      I think she is correct because Thailand and Indonesia economy are larger than Malaysia, but for GDP Malaysia is the third after Singapore and Brunei. But Malaysia is much more organised and most Malaysian follow rules and regulation.

    • @ezzywish417
      @ezzywish417 3 месяца назад +10

      @@Malinasvibe
      If you get data about the GDP, it is obvious Indonesia and Thailand are the highest since the size of these countries are bigger.
      But if you look into the GDP per capita, Singapore and Brunei are higher than Malaysia (3rd in South East Asia)
      Real GDP per capita is an economy's production per person. It is often viewed as an indicator of the population's general welfare and standard of living and is a good indicator of a countries economic development when compared to other economies.
      Rich country indicator is based on GDP per capita.
      As an example, India's GDP is big, ranked 5th largest GDP in the world but India is ranked 62nd (GDP per capita) poorest country in the world in 2024.

    Dont forget to join the celebration of Malaysia Day this year. The event is called "Keretapi Sarong" but it will be held on 14 Sept 2024 in Kuala Lumpur. (Malaysia Day is actually celebrated on 16th Sept every year but this year the date clashes with the Birth of the Prophet Muhammad SAW so they celebrate it earlier due to show some respect i guess) . I am sure you will enjoy the vibe of Keretapi Sarong because it is a super fun events full of cultures, diversities and colours.

    Hi Malina, KL is generally safe, much safer than many major European cities for petty crimes. You may not feel comfortable at the old side of KL, because there's many foreign workers there, or some not working but here illegally. They like to stare at people(or women), a culture prevalent from where they're from. Yes, I've seen some other female travellers too expressing their discomfort. But so far, I've not heard any crimes yet (not that I'm aware of..). You should be safe walking around with your partner at night, if alone, yes be mindful.... because you're good looking 😶

      There is 2 category with regard to economy. If you say biggest economy in southeast Asia, youre correct indonesia should be no 1 follow by Thailand, and Malaysia not even no 3, Malaysia actually no 6 behind Vietnam and Philippines.
      But if say richest country by gdp, Malaysia is no 3 after Singapore and Brunei.

      @KayH6 3 месяца назад +1

      @@dwoodglobal945 we arent concerned abt how big d economy is when we know its just based on how big d population is and by d way she mentioned it obviously she wants to talk abt d economy of d ppl hence should be based on gdp per capita how much ppl actually earn

      @@KayH6 nope.. Largest economy not solely based on population, for example Singapore economy bigger than Vietnam, Philippines and Malaysia eventhough their population is very small. A lot of other country in the world to with bigger economy but small population.
