So they line 10 cop cars on one street instead of surrounding the building. The building is in the shape of an "I"..you think he stayed in that one section. 3rd floor..he could have cut thru and exited to the street and no one would know better. No cops drove in between that building and the other one on the corner..
Dumb...pure dumb. The helicopter also stayed in that one direction.

Probably tired of the lack of action of the PD in not terminating the chase by taking PIT , but just driving around in a high speed parade, wearing out their vehicles, and burning up gas! Just run up on the suspect vehicle, and put it out of action as soon as you can without endangering half the county! IMHO, safer for all concerned. nobody really cares what bad guys suffer as a result of their actions!!

There seems to be a lot of high speed chases in and around LA. I don’t understand why that is, because there are other large cities all around the country! I wonder if LA gets so much coverage because of all the Hollywood celebrities or if that is even the case! There has to be a reason though!
More people spend more time in cars in LA. so a description would more frequently include a vehicle type as an ID. Also cell tower tracking is used to ID vehicles based on suspect movement. Also, no gridlock, like NY, where a chase on the subway wouldn't be too exciting to watch from a helicopter. Plus lots of news stations with choppers and scanners.
There are TONS of chases everywhere in the world. But all we're seeing is either Phoenix, LA, or San Francisco because in california, or pheonix, they have helicopters that can take videos.
It's simple. More high speed car chases equates to more RUclips videos. And since everybody _knows_ you go to LA to break into the movies.... maybe these morons think that starring in a RUclips video is their ticket to fame!
