Hi Malina, KL is generally safe, much safer than many major European cities for petty crimes. You may not feel comfortable at the old side of KL, because there's many foreign workers there, or some not working but here illegally. They like to stare at people(or women), a culture prevalent from where they're from. Yes, I've seen some other female travellers too expressing their discomfort. But so far, I've not heard any crimes yet (not that I'm aware of..). You should be safe walking around with your partner at night, if alone, yes be mindful.... because you're good looking 😶

There is 2 category with regard to economy. If you say biggest economy in southeast Asia, youre correct indonesia should be no 1 follow by Thailand, and Malaysia not even no 3, Malaysia actually no 6 behind Vietnam and Philippines.
But if say richest country by gdp, Malaysia is no 3 after Singapore and Brunei.
