I feel bad for the first lady. She waited since she was a kid to see Jack Sparrow, then some random lady ruined her experience by mocking her and bullying her for her spot in line. I hope she got her picture.
And from what I hear halloween is the only time people can dress up, as a 27 year old who's never gone I run into those kinds of people frequently and its unfortunate but I hope she had a great time anyway the kid will probably only remember her mother arguing with many people that day
As a disabled person myself, I always say 'Having a child is a choice and a privilege, having a disability is not' when seeing mother's steal or belittle our need for adaptations.
I am thinking the same thing. I am disabled as well and it's tricky because people expect me to simply forget my needs and my limitations if there is a child involved. Because they are a child and I am an adult. But it doesn't work that way.
I'm disabled but I'm someone with a disease that can't be seen. I have lupus, plus I've fought leukemia and so far, so good 👍 and then, in 2022 Covid came knocking. My immune system is compromised, so I always wore my mask, but that's when people stopped wearing their masks and made fun of me. My friend wound up finding me with a 104° temperature and my oxygen saturation was between 40-50%. The ER doctor told her that I would have lasted maybe 2 more days at the most if she'd not gotten me to the hospital when she did. I was in the hospital with covid double pneumonia. Now, my lungs are permanently scarred, and I've had 3 major chest infections since 2023. SO, I'm entitled to that space. If I am feeling stronger than usual, I won't take the spot, I leave it open for someone in pain. NOT, for someone who has a pain currently attached to her ass.
I remember meeting tigger for the first time at Disney Paris for my 18th birthday. It was so emotional for me. I full on cried and felt so bad because this poor man/woman in a costume isn’t allowed to stop hugging a crying me until I stop 😂 they were so sweet. They patted my hair and their “handler” simply said in my ear “when they got casted they cried too. They get it” and it made me hold on tighter and laugh. It was honestly the best experience. Tigger was my support as a kid. And I was honoured to meet the person who allowed me to experience that ❤️
That is such a beautiful story. Thank you for sharing. I'm an adult who didn't really experience a lot of joy as a kid and doesn't really have a lot of special experiences, so as an adult I'm constantly seeking that just to have memories to look back on when I'm old and gray. It absolutely breaks my heart when I'm doing something like Disney or I'm meeting a character and I'm an adult, I know there's just a person in there. But it is still super special. And when some entitled mom comes up to me which they have, multiple times, and shoves me out of the way like I'm not even there and then make some snarky comment like they didn't think an adult would be in line for something like this, or something like that it just makes me hurt so bad. Like, I spent my childhood in the hospitals with my sister being ignored and I couldn't say anything because that would make me selfish... So i had to just disappear for years and not ask for anything. I deserve a little magic and joy! I paid my dues.
As a Disney adult, who does not like children, and has gone to Disney 3 times, I can positively say that the children at Disney are not the problem. It is always the PARENTS. ESPECIALLY PARENTS WITH KIDS IN STROLLERS THEY WILL LITERALLY SHOVE THEIR WAY THROUGH!
There is no such thing as Disney adults regardless of what culty society members say. There are 18+ people still going to Disney like they’re 10 who are definitely mentally unstable people who think it’s OK to get pissed off at a bunch of children who are just trying to enjoy their childhoods.
@@Apocketfullofbs Disney is meant for everybody. That’s what Walt made the park for. Also, a lot of Disney adults didn’t have childhoods and are trying to enjoy why they should’ve been able to. Are some problematic? Yes, but there are problematic people everywhere. Especially you, who think its okay to call people you don’t know “mentally unstable” without a medical degree. What it’s not for is parents who think because they have kids means they can break all the rules and disrespect everyone who goes without children. Disney adults may be a problem but so are parents who weaponize their children. Nobody is more special because they decided to let someone knock them up. Fuck them and their kids if they have that mindset.
@@ApocketfullofbsGuess my friend, who is 30+, is mentally unstable to enjoy Disney then. Good to know it’s only for mentally unstable adults if they are not kids. She is from a country that doesn’t even have a Disneyland and never got to go when she was a child. Guess she has to be a mentally unstable person if she still wanted to enjoy her time in Disney.
In my country, it's very common for grandmothers to retire and become full time child carers, but it's expected that the parents will support them fully, especially in a multigenerational household.
Same in my country. I spent summer holidays at one nanna's house, weekends at the other nanna's house and so did my husband from a different country. But guess what, neither his parents or my parents (well mine are in a different country, but they don't even call) are particularly interested to see the kids which is very sad.
