Jackie Kennedy was one of the most classy, intelligent, articulate loving wife and mother! In my opinion I think she was the classiest First Lady ever. She had poise, class, grace in all that she had endured. Watching her husbands brains blow out of his head and if you watch the clips of the day President Kennedy was assasinated it looks as if she was trying to grab the big piece of the presidents brain which had blown off and was on the trunk of the limo. And then you aew the secret service man trying to protect her and get her back into the car. Throughout all this horror she remained poised and in control as she knew she was the first lady and the nation was watching. This family had something bad as far as something like a curse. It is sad that President Kennedy was assasinates because he was a great president but did not get a chance to show this country what he could do for it.

I remember the day very well..my husband and I had just got married in may. We went to visit Graceland ..we were on our way back to my aunt's house in Tennessee...out of no where..I started to smell flowers like the ones you smell at a funeral. And I was like omg something happened to some one in the family..I said to my husband..so I called everyone I could think of...but everyone was ok..so I was like ok great but it was still so weird to smell that..so we get home to go sleep..the next morning we wake up to the t.v and it was jfk jr. His wife and sister in law. Missing..I was like omg!!!! And low and behold at about the time that the previous night was when they crashed...I knew something had happened..but my first reaction was it was someone in my family!!! Sorry for such a long story but that has always stuck with me...it was just so weird...

Even if John did not die in that plane crash and went on to run for office, I would still be worried and concerned for his safety. Think about it. Both his father and his Uncle Bobby were assassinated. Also his Uncle Ted faced numerous death threats throughout his career in politics. Jackie feared for her son's life when Bobby was killed in 1968.

Hard to believe it's been 2 decades. I turned 7 over 2 weeks before he died and my half-brother got married the Saturday after the plane and bodies were found.

Most of them think a man like James Bond (sean connery) is the quintessential male. An alpha male to be precise. JFK was that man and Jnr here herited that legacy. Sad to see this family struck by this so called curse. Maybe the next gen Kennedys will have the chops and take out their enemies who have tormented this family for the last 50 yrs. I asked to have my seat moved a table away from his when I was dining at the south street seaport, only because the press was always flashing at him, I think he overheard my request and gave a sly grin as my request was being honored. He was strikingly handsome and I definitely could see why they hounded him.

He wasn't reckless there is a perpetual misconception that he wasn't qualified to fly at night which is simply not true his flight was perfectly legal however his inexperience left him vulnerable in the conditions he faced

I got a good point to make, the way the word George is written on his magazine, now George is a clothing line for Walmart and the logo is very similar to what he had on his magazine cover.... so it's like I wonder if he hadn't died or eventually the magazine stopped publishing, would Walmart be publishing or making clothes with the name George attached to it?? anybody else ever noticed this or think this. oh an error here, saying george was a monthly, not true it was 2 months at first for the first couple of issues then it picked up and became monthly. Jackie Kennedy was one of the most classy, intelligent, articulate loving wife and mother! In my opinion I think she was the classiest First Lady ever. She had poise, class, grace in all that she had endured. Watching her husbands brains blow out of his head and if you watch the clips of the day President Kennedy was assasinated it looks as if she was trying to grab the big piece of the presidents brain which had blown off and was on the trunk of the limo. And then you aew the secret service man trying to protect her and get her back into the car. Throughout all this horror she remained poised and in control as she knew she was the first lady and the nation was watching. This family had something bad as far as something like a curse. It is sad that President Kennedy was assasinates because he was a great president but did not get a chance to show this country what he could do for it.

I remember the day very well..my husband and I had just got married in may. We went to visit Graceland ..we were on our way back to my aunt's house in Tennessee...out of no where..I started to smell flowers like the ones you smell at a funeral. And I was like omg something happened to some one in the family..I said to my husband..so I called everyone I could think of...but everyone was ok..so I was like ok great but it was still so weird to smell that..so we get home to go sleep..the next morning we wake up to the t.v and it was jfk jr. His wife and sister in law. Missing..I was like omg!!!! And low and behold at about the time that the previous night was when they crashed...I knew something had happened..but my first reaction was it was someone in my family!!! Sorry for such a long story but that has always stuck with me...it was just so weird...
