That Tofu burger bento looked soooo good!
Emma: Be careful there are so much oil.
[USA has entered the chat]
That curry looked nomnomnom!
I really want to like this video and I love Emma but Sarah eating the Tokyo Banana in the last video and now this. It's so eating disordered and ruins the healthy vibe of this. Also, maybe don't show the food just one tiny bit and thrown into the bin. If you know she's not going to eat anything, either get someone else for the eating videos or at least cut off a small piece or something.
It all looks delicious
Emma + Sarah is the best combo! Love their chemistry and energy -- you can tell they're good friends.
Earl grey cake sounds amazing
Emma lookin cute as always~ loved the pretzel banging, no need to be sorry xD
Vegan cheese in a convenience store. How common is it to find that in Japan?
Germany accepts Emma's apology under the prerequisite that she visit Bavaria and try an actual freshly baked Resche Brezn.
Fan meetup included!!!
Germany must not accept. Only Bavaria :D
I wasn't aware that Bavarians had started acknowledging that they are part of Germany.
Brezeln were invented in Baden-Württemberg, sod off Batzi
@@blarfroer8066 Lies and deception, Schwob!
"Bread is life" - that is Sarah's german roots speaking! 10/10 can relate 😂
The Asian equivalent is rice is life. 😅
@@xcalibertrekker6693 nope. Asians love their rice.
Wait until you find a bakery that puts things inside the bread. Like provolone cheese and olives or apricot jam or Spinach, onion, feta cheese, garlic & spices or ham and cheese etc.
The place was amazing. It's one of the few places I miss from my home town.
Brot ist liebe brot ist leben 😄. Ich liebe brot, es ist sehr lecker
@@xcalibertrekker6693 In more recent times, yes! But rice is still hugely part of the Asian diet.
I laughed out loud at the pretzel banging, you guys are hilarious 😂🤣😂
Sarah and Emma always have the best friend chemistry when they get together, so fun to watch. 😂
eating all natural and vegan.
Reality: How many nikuman and pizzaman can I get with 2000 yen?
More Emma is never a bad thing.
Sarah has just the most beautiful eyes, she really does
I really like how her nose is shaped
@@zZwingli Okay, starting to get creepy now...
@@duxnihilo nah, that's just a compliment
@@duxnihilo Nah, he's right, she has a beautiful nose.
@@Meatchop It really isnt.
regarding the marmelade/jam misconceptions: outside the english speaking world the term "marmelade" is sometimes referring to all kinds of jams or preserves. This is especially common in german.
The curry Sarah had looks good 😊 Good choice Emma chaaaaan! And all other snacks you guys picked definitely go well with beer 😌👏
I so appreciated the little nuggets from Emma about healthy eating - "I want people to eat healthy and enjoy eating healthy, rather than hate it and go back to McDonald's." So true!
a snack swap where no one gave Emma Dairy? this feels wrong some how
Waiting for these two to move in together and get engaged 💍✨
Janpanese food is always very interesting, but my brain would go to mush trying to have a conversation with Sarah and Emma they are total babes .. I'd get so distracted.
not sarah's fault for not being able to differentiate between marmalade and jam, jam is literally called marmelade in german
A little too heavily edited for my taste. It confuses my brain if the picture always jumps around bc of all the editing.
I thought I was going crazy and no one is talking about it in the comments. Idk why they added so many jump cuts but it's annoying!!
Totally agree with the jump cuts.. I appreciate they might need to keep to a certain time but it's a bit much...
More Sarah and Emma, they're great together. I fully support the bread is life statement
And oh yeah, the struggle to melt vegan cheese is real. I'm officially jealous of the variety of soy milks in Japan. In the U.S. we have vanilla and chocolate and that's it as far as I've seen. I do really like the Silk very vanilla ones.
so, first slap the pretzel, then microwave it and then put ice cream on it. Got it.
Everytime I see these two I swear they are sisters
I just found out they weren't 😂😂
I always thought they were
is this a joke? 😂 It's really clear what they are
not sure if it's just me but Sarah is adorable :)
Yeah, definitely not just you.
She's so pretty!
they both are
They both are pretty
It's the reason I started watching the channel again. I'm a fan.
Emma is soooo hot
I love how Emma was happy in this swap and in the one with Chris was pure pain.
