    Very helpful video. Sir, does the base layer need iron bars in it. I'm sorry I'm not fluent in English.I'm from Burma and we are currently building one in my home. An engineer said we need to put iron bars beneath concrete layer (base layer) and the other one said it's not necessity. Concrete is poured...not premolded. Thank you in advance.

    Good info, but the water exiting the tank is not clean. Too many idiots do not understand that the liquid coming out of the tank is actually septage, and contains virii, bacteri and other nasties, plus nitrites, nitrates and other waste produced by the "Digestive" processes. Also I would add that there should in reality be a venting system to disperse the methane gas that builds up in septic tanks.
    >
    More info about emptying the tank would be helpful, as would guidance as to waterproofing the tank internally as required by some national building codes.

    • @iseedeadpeoplethrucatseyes1162
      @iseedeadpeoplethrucatseyes1162 2 года назад +1

      Vent is not always needed in a septic tank. A good septic tank is when there's no air that enter on it which why anaerobic organism thrive which digests waste and sludge in the septic tank. Plus methane and other gasses produced by the septage is soluble to water and released in the drain field which then seeps out in soil and released in the atmosphere.

    What type of coatings would you put on the inside walls of the septic tanks to protect the concrete from acid sewer treatments such as muriatic acid?

      Nothing. The porosity makes a correct barrier to keep the outside hygenic!

    hi sir, what is the standard size of the septic tank for 3 chamber sir,?

    • @MrJuventino451
      @MrJuventino451 2 года назад +1

      @Pandora M here in the states you can buy them pre made but usually you want at least a 500 gallon tank for a family of 2 for example. If you have children then you want at least a thousand gallon tank. I dont think you have to adhere to a specific measurement in size, what matters is capacity. You can have a square, a rectangle, or a cigar shaped plastic tank.

      My guess would be to be able to clean out clogs

    • @timothyfreitag3970
      @timothyfreitag3970 Год назад

      My guess is to allow gasses to escape and to prevent vapor lock. Keeps stagnant water from accumulating in the pipe and backing up through your drain. Also, a baffle filter can be installed in the outlet tee before the drain field to prevent solids from moving into the drain field.

      It helps restrict the incoming fluid and prepares it to hit the water and cause commotion in the tank. If the garbage hits the water in the 1st chamber hard it causes the sludge to enter the 2nd or 3rd chamber. It destroys the leach field quicker. A elbow would cause the incoming stuff to eject harder. The reason the same on the other chambers is becaue u want them pulling water from the middle of the 3 water types of each chamber . The sludge at the top u don't want entering the next chamber nor the stuff at the bottom. The middle is the so-called good water. I can't remember the names at the moment but it all has names for it. Hope that helps
