@@bideru1903 Not really I think. But looking back at some of the older "WHAT IF" episodes, they could have gone into more detail with the story. Like "WHAT IF Nappa turned Good?", another personal favorite, but part 1 alone covered the Saiyan Saga all the way to the Future Nappa Saga, that's a lot for a single episode and it honestly feels a bit rushed I guess.
Goku in this story really feels like mythology Sun Wukong. A very strong fighter that can solve the plot if they just get motivated to do it. So kinda neat how this paralleled Journey to the West's Goku.
He should also get ssj god and blue without any problem both GT and súper agreed on the fact Gohan can still go ssj or ssj2 after having his power unlocked Meaning it was just a more efficient way to get stronger not a limiter

I think Gohan going Majin was primarily Goku's fault to be honest. I mean Vegeta definitely played a role but he added fuel to the fire and Goku dumped Gasoline on it. Vegeta was just trying to get him to remember that Ki Sensing exists, Goku straight up told a Cancer Patient on their deathbed that they could have been cured if they just ate an apple.

Yeah that's just true but combining that with the resistance training with a gravity chamber but actually help the person even more. Like basically torturing yourself to get stronger.
Not to sound soft but I teared up a bit when goku and chi-chi talked about how he had peaked and the good benefits that had. I think it was something I wanted to hear as well as others.
I liked the majority as I watched per release originally. Though some minor critiques that deducted it for me. I still think during ToP the handling could been slightly better. I mean with Videl, Gohan, and 18 being the MVP characters. But still very much enjoyed it outside of personal nitpicking.

While the story is focused on videl, which is an absolutely brilliant story mind you, I want to draw special attention to ultimate Goku. This take on where the character goes is quite fascinating, letting Goku evolve in other ways than just getting stronger, by having his character change and tested in a way unable to before, something which I feel the buu saga was truly missing. I would never expect Goku in cannon to go through this journey for many reasons, but it does give food for thought about future story ideas. Brilliant as always
What if idea- what if Vegeta, nappa and maybe raditz came to earth to be villains during the original dragon ball. I can imagine a villainous rivalry between kid Vegeta and emperor pilaf XD Kid Vegeta: kakarot is mine to destroy short stack!! Pilaf: I saw GOKU first! Plus I'm a gremlin what's your excuse!!
First time watching one of your videos. This entire storyline including Videl was awesome. Imagining her becoming a skilled fighter and being more involved in the story was incredible, and it's cool to think about her getting more attention as a character (Plus, it was funny to hear you voice act Videl even though all I heard was Goku).

Yeah that would make an interesting part. Videl knows what truly happened with Cell and had heard it from both perspectives. So her final battle of sorts being her taking on an alternate version of the beast (see what I did there lol 😂) and taking it on as well. Imagine the news Daughter of hercule stops the return of Cell with her husband. The torch is passed to the next generation. Or something along those lines.
I’d love if Goku take a role of mentor to Gohan, Videl, Goten, Pan, and Uub more (I mean he kinda did a little in this) but I want more, like how roshi did in later arc and then suddenly he got ultra instinct and become the strongest once again.
PLEASE make a series continuing this story. Infact, I want a series for every what if you make (besides the ones with super definitive endings), because I love all your what ifs, and I wish DBZ was public domain so you could make these into books.

I quite like this, but personally, my only critique is Gohan learning Instant Transmission, since it seems like he's always been conveyed as more of a physical fighter with less of a grasp on Ki than Goku and Vegeta. Everything else, though? 10/10
Well, it's nice to see that you made Goku more of a, secondary character, and made Gohan and Vegeta the main focus, but, I don't think that the whole "Unable to grow stronger" vibe from Goku is justified, yeah, he reached his max potential, he's bummed about it, but, like Gohan, who managed to become a Super Saiyan again, Goku would continue training, finding a way to surpass the limitations of all his hidden potential having been unlocked, he can still use God Ki to transform, not as powerful though, and Ultra Instinct should have been obtainable as easily as Super Saiyan, requiring an unwilling sacrifice, Krillin going all out to make Goku himself again... It's, well, unnatural to me, I liked it, but, I just wish that Goku didn't stop training, despite being a saiyan, a good fight is bound to make his blood boil! It's saiyan nature! Goku shouldn't have become reclusive! Yeah, I can tell that, training Goten is a good thing, but, well, idk, it's just all unnatural to me...
@@saptruck3414 the original explanation for ultimate Gohan was that it was truly the ultimate level of strength and power Gohan was ever going to be able to achieve and, like with the androids never really being able to improve, that was just as far as Gohan could ever go aside from MAYBE being able to go ultra instinct too if that counted as something different from a transformation. Personally, I actually like Toriyama either forgetting or retconning that lore for both the ultimate form and the androids since it would have meant that Gohan and the androids just stagnate and fall ever further behind as the series progressed. Maybe Bulma could have upgraded the androids a bit to allow them to become stronger but Gohan definitely would have been permanently stagnant. It's also not entirely impossible to justify the retcon either if you change it from this is Gohan's ultimate level of strength he could achieve ever to this is Gohan's ultimate level of strength achievable at this point in the series. Besides, come on, would you really want to see someone like Chiaotzu, Tien, Krillin, or Yamcha surpass Gohan as they become stronger while Gohan is just permanently peaked?

Goku going UI was absolutely perfect he gave up fighting due to meeting his limit then gets God ki and gains that fighting spirit back.

I quite like this, but personally, my only critique is Gohan learning Instant Transmission, since it seems like he's always been conveyed as more of a physical fighter with less of a grasp on Ki than Goku and Vegeta. Everything else, though? 10/10

Well, it's nice to see that you made Goku more of a, secondary character, and made Gohan and Vegeta the main focus, but, I don't think that the whole "Unable to grow stronger" vibe from Goku is justified, yeah, he reached his max potential, he's bummed about it, but, like Gohan, who managed to become a Super Saiyan again, Goku would continue training, finding a way to surpass the limitations of all his hidden potential having been unlocked, he can still use God Ki to transform, not as powerful though, and Ultra Instinct should have been obtainable as easily as Super Saiyan, requiring an unwilling sacrifice, Krillin going all out to make Goku himself again... It's, well, unnatural to me, I liked it, but, I just wish that Goku didn't stop training, despite being a saiyan, a good fight is bound to make his blood boil! It's saiyan nature! Goku shouldn't have become reclusive! Yeah, I can tell that, training Goten is a good thing, but, well, idk, it's just all unnatural to me...

@@saptruck3414 the original explanation for ultimate Gohan was that it was truly the ultimate level of strength and power Gohan was ever going to be able to achieve and, like with the androids never really being able to improve, that was just as far as Gohan could ever go aside from MAYBE being able to go ultra instinct too if that counted as something different from a transformation. Personally, I actually like Toriyama either forgetting or retconning that lore for both the ultimate form and the androids since it would have meant that Gohan and the androids just stagnate and fall ever further behind as the series progressed. Maybe Bulma could have upgraded the androids a bit to allow them to become stronger but Gohan definitely would have been permanently stagnant.
It's also not entirely impossible to justify the retcon either if you change it from this is Gohan's ultimate level of strength he could achieve ever to this is Gohan's ultimate level of strength achievable at this point in the series. Besides, come on, would you really want to see someone like Chiaotzu, Tien, Krillin, or Yamcha surpass Gohan as they become stronger while Gohan is just permanently peaked?

FOUND THAT THIS ENTIRE SERIES EXISTS AND IS COMPLETED. THANK YOU
