Generally it's safe in Malaysia. But be CAREFUL. Don't just simply go to a place that you're not confident with. That palm plantation is still in the airport's property. Be careful at that area. Rats usually eat palms & they attract snakes too. There's a designated spot in that airport where you can laydown/sleep but it's hell freezing

It was so cold in the airport the a.c. is epic😂 thanks so much for the local information. I did feel safe camping in the palm plantation, that’s why I left. Palm oil estates are even dangerous in daylight let alone at night. When you sleep you are still. Easy prey. You need keep a fire going, even a small one. It's to let the creatures know that a human is there and he's ready to make curry out of them 😂😂.

No way would I have done KLIA. I would have tried Sabang Airport, the old KL airport near where you are staying. Surrounded by golf courses, patches of jungle, lots of opportunities. Kudos to you as always. Viewers have little idea of how hot, humid and uncomfortable it is there. Spending 12 hours in your hammock would be a long night by any measure, throw in the heat and humidity and the mozzies.... You look like that bloke stuck in the airport in that movie with Tom Hanks, The Terminal.
