You just saved my analysis now without knowing - thank you! I did not know I could drag coded items from 'Cases' and drop in 'Nodes'. But, seeing you do it saved me the longer route.
I searched for a lot of tutorial, even from the official website of Nvivo, However, all of them hard to follow and missing alot of steps. they do not tell us how to create the code exaclty. and how to code the article. your tutorial is the best everything is clear and in few words and short time. you are the best Thanks
2:33 onwards Very helpful 3:58 References and linking with a node 5:34 Really helpful (highlighting answers) 7:08 Highlight then drag and drop is easier
NVivo has completely changed its terminology 'Early versions of NVivo used 'node' as a term for any item that could be coded to. This included 'theme nodes' and 'case nodes'. In version 12, 'case nodes' were referred to just as 'cases', but 'theme nodes', or just 'nodes' continued in use. With NVivo (Release 1) the transition is completed, with simply 'cases' and 'codes'."
Hello. I'm having a major problem with NVivo. I can't make any selections of user Group A and User Group in coding comparison. When I choose, the name section says my computer brand, Dell. That's why I can't get a cappa result. I can't pick any code.Thank you.
Thank you very much for your informative presentation! Could you please help me with the focus group interview? It means that I conducted an interview in a group of 5 students. How can I count the number of students who have the answers in the same node (number of the file) when I only have one file?
Hi i have one question 🙋. Can you please tell me How to search 3 words frequency at a time ..... Example: "Cyber physical system" as one word i am trying to search but it is showing me system as different , cyber as different as well physical ...Can you please tell me how to do it "CYBER PHYSICAL SYSTEM" AS ONE WORD ? and for other other words also
Great video Billy! Maybe someone can help me with exporting? I have aggregated all child nodes under one parent node and want to export it in the current hierarchical order. When I try to export the parent node it sorts the document according to references so I have no idea which qoutes belongs to which node. Is there a solution for this?
I have a question: is it possible to make the piece of text that you coded receive a color? in that way you can see what you already coded and what not , in different colours. thankyou in advance
So... what is the actual point of doing all of this? I was told to take a look at this software to help pick up patterns in the interviews I've done. After viewing this video I see no reason as to why anybody should do do this.

If you are doing content analysis of journal articles, is it OK to have pre-determined categories based on RQ and then simply use it for text search?
Your videos are so helpful, thank you for sharing your time :)
Billy the man !!! nice job
Hi, Dr. Wong, are you from Singapore? You sound like a friend from Singapore.

Very helpful. Thanks! :)

Thank you for this!
very helpful video. I was going to thematic analysis manually, but now might use this software. Does it ouput coded text into graphs, tables etc ?
thanks for the video!
great video, though the sound effects at the beginning and end are very loud.
thank you
Thank you so much from ArizStateUniversity!

thankyou in advance
I also would like to know how I can see which text elements I already did code.

Do some research, did you expect an 8-minute tutorial to tell you how to analyze the data?
useful but hard to understand accent at some points
Really helpful - thanks!
Thank you