This makes sense. Like, everyone working together to make life better. But, the mom here wasn't contributing to caring for the home or, from the diaper remark, even for her child. It's not a grandparents job to do it all. Sure, I'm lucky that I have parents that can help me out financially & with childcare, but I don't use it often because it's my spot in life to do these things for my kids. My parents already raised children for over 30 years, they should be focusing on themselves right now.
Did anyone else catch that she's living rent free with her mom (the grandma) as well as expecting her mom to not only care for but pay all of the items needed to care for her child? If nothing else, I can see that they seem to love each other it's just the daughter is seeing she has a little more money now that she has a promotion and is a bit forgetful of some of the benefits of living rent free with mom.
Single parents are amazing people. My mom was widowed and never remarried, my brother got custody of my nephew when he was eight. You have a good heart.
Right though this guy's bogus claim of "single moms" "all independent women" is bullshit. Plenty of idiot dads out here thinking other people should take on their kids after two dates, no questions asked. Entitlement is equal opportunity!
Ok same! Raised by a single mom. A lot is put on mother's in general. But especially single mom's. I'm getting sick of seeing entitled single mom's making videos showing off how awful their attitudes are. And I'm also sick of seeing videos slamming ALL "independent women" by these so called "high value alpha males" who get off from shitting on women ....
You know, I really needed this video. Lately I’ve been feeling like an inadequate mom for my 4yo and all these entitled moms have proved me otherwise. Shout out to all fellow moms out there! We’re not perfect but we’re doing the best we can.
I don’t know a single inadequate mom who worries about being inadequate. Don’t get me wrong, there are inadequate parents; they just don’t worry about it. Kudos to you for being aware of how you show up for your little one!
Since you are aware that you are feeling a bit of overwhelm, you are really doing fine! Try to identify what three things are the most concerning and then seek a solution. Treat yourself like you would a good friend who needs some kind advice. And ask for help. You got this. I mean, come on, four year olds can be little terrors! The change from cuddly infant to opinionated toddler requires new strategies! Best of luck to you as you navigate this motherhood journey. 🤍
Those are actors, fake cases based on real ones. Feel free to look it up. It's Personal Injury Court: The show claimed to award some of the largest claims in television; however, the cases presented were inspired by actual litigation, with names and details changed. The executive producer claimed that real legal principles are used in the explanations. The participants are paid actors.
My mom was on a flight when a dad with his infant boarded....and cried and cried and cried. My mom offered to help. Father accepted the help. Baby loved my mom and they sat in the seat quietly and happily for most of the flight. My mom was paid in free drinks by the flight staff.
On planes, I always offer to hold fussing babies lol like it fills my heart with joy to settle them, and to give the parents a break. And the parents can rest easy cuz where am I going to go with their kid? It’s all safe
I used to work with a lady who had once worked at Disney land. I was so excited to hear that and she looked at me and said “it was the worst job I had in my entire life”. People can be rabid when their expectations are not met.
We just got back from a trip to Disney. The staff there are amazing. There were multiple times where they exceeded our expectations and we made sure to let them know how appreciated it was. I'm sure they get their share of problems guests though.
My bestie just got back from Disneyland yesterday! Her, her husband and their 9 year old daughter. Her 32 year old little sister. Her mom and stepdad and his grown daughter and her 8 year old daughter.... 4 days, 3 nights and spent much of the time in the hotel room 😮 It was sooooo hot, too expensive, lines waaaaaay too long and everyone was just miserable and tired beyond that first day! She says it's a total waste of money and "they should've paid me, for all the free child care" her daughter and step niece would make friends at breakfast, at stores and in line ... And those parents would just IGNORE their children like "oh good they've made a friend that has an attentive mom, I can take a 20-30 minute break until my kid acts up and I HAVE to be a mom again" 😂😂😂 Wtf?
@@kylaarmstrong-benjamin8066 I think going to Disney world in the summer is the worst idea. I think it’s better to go during the colder seasons so you don’t deal with the heat
In college I knew a couple of people in the hospitality program that did the Disney internship. I had a friend do it as well. All of them talked about how much it sucked.
I knew a woman who had 6 young children (half were a set of triplets, God love her). They were the most well-behaved kids I've ever seen. I'm telling ya, it's the parents who are the problem.
It needs to be taught in school!!! Mandatory, not as an elective. We can't count on new parents having access to the necessary resources. Additionally if all teens/preteens are taught the responsibilities involved, they might give more thought to abstinence/ safe sex. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
Yep. My brother and his wife had 5 kids under the age of 8. Those children were tidy, polite, and well behaved. 100% parents and/or grandparents are at fault.
