cut in 2, also the romance gets much better later without making it anoying sadly the light novel is translated extremely slow :(

chilvary of a fail knight. Not really big on this anime but at least we they hook up pretty early and didn't drag around by pretending he will eventually go with another girl. Tired of harem anime where the male lead is too dense to know all the possible hook up are his for the taking

bruh 10 times they went from "oh you don't pay attention to me enough and it doesn't feel like a relationship" to that....

Sadly it was not enough popular to have a S2, and Gakusen Toshi Asterisk which is the same kind of anime but more budget for animation and a main character who's not as good as Ikki, and without a better scenario, had more success, in the same year ...

you know im 22 and have been watching anime for a long time, before watching anime was even socially acceptable here in america, i remember geting teased and called a nerd all the time, and noone talked about anime in school back then (like back in 2004-2006), and i really have watched so much manga and anime that im beginning to get tired of how overused some of the tropes in anime are, i really wish for once that the main character was an average looking middle aged guy for once who was like old school samurai style.... idk why in all anime nowadays the main characters have to have appearances that would instantly put them in the top 1% of the worlds population in terms of looks.... or have outrageously large breasts like some of the women do... or have crazy hair.... or be a loli...just wish sometimes that the main character was a normal looking male that wasn't 14-17 years old and was an old fashioned samurai kinda guy with a ripped body like akatsuki from hagure no yuusha
yeah well it looks like i will follow your path because in Serbia anime still isn't socially acceptable about 5% of the country watches anime and 80 of other people it makes them sick.I'm 15 now so hopefully by the time i'm 22 people accept it.
Don't hope too much.. In Serbia anime won't be socialy acceptable, 'cause people here (in Serbia) are single-minded.. I'm 20 now, and I have been watching anime for 4-5 years already... And it's in the same level of socialy acceptance (Level 1).. Poor Balkanians Otaku... :'(
i know what it feels like i have about 4 and a half years of anime and i would always have idiots in school saying its Chinese cartoons and that its for kids so me and my friend made a presentation and made it pretty clear that anime wasn't for kids in the end we got scolded for putting in "inappropriate" scenes in it when all we did was put a bleach fight scene in there i will still hope for a better future for Balkanian otakus but i doubt anything will happen. : (
I gave up trying to convice (ili kako se pise, ubediti), others that anime aren't some cartoons for babies.. I know some other otakus here in Novi Sad, and that's enough for me.. So, don't bother with others.. Live in your own world and you'll be happy :D other's non-otaku will just bring you unhappiness :D
