He was the real deal. John was born into a very public family & yet he tried to forge his own way. Being only 3 when his father was murdered & the other tragedies occurred in the family & yet he grew up to be so polished & well liked in the public eye.
He was a good man.
I still get blurry eyes when i think of him. Really wished I had met him.
He wasn't perfect but close enough.
It's March 2024 it's been over 20 years.
I can't help but wonder what their children would look like what great achievements he would of accomplished in his old age. 🎉😢 Life is so unfair.
John was very respectful of women & others. I wish more men today were like John. I loved John.❤

Faith, this clip has to be a favorite of mine from your many great videos. Larry King was such a phenomenal Interviewer, loved how you put the interview in the background...I think many of us can say where we all were on that tragic day Johns plane went down. He was a Class Act, his Beautiful wife always so polished. Hearing his voice was very moving. Our son attended Brown, same class as John...he would tell us how kind, friendly & humble John was, a truly beautiful soul. Thank you, thoroughly enjoyed this video

Couples have arguments. The difference is if you're a Kennedy the whole world butts in and gossips about it.

She wanted privacy, but never got a chance.
That would be very difficult to do if you married one of the most famous men in the world. She signed up for the fame.

They were two attractive people but toward the last year of their marriage before the tragic plane crash into the Atlantic off Martha’s Vineyard there was a strain in their marriage. John was far more used to the spotlight than Carolyn was. He was a spokesperson of sorts for his family or Senator Ted Kennedy was. Sister Caroline did not like the spotlight of media at all . She’s always remained very private to this day. But John and Carolyn had public arguements in Central Park which was photographed and published and they ( the media photographers camped outside their loft in TriBeCa. It was even reported Carolyn was doing heroin . They separated once also. So the marriage was not in a good place. I adored John Kennedy Jr and was so shocked then devasted when they discovered the remains on the ocean floor. Wish John had chosen to be interred next to his parents at Arlington National Cemetary. Instead they put them back in the very ocean where they perished. Wrong choice.

From what I read John wanted to be buried at sea it was his choice not anyone else. His wishes.
He loved swimming & boating & other water sports. The ocean was his pkaygtound.

All in all, I believe Jackie placed a stumbling block in her son’s life by making him major in politics at college. He wanted to be an actor. Jackie,while on her death bed, supposedly told John to put his name out there. I believe that might’ve worked for him in Hollywood circles. It would’ve taken his life in a totally different trajectory. Jackie thought she was putting John on the fast track to becoming a Senator. John didn’t need law school anymore than Ronald Reagan,to achieve high office.

I agree. They were not a match in the deeper sense. Seems like the game was fun to have two handsome men chasing her before marriage but her ex boyfriend stopped. She made her choice with John but stilled found herself wanting her ex. However, the life with John wasn't so great for her after all. She seemed emotionally immature and not ready for marriage. I don't believe the marriage would have lasted but John had a fear of divorce.
What happened to Friday? Was he/she in the plane or waiting patiently back in New York?
The dog hated going on the plane. Always nervous and jumping. The dog had more sense than John that is for sure. The dog is probably finishing up college now.
He was taken in by his nanny's son and died several years ago

they were about to get a divorce by then. He was living in a hotel, she at their appartment. She had a major cocaine addiction and was having trouble beeing married to one of the most famous man in the world. He didn't want to go into politics but was obliged to because he was born a Kennedy. It was no fairytale. Like his parents marriage was not either.
I read about it I read they use to cheat on each other all the time she use to cheat on him with her cocaine dealer he had flings with an Ex right before he passed away
I'm one of the 😮people who agree with you. I read Christina Haag's, Billy Noonan's and his assistant, Rose Terrenzio's book. I don't believe they would have lasted. John had a fear of divorce but she couldn't handle the life.
