I’ve seen deer and moose stand 100 yards away from where a pack of hounds is treeing on a bear. Also seen deer stand in a field where we were shooting geese firing off 100 shells. Deer don’t care about things that aren’t directed towards them. Slip into a field at dusk quiet as can be and let a deer catch your wind or snap a stick and then watch them take off.
@@Trythis837 yea, I’ve had them come up to the yard right after sighting in my muzzleloader. And you’re right about sneaking around…they immediately pick up on that.

Yep , they don’t pay much attention to it ,
I’ve seen the same with dogs sometimes as well. The deer just watch in that direction but don’t seem bothered by it.
