I’m running into an issue where my recorded interview will not upload into NVivo Transcription. I keep getting an error message that says “Upload failed. Try again”. What am I doing wrong? I just purchased NVivo 12 for Windows.
What do you do if you have already transcribed the interview but you did it outside of Nvivo (I have transcribed 36 interviews for a project) but only now am I being introduced to Nvivo and I want to code all these transcripts in Nvivo. Is it alright to just copy-paste the transcript I already made where the typical transcription is?
Sorry for the slow reply! Yes you can copy and paste or simply upload them as a word file and you can then code them as if it was a transcription. Super easy!
Hello, I would like to ask for your help. I don't actually know what version I have downloaded but whenever I uploaded whether a video or an mp3 file, it always says that the media file format is not recognmizable and its codecs may not be installed on my computer. How do i fix it?

If you upload a video recording of Microsoft Teams to Microsoft Stream, it will transcribe it for you. It's not perfect but better than nothing. You might want to try a website called Otter, too.

Yes a Node is another name for a code so should be fine!
Is there no auto transcribe in Nvivo 12 Pro?
Not that i am aware. I believe you can send a transcript off to them but you have to pay