Emma was having way too much fun smacking Sarah's pretzel.
I love Emma and Saras dynamic!
It's that Aussie connection
Emma: "I don't think we can do it" Sarah possessed by the spirit of Escanor: "Who decided that?"
This one is the most wholesome of the conbini swaps so far, respecting dietary requirements and end up sharing all the food!
Sarah is so gorgeous 💃
Such a fun Video :D BUT: If you are not strong enough to open a Bag o Chips, you NEED Calories ;)
This so necessary, always good to know where to go for alternative options.°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Emma & Sarah vibe XD .. i love how Emma is going the casual girl next door look & Sarah looks like she's going out clubbing XD
Emma - professional pretzel smasher
Nice, my two favorite Tokyo Creative people in one video! I really want to try those chips
Just a tip from a German for the pretzel: Add butter and chives or spring onions to it. It tastes so much better!
Ooo that sounds so good. In America we eat pretzels with cheese dip or mustard usually.
Challenge to buy each other snacks
The lesson learned - Sarah and Emma *are* legit snacks
I'm also caffeine and dairy intolerant.
The poor choice of an iced coffee leads to a party in my belly and the ability to feel my heartbeat through my eyes.
Feeling your heartbeat through your eyes ? Sounds almost romantic 😁
You two are totally the opposite of the Chris & Co squad. “Here’s some fried garbage and booze” is the norm for RUclips.
tbh tho, i love seeing that tho
i just like to watch the world 🔥 burn 🔥
@@X3nophiliac *though
Why are there so many cuts that are just skipping less than 1 second? Its really jarring to watch.
This duo is really dynamic! I remember the love hotel review fondly. As a vegetarian, I will now visit a Natural Lawson next time I got back to Tokyo!
日本の食や文化をRUclipsで発信しているジュンジローと申します。いつも楽しく動画拝見させていただいてます。撮影や編集の仕方とても勉強になります!次回の動画も楽しみにしてます!My name is Junjiro, and I'm a RUclips fan of Japanese food andculture. I always enjoy watching your videos. I learn so much from the way you shoot and edit! I'm looking forward to your next video!
I've seen Sarah in many videos before but in this one... I don't want to be creepy but I couldn't take my eyes off her. Looking absolutely breathtaking.
Emma and Sarah could easily start their own series. They have such great chemistry!
Both of you chose food to make the recipient happy. It was fun to watch you both have fun and share the food.
is crazy how much Emma and Shara look like sisters.
German pro tip: Cut the pretzel like a bun in half. Spread butter on one half, then put the top back on. Enjoy.
I'm just watching 2 ladies enjoying 2000 yen lawson meals and I don't regret it. 😊
Another great video TC. 👍
I dont know if i just didnt notice it before but the many jump cuts while they are talking is very jarring.
This is honestly a nice way to have lunch with a friend.
I want to try the soy keema curry.
Also, Emma rewrites a certain The Prodigy song:
Change my spätzle
Smack that pretzel
I'm not a German speaker but I think I know where the marmalade confusion came from. A colleague told me that a word that sounds a lot like marmalade is basically the German word for jam.
Yup. The german "Marmelade" is any kind of jam; including marmelade. ;-)
god energy in this video :D make more together it looks like you have fun :)
Life is hard but your videos inspire me to live in Japan someday. 😤
No pork or seafood in Japan? How do you survive there Sarah? xD kidding... I know you can get almost anything in Japan, but still, lotsa skipping. xD The best stuff in Japan is almost always guaranteed to have either pork or seafood... :P
Lactose free I also found kinda hard not being able to read japanese... is Emma intolerant or straight allergic? Next time I visit Japan.... well, I expect lactose free stuff to be more readily available, but I'm taking a personal stock of lactase anyways. :P too much milk stuff I wanna try out.
emma 😍
If I had a Brezel like that (dry and hard) I'd probably do the same xD (as a German I don't feel offended at all tbh)
At this crepe place, they had like "fruit marmelade crepe", and when we asked what kind of marmelade they had, they were like "peach or strawberry" while I was expecting some kind of citrus fruit (orange, lemon, clementine, etc.)
