I sometimes did when I went to conventions, but it's really a lot of work to do every day for your kids I bet, heard that japanese moms stand up 2 hours in advance to prepare those bentos in the morning
I feel like Shiori vs. the rest of the population have vastly different opinions of what the term "Simple" means lol. All the bentos looks great but Shiori's bento looks like a 5 course meal packed into a box.
It’s probably simple for them, because they are used to making bento meals. I have tried to make my own for, when I go to school, but it usually don’t contain that many side dishes. I have mainly main meal and maybe a salad.
Loved all bentos and it was a tough call! Jordan - for his simple explanation and noob friendly bento. Shiori - for her colourful and complex bento with multiple side dishes. Alex - an all rounder with tips & tricks for easy bento making! If I have to choose one, my favorite would be Shiori's bento.
I like all 3 of them actually, each caters to different tastes but all look tasty so, erm, when do you plan on starting a delivery plan for your subscribers? 😄😄
All the bentos seems really delicious but I prefer Shiori's bento. I would love for her to show us all the side dishes she prepare in the week-end for the bentos of the week !!
Hey Jordan, you can actually eat the broccoli stem too, you just need to cook it a bit longer or skin it. Also great for making soup! That chicken looked amazing!
Yaaay, Alex in front of camera... ☺ Alex adding a little heat to her "Ladies Fingers"... Maybe as a surprise... ☺ Shiori has the most variety/complexity for bento including delicious umeboshi with her rice... I really enjoy black sesame flavour... Broccoli not so much... Overall, there is something from all to enjoy...
Oh they all looked really tasty, but Shiori's bento was really something else! Everything about it looked delicious and really well presented. Like a Marshall amplifier, Shiori always takes it to 11!
OMG it all looks so good! I am allergic to egg so...I wouldn't be able to eat any of that lol. I'd have to say Jordon wins in my book. Home made pickles are so good, and I LOVE the presentation of the sandwiches. But it was close. I am a huge tuna fan so Alex was up there too. And the carrot cutting advice was excellent, as was the cute panda seaweed cutout! Shiori did fantastic and it all looked very nice. I am just not a fan of miso soup (though I believe that's her grandmother's homemade miso? I'd still devour it lol) Also for some reason I watched this late at night and now I am hungry. Oops!
I made a bento for myself for a while, but I am really not a morning person.....so I made them the night before....but then the rice isn't quite as nice as when it is fresh. And of course it was never this complicated. Just rice with some veggies or just a mix from a can :P Of course I like Shiori's bento best....but it also seems the hardest to make, so her experience shows :)
Wow, all 3 fantastic approaches. I bet Alex would’ve preferred some sambal or belachan with the okra. Now we need a challenge where Chris Broad makes a bento, that he must eat on his own
Thank you for sharing! Little giant certainly made a mountain of variation to fit that little box. Things I'm 0% surprised in learning. Jordan does his own pickles and Alex has a white board IN the kitchen for organization. I shan't pick a favorite as one really can't compare. How does one choose between Beethoven, Nina Simone, and Tom Waits? (I guess I should throw Kodo in the mix...)
all 3 of these are amazing and cool bentos that I'm going to copy to some extent my favorite has to be the chicken katsu but all three have aspects I respect like the awesome tuna patties or shiori's full course meal in a bento
These all look delicious, but if I had to choose, I'd probably pick Jordan's first, and Alex' second. Sorry, Shiori! Your bento looked great! It's just, the others looked even better >_>
They all look good. Jordan makes me think I can slice a chicken breast it half. I want to try either of those patties the women made. Okra with chile and bacon wrapped mochi? Yes, please.
We love your videos and look forward to each of them. If I could ask one thing - can you normalize the audio? It is very different over the course of the whole video. Thanks!
Shiori❤❤❤❤❤ Thank you for the Tofu Hamburger idea❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉 Which type of Tofu do you use for making Tofu burgers? I loved your bento the best as it was super colorful and I enjoyed watching you cook too!! It was all fun!!🤗❤️