Good lord, I can't even imagine twins, triplets sound like an absolute nightmare to me. It sounds like she's cracked the code to good parenting, she should write a book.
As a mom of a special needs 6 year old girl(cerebral palsy, non verbal, doesn’t walk) it does make my butt itch seeing parents not teach their teachable kids manners
IKR?!? Mine are special needs, but with hella work on the part of the KIDS, with my help and support, they came to SHINE! One still has some challenges when emotions go high, but gives himself absolutely NO excuses, only a measure of self-forgiveness and ALWAYS looks to learn and DO BETTER.. If single-mom-me and others (both partnered and not) of intense needs kiddos (mines AuDHD, btw) can help them learn, then there really is no excuse for taking normally developing children and turning those poor little humans into miserable monsters! I want to throttle those parents. They are raising those little ones to be MISERABLE. Also, MAJOR PROPS to you Momma! I hope you have support, and do not spend TOO MUCH of your life sleep deprived 🥹🥰🥰
My sister is the same way. But she’s 45 and on verbal, doesn’t walk/talk. It’s sad to see people just shit their kids lives away. ❤ to you and yours , I know it’s not easy mama!
Definitely not a single mom, but my sister was throughout most of my nephew’s growing up. My folks expected her to pay utilities in exchange for not just watching my nephew but feeding, clothing him, taking him to school etc. Luckily, my folks hardly charged her a dime because I too was growing up in the same household - a teenager - and shared that responsibility with my folks. But honestly, it was just a lot of fun. Having a little nephew live with you while in junior high and high school is like having a little brother. My sister and I are 13 years apart, and so, understandably, she had an adult life that I wasn’t a part of. My sister never took advantage of the situation. She’s a very generous person and works incredibly hard to provide a life for herself and my nephew who’s just now becoming an adult in the “real world.” I think what it really comes down to is character.
I have a handicapped placard due to a genetic disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. To simplify it my joints pop in and out at will causing lots of pain and difficulty walking. So I drop off and pick up my grandkids often at school. Idiots constantly park in the handicapped spots to drop off and pick up. So I now park behind them until I'm done dropping them off or picking them up. It still doesn't change their behavior.
Oh, hon... sorry about the EDS... I'm hyperflexive, and have somehow managed to not have EDS, but unfortunately my nephew does. Also a couple friends that suffer with this. The problem is, it isn't always "visible" as a disability, and entitled people try to pull crap claiming "you look fine to [them]". I hope you find a therapy that helps. And, take photos/report/call cops on the idiots who use the accessibility spots. If they are doing it there, they are doing it everywhere. They need to be taught "No."
My dad has a heart condition and he takes my niece to and from school and alomost always someone without anykind of handicap placard parks in the spots, or people decide to park in front of them just off the curb to go pick up or drop off kids. Certain people just absolutely suck
Also an EDS zebra. I have to have rids put back into place literally weekly, my knees and hip always want to slip out of place too and my ankles give out a least twice a week sometimes resulting in a bad fall. Didn’t know you could get a handicap parking thing for EDS, I’m gonna check it out, being able to use on high pain days would be helpful.
@@larry01902 there was a period on reddit when people were posting their single mom datign stories. I was very surprised how common it was for the moms to order a bunch of to go food at the end of the meal for their kids and expect their date to pay for it.
@@larry01902I’ve seen similar videos where the woman had multiple kids she expected meals for and even one where she brought two friends with her and expected him to pay for all of them. 🤦🏻♂️ I’m glad Miss Charlotte introduced me to the term “delulu” cuz it is a perfect descriptor.
There’s a difference between looking after on a regular basis, your grandchild, and being fully responsible for your grandbaby, so that your daughter can still have a life. As a mother of two, who raise them on my own, I would never have expected my parents in their golden years to give up their lives, because I decided to have children. Come on ladies.
4:18 "You always wanted a grandchild didn't you" I felt that. I felt those expectation and pressures. Maybe that woman who said that felt it too. If grandmother did not pressure for "GRANDBABIES NOWWWW" then she wouldn't be a single mother. Then maybe she wouldn't be struggling. Maybe in another timeline/another life, she would've been a successful CEO with a doctorate and childless. Who knows, what we do know is that Grandmother pushed for grandbabies and is now saying "where's my baby sitting money". Don't force grandbabies if you don't want to take care of grandbabies.
