I had discussions on end with my father about what I classified as good music. His was different. Then finally he told me something that he looks for in music and the stuff I had just played him was lacking in that. What I do when hearing something that wasn't written, nor performed for someone with my taste, is I listen to learn something or move on. Giving it a thumbs down is not beneficial in the least. Coincidently, I think they are doing a GREAT job on the song and it's one that I find a blues classic. I play this one nearly every gig, with one band I perform in. If we nail a groove that well, we'd likely mention it!