It's so odd seeing this from Britain, where we have a food product called Fry Bentos. It is a pie (as in meal pie, not desert pie) in a metal tin, so you can put it in the oven or over a fire and use a tin opener, so you get a pie on its own plate.
Have you guys thought of trying to make some of these recipes vegan? I'm not vegan, but I always appreciate the healthy/creative ways of re-vamping recipes :)
What lovely bento!! Thanks for sharing this, it almost inspires me to get in my kitchen and be thoughtful about my lunches. Almost. Maybe. Eventually. You know. ... Later. I loved watching it and would v def nosh on that chicken katsu that Jordan made. Come to think of it, I may have a selection of improperly sized bowls that I could use for just that purpose. Hm. Cheers!
These all look so yummy! My own 'attempts' at bento stop with stuffing some carrots, grapes and tomato together with my sandwiches in my lunchbox :$ I am waaaay too lazy to put in that much effort
Sooo, am here from a japanese ppl try marmite video from abroad in japan, please could you try doing it properly? Marmite should be spread thinly on toast, if you add cheese and ham, its a whole different ball game, and works well... i watched a video about Japanese ppl liking spam (canned meat) and the diff types the diff types available there, was wondering if you could combine the 2, showcasing the different spam (a lot of people hate spam tho, maybe make chris eat some spam) but defo need to try spam cheese marmite toasty... sorry for the ramble! Keep up the awesome entertainment
Which bento did you like the best?! Have you guys ever made bento at home before? Let us know what you'd like to make down below!✨
shiori
I sometimes did when I went to conventions, but it's really a lot of work to do every day for your kids I bet, heard that japanese moms stand up 2 hours in advance to prepare those bentos in the morning
My bento is: Here is money ... now go buy yourself some food 😁
I want to try all the bento, they all look delicious with an amazing amount of preparation
I think Shiori's bento is my favorite! It has so much variety (and I don't like boiled eggs lol)
Jordan is an actual ray of sunshine ☀️ GREAT addition to the team!
Shiori is such a sweetie. Protect her at all costs.
13:22 Alex' camera angle dedication when cooking the rice 👌
"Smashy smashy smashy". 😄 Shiori's is definitely the best, so much variety.
They all look delicious! I loved Alex’s filming sequences while making the rice!
"the piiman is in the toaster and is ganbatteru-ing" is one of those lines that just make me all warm and happy inside. great serotonin source 🙃
Shiori’s bento looked number 1 but she started young to make them. You all made them so easy to cook, well done!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Incredibly well done, everyone is so talented, Alex's bento was to die for, is there nothing she doesn't excel at?..
They all look super good, but I think Alex's panda egg takes the win 😍
Fave was Jordan because but they were all so fun to watch!
Who could give this crew a thumbs down?? Thanks for the inspirations 😊😊
Loved this video! All the bentos looked sooo yummy!
I like all 3 of them actually, each caters to different tastes but all look tasty so, erm, when do you plan on starting a delivery plan for your subscribers? 😄😄
I was going to say that I liked Jordan's the best, but all of them ended up so cute its hard to chose!
Jordan's hair is on point✨
all the bentos look so good!
These all look delicious, great jobs Jordan, Shiori and Alex
Shiori's bento is definitely my favourite. It's so creative and delicious!
All the bentos making my tummy growl LOLS
To me Alex's bento was the best! I'll definitely try to make a similar bento next week!! Thank you guys for the video!!
Jordan kneeling on the floor to fit his head in shot. Lol.
All the bentos look so delicious! Well done guys.
All the bentos seems really delicious but I prefer Shiori's bento. I would love for her to show us all the side dishes she prepare in the week-end for the bentos of the week !!
Jordan seems like such a sweetheart :D
All of them look so yummy 😋
honestly I loved them all but Jordan's looks very yummy
Thank you for the food ideas guys!
1-Shiori 2-Jordan 3-Alex
Hey Jordan, you can actually eat the broccoli stem too, you just need to cook it a bit longer or skin it. Also great for making soup!
That chicken looked amazing!
what?! I had no idea, that's for the tip!
That man's afro is the sleekest thing I've ever seen
Wow id love to have Shiori's bento so much variety 😜
Jordan doesn't have a youtube channel, right? He's a natural thought :)
I literally just made one last week lol
@@AfroInJPN Yaay, just subbed!
I loved Shiori's bento! Such delicious variety!
Yaaay, Alex in front of camera... ☺

