Surprised to see Holley 1850 vac/air velocity secondaries on those engines. Those throttle bores have to be punched out with some of those engines reportedly being in the 540 C/I range. "Obviously on there by Rule"
Carbs must be same as they came form the factory. Throttle bores can not be touched. Engines can only be over bored .080 and the stroke tolerance is .015 +/- from factory specs. If you over bore the stock 426 cubic inch hemi to .080 and stroke the cranks to .015 you come up with 443 cubic inch.
I would hav sworn that I'd seen a RUclips video at Indy last year claiming the Hemi cars at 540 C/I and running in the mid 8's. What are these cars running far as ET's with the limited carburetion? 9.60/9.80 ? @@ClassRacercom

@@Nobody-ld7mk NHRA Super Stock rules are very strict. The fast hemi cars are running 8.30's at 160mph

Its NHRA class for Hemi Barracuda's and Darts. They can both run Super Stock and the Hemi Challenge.
