It's interesting to see how farming has progressed over the last 50/60 years from the old double choppers to the modern self propelled that you would have to sell your house to buy
@@VideosofIrishFarmingLife I think farming and contracting paid better back in the old days, I know it was smaller kit and less output but in many ways it was more efficient cos you were powering the forager with a tractor that you would use all year round for many other jobs. I noticed only last week a online farm sale where what appeared to be a pretty decent Reco- Mengele trailed forager sold for £1,000 ......well a contractor won't do very many acres of silage for that money.......who ever bought it had a cheap machine i think

For sure.. The guy that owned the self propelled was looking to upgrade too and it would take a very nice house to pay for the new one!

They are added to give the cows that its to be fed to more nutrients. First time id seen that also..

This is hard job ,my father worked this kind job for Government,also we have farm .
Never see jobs for farm hands