Enjoyed it waaaaaaay more than expected lol great, beautiful bentos
Thanks for all the ideas!
Oh they all looked really tasty, but Shiori's bento was really something else! Everything about it looked delicious and really well presented. Like a Marshall amplifier, Shiori always takes it to 11!
I would literally eat all of these. Great job you guys!
Great video, good seeing Jordan, Alex and Shiori
They all look so good !!!
Shiori is the one I would love to taste. Not that the other ones do not look as tasty but the variety did get my taste buds.
Tokidoki Emma fanclub checking in🤙🏻
They all look extremely delicious 🥰
thank you for cooking ideas
Jordans looked so good :')
All the bentos look delicious

12:28 that lighting the gas sound made me nostalgic for Pink Guy's Ramen music video.
I made a bento for myself for a while, but I am really not a morning person.....so I made them the night before....but then the rice isn't quite as nice as when it is fresh.
And of course it was never this complicated. Just rice with some veggies or just a mix from a can :P

I just had lunch but now I am hungry again! :D
Those three Bentos albeit very different from another, looked equally amazing 🤩
They all look so nice and yummy.
jordan is lovely
I wish I could taste all of them! They look so delicious
My mouth is overflowing 🤤🤤🤤🤤
I loved all of the bentos. I would take something from each bento and create a new bento according to my tastes.
Wow, all 3 fantastic approaches. I bet Alex would’ve preferred some sambal or belachan with the okra. Now we need a challenge where Chris Broad makes a bento, that he must eat on his own
Mmm beautiful bentos!
Shiori in the kitchen: MIX, MIX and SMASH, SMASH 😋
That made me chuckle as well. :)
"Easy!"
Loved this!! Ty
yum yum homemade pickles!
I will never get over how small Japanese kitchens are.
Omg mochi and bacon?! 🤤🤤
Alex has a great talking tone of voice.
I like the Shin Chan lunch box that Shiori used.
That chicken katsu looks delicious!
Thank you for sharing!
Little giant certainly made a mountain of variation to fit that little box.

Alex's half sleeve is soooooooooooooooooooo sick
Why shiori so cute
Lol Jordans parts look like one of my videos. I have those same long oval plates
Wow Shiori’s bento is over level 9000 xD I want some of that 🥺
More more more of these 3 please all of them on Trash Taste and Abroad In A Pan
all 3 of these are amazing and cool bentos that I'm going to copy to some extent my favorite has to be the chicken katsu but all three have aspects I respect like the awesome tuna patties or shiori's full course meal in a bento

All 3 bentos look so goood ;P~~ yum yum

Japanese Bentos 🍱🍱🍱
sound delicious, Id like to have that!

Did I heard it wrong or Shiori said 'ganbatteru-ing'?? that's cute! btw I love red miso too
mmmm I'm so hungry now
Furukaki is the best!🤣
what a monster of a sandwich. does jordan have to unhinge his jaw to eat it ahaha
Shirori, that isn't a lunch. That's a 24 hour ration.
These all look so yummy! My own 'attempts' at bento stop with stuffing some carrots, grapes and tomato together with my sandwiches in my lunchbox :$ I am waaaay too lazy to put in that much effort
Great 'fro
People are sleeping on Shiori's bento box!
More Alex please....👍
Jordan's resemblance to LWIF host is uncanny...
Alex's husband is so lucky
what was the bag Shiori pulled her vegetables out of? Is it a special bag for vegetables or just a normal storage bag?
