First of the "Songs From Home"! The video for this song was in production before the closing of the AI-Art Poll, and this one took advantage of several things I learned over the past few days of working with Midjourney to generate the art. All the art in this video is AI generated by Midjourney, mostly using Version 4 (The latest algorithm at the time of posting) to see if more photorealism garners a better response. I will warn, there _may_ be some weird things here or there, the algorithms are _good_ but by no means _perfect_ and details tend to get lost by these things. Regardless though, I want to make sure to plug the Discord-based Midjourney Image Generator and recommend y'all check it out if you're interested in art!: www.midjourney.com/ The video for this song went though quite a development as I was forced to do a rerecord the day I was going to post, then I had a shift in how I wanted to represent the story with the art at about the 3/5ths point where the song shifts from talking from the perspective of the singer to the perspective of one of the singer's (great-)grandparents. Sadly, as I was assembling the video under the time crunch (and sleep deprivation😅) I didn't realize that the styles didn't match up until the final review that I raced through. So I _hope_ the change won't be too jarring, and will instead allow you to interpret the lyrics from different points of view.