Needless to say, I ordered another type of crepe (because I was craving for actual *marmelade*, not just jam)
in my country, "marmeláda" means any kind of jam, and the most common kinds you get when you order it are strawberry, apricot and currant. Citrus jam is very rare here, so this segment confused me a bit :-D
@@cryssanie it is kinda confusing. Marmalade in my country is basically chunky citrus fruit jam with the skin. If there's no bits of skin (or if it's not citrus) then it's just jam. Actually, it's kinda hard to find marmalade here, so that's why I was excited when they had that on the menu (and disappointed when it turned out to be just jam)
The German word for jam is marmelade, but in Anglophone countries it refers specifically to the citrus one. It isn't Sarah's fault!
It isn't! I mean, it is, but according to EU (or maybe EG?) regulations, products labeled as Marmelade needs to contain citrus fruit, except for like farmers markets or stuff like that.
That's why if you buy jam at the supermarket, it's always labeled Konfitüre or Fruchtaufstrich or something like that.
@@aiqueibao3eeGai9ahki I'll take your word for it, but in the German literature I've read it says Marmelade for many different kinds of jam.
"MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!" - the video
loved this!
God, now I really want a pretzel...
honestly... i cant even FIND pretzels where i live. in germany. and they are only good from a bakery, otherwise they are hard as rocks and taste like trash. those kind of lye pastry also comes in other forms, like sticks and buns. those are better, in my opinion.
Great session!
My wife has Coeliac disease (needs a gluten-free diet) and I'd love her to come with me, when I can next go to Japan, but we both think that would quite a challenge (especially as neither of us can read the script - to check packaging) unless we research and stay at places were we can clearly communicate that need.
So maybe Natural Lawson is a good place to take a look at, for on the go refuel ?
cool and funny video, cool to see Sara more and more in front of the camera
Please do more videos like this !
More of Emma and Sarah please 👏🏻
Sarah and Emma are so cute :D really fun video too
I loved all the oooooo's! 🙃
More Sarah YESS!!! Sarah Gang rise up!!!
HELLO YES BREAD IS LIFE & COCONUT ANYTHING 😋 😋 😋 ❤
I’d love to do this with someone!
Step one: go to Japan 🥲
This was super fun to watch! I always feel like going into organic/vegan/natural grocery stores are a fun luxurious excursion so it’s interesting seeing other countries’ grocery store buys.
I hardly get offended by anything, especially if it's about my country germany. But when I saw Emma using the Brezel as a hammer I got a bit furious xD
Love your hair Emma!
Me wish we have the Japanese version of 7 eleven and all the other stores here in America
I feel like they are not saying half the things they are saying with all these cuts.
How are you going to have a pretzel without the mustard, disgraceful.
Pool Pretzel, why is Emma harassing it? Die gute Bretzel hat besseres verdient!!!!!!!
Best hosts combo. I love the interaction between Emma and Sarah.
You both are too adorable I think I just died. I think I would love mikan chips.
Emma!!! Missed you 😘
Sure did 💜
That was fun! :D
love the dairy allergy representation
Don't hurt your Food!
First the poor Pretzel and than backstabbing the Ice Cream with a Spoon... xD
7:20 thanks for representing us Germans out in Japan xD
i come here to relax. and it's so nice every time
That marmelade/jam confusion... I felt that... the German word for jam is literally Marmelade... but in English marmelade is used for jams made from citrus fruits... which is not something we tend to eat here. So when you see orange marmelade but don't check the label and think "oh yummy, apricot jam." imagine the disappointment... XD
Happened to me a few times haha
mmmmmmmmmmm
I love this series so much!
I want to try the pretzel and ice cream together. That sounds brilliant!
"Oi don't smack my baby" hahaha
I now have a crush on Sarah.
I recently bought a German pretzel from a local supermarket and it was only $1.99 but it tasted like it'd been brushed with soy sauce and it was very dry, so my dad ended up eating it but i didn't think till after it was gone to put it in the microwave... D'oh !
Will definitely go back and get another one to try again lol
Smack that pretzel XD
Is it just me, or does Emma always seem to get the worst side of the trade in these food swaps?
I like the moment the pretzel suddenly makes a break for it
Their review for all the food: "mmmmmmm mmmmmm mmmmmmmm"
Great video, it’s good seeing Emma and Sarah, hopefully whoever was behind the camera (Alex maybe), got to try some too
