    Cool video and explanation. Next step to improve, from what I found with my research, is to decouple the heel-plate and the seat from the rig with rubber bushings and washers :) Simply putting rubber bushings under the heel-plate, and mounting the seat with ~10mm rubber washers to the side-mount brackets, will benefit the effects a lot, and also reduce vibrations that are transmitted into the whole rig, and also into the building. Improving your own experience, since the transducers now don't have to shake the WHOLE rig anymore but only the parts that you want to be shaken (less mass to move), and hopefully removing it for those who don't want it.

    Hi Daniel, great walkthrough and explanation of your setup philosophy. I think a lot of people buy a Buttkicker because it's supposed to be less setup, but I think the DIY route is great for the cost savings, but also because dialling in the software is needed for any setup, so may as well save some money and have a better shaker set too.
    I hope you have time to make videos more often!

      Thx mate, im still waiting for QR2 when that is out ill have a reason to do a new video about the DD2 after 4-5 years of use?! :) take care

    Great video! The haptic feedback adds so much and absolutely messes me up if for some reason I forget to turn them on.
    Currently have two butt kickers mounted as a L/R under the seat with some brackets I made up. Can definitely separate the left from right feeling on them. Picking up two Dayton TT-25’s to add to the pedals for the extra feedback.

    I just fitted teo bass shakers and was watching to see your simhub settings. Mine is the same except for slip so ill try yours. I laughed when you talked about wanting to hit kerbs. 😂 I've been hitting every kerb since fitting them.

    new to this - looking at TT25 puck, how to marry the amp with the puck and a set of speakers (wattage/ohms etc?)

    In the simhub Software your 4 channels which ones are the two small in the fronts and which ones the big ones in the back?
    Left two channels the small one in the front ?

    Hello, I have a question about connecting the receiver to the sound card. Did you use 2 pieces of 2RCA cables with a 3.5mm mini jack splitter?

    • @NesterowiczRacing
      @NesterowiczRacing  4 месяца назад +1

      if you look. i use cables. thats 4x rca/phono > 2x minijacks. no splitters :) as its 4 channel

    Hi, whats the max transducer i can use for this setting? Im thinking about mounting 5 transducers. Is that poasible?

    • @NesterowiczRacing
      @NesterowiczRacing  3 месяца назад +1

      I think you can mount 6 without it becoming complicated. Just remember vibration spread :). Again I love my setup. Curbs feel so good

    So this might be a dumb question but planning on getting 2 bass shakers. Since I wont have the amp beside me I Wonder if its possible to bind the master volume on the shakers in simhub on a let say turning knob on a buttonbox?

    • @NesterowiczRacing
      @NesterowiczRacing  8 месяцев назад +1

      Not sure I understand your thinking on this. But fortunately you can get simhub for free and try and play with setting. And you can bind volume to a button box in iRacing if you like

    • @DEFBOY35
      @DEFBOY35 7 месяцев назад

      Pretty sure simhub will allow you to bind buttons or keys to adjust volume. But honestly. Once you have it dialed to where you like it, you most likely won’t touch it.

    Daniel, I added this to my sim rig and love. all but one thing. The normal sound of the engine and such are at a much lower volume . Is there any way to keep the normal volume levels and combine the bass shaker at a reasonable level

    • @NesterowiczRacing
      @NesterowiczRacing  6 месяцев назад

      hey, i do not combine the sound and the haptic feedback. i disabled the LFE in iracing. and just use simhub. dont know if that helps.. but youi shoudl not be dependant on one another

    not sure about under pedals i will try 2 small exciters on each pedal.

    • @NesterowiczRacing
      @NesterowiczRacing  8 месяцев назад

      Go for it, these are big compared to the ones you have on pedals. i belive lots of new brands do good abs vibration pedals now.

    • @DEFBOY35
      @DEFBOY35 7 месяцев назад +1

      The Dayton TT-25’s seam to
      Be a common add on for the pedals. Actually just ordered mine with the nobsound mini amp. Goal is to add slight road feel and AB’s to the brake and traction loss to the throttle for that feedback.

    • @Eskoxo
      @Eskoxo 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@DEFBOY35 as far as i can tell most switched to smaller exciters thos tt-25 are just too big for pedals. Personally I decided not to mess with it anymore and just ordered p2000 pedal shakers and will print some 3d mounts for my fanatec v3s.

    • @mrspangles932
      @mrspangles932 7 месяцев назад +1

      TT25s definitely arent too big to go directly on pedals. Many including me have used them exactly for that and they work very well.
      I've designed and printed mounts for both TT25's and the Simagic haptics and they both do a great job.

    • @DEFBOY35

      @@Eskoxo got mine on. Aesthetically they look a little big. But other than that they fit well and I wish I had done them way sooner. So much extra feel. Was definitely missing out before!!