@@Surfer669 I felt the pressure from grandma in that video as well. Better, I have my own experience with my mum, when she came into my room when I was 21-22, and asked me when I want to have kids. Mind you, at this point in my life I was single, a virgin, and planning to move out of my country (which I did). Luckily I have a sensible mum and I explained her that asking the same question from my older brother who was in a long term relationship, about to get engaged would make a lot more sense. But not all mothers are sensible, some are really grandbaby crazy. This grandmother said it herself: "I was hoping you would be married by the time you have a baby." So Grandma had a solid idea for the daughter, and daughter wasn't tough enough to tell her that her plans were different from that. She gave in to her Mum's wishes, or happened to get pregnant, and thought "Oh well, that's what my Mother was always asking for, a grandchild, so I will keep the baby", and now it's a source of conflict. Lesson to learn: let your kids make their own decisions, even if it doesn't give you the grandchildren you wanted.
My mother has been singing in my head since I turned 20 to give her a grandchild that didn't pressure me to have a child before I became financially stable lol
Regardless whether she pressured her or not there HER kids SHE popped them out there HER responsibility SO SHE SHOULD BE TAKING CARE OF HER KIDS AND NOT DUMPING THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE KIDS SHE PUSHED OUT SHE NEED TO TAKE CARE OF HER KIDS SHE IS NOT ENTITLED TO FREE DAYCARE HER MOTHER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR HER DAUGHTER'S KIDS
@zoeylunakaname8282 I can't tell if you typing in all CAPS is a sign of yelling or letting your own frustrations out on us (strangers on the internet). What you believe is what everyone believes. What are your cultural values are not everyone's cultural values. How you were raised was not how everyone else is raised.
Well, if we accept her mother do not have to support her daughter, her daugther will not have to support her mother when her mother becames incapable of taking care of herself or her husband, or if she is in problems. If grandma want to go this way, she can't expect inconditional support from her child later and no person will be allowed to judge the daughter as a "bad daugther". You will have what you sow.
@@FireFang97 well, then the mother can not expect live with them of having care of them if she is in a bad situation, oh, wait, only a weekend if her daugther OFFERS it. By the way, that shows how much the grandma cares of his grandchild. Love conditioned to money. Because she ask for money: she can just say no, i can not take care of him. But she just want money.
@@JustIsTime890I disagree. Children are expensive. It’s not the grandmas responsibility, financially or personally, to raise her grandchild. Those are expenses she didn’t expect or plan for. Most people are living paycheck to paycheck, especially if they’re retired or on social security. The mother does have a personal and financial responsibility for the child, she created and conceived her. Simple. You can just have a couple kids and drop them at your parents, and expect them to drop everything and find a was to pay for them. The daughter is using her mother for free care. Just because you love someone, does not make the cost of caring for them disappear.
@@Hortonheardahoe well, disagree all you want. Law say otherwisw. And as I told, when you are in need then do not expect your children to help you. Planning does not means all is going to be as you want. Not expectation of something because is not in your plans does not take away responsabilities. And sorry, is not only the mother who has responsibility here. The father have also and he is not there. I don't think that was planned. And if the mother can't doing all alone is the family who must take care of that child. You are forgetting the child is inocent and has rigths. The child didn't ask to be born.
My beloved parents always said if we had kids they were ours to raise and they were NOT babysitters but grandparents. I totally respect that. They raised their kids - zero obligation to raise ours
The girl telling the story needed to have her facts straight though, 1) you can't just dress up and go to the parks because it's Halloween, you can ONLY dress up as an adult and go to the parks during the Halloween Party which is a special event during spooky season and 2) Jack isn't a special event character, he is out every day at Magic Kingdom in Adventureland for meet and greet opportunities. If she has been to Disney World as many times as she claims she would have known all of that information. I get that she was only going in for 1 night and I do not think she should give up her spot just because kids, all I'm saying is maybe put out valid truthful information rather than omitting stuff to make yourself look better and validate your position.
I don't think that standing in line to meet a random person wearing a costume is something to strive for in adulthood. She isn't meeting Johnny Depp. She is meeting a person the park hired to dress up as the character. That is something that should definitely be left for the kids. I don't see how an adult could find it fun to wait in a long line for essentially nothing.
While I was going through my divorce I moved in with my mom, she was retired and home paid for. I worked and she babysat for me, I paid her utilities and bought all the food. She never wanted rent and didn't even want me to pay that much but I insisted. Miss u mom thanks for all the love.
You and your mom sound like lovely people. Judging by your last sentence, it sounds like she may have passed on? If that's the case, I'm sorry for your loss. Have a blessed day. ❤
Your mom sounds like a lovely person. God bless her! However, this daughter was paying for nothing and her expectations of having her mother pay for everything is wrong. YOU paid the utilities and food to which can only assume your mom was extremely appreciative. Your relationship with your mom sounds very special but different from this daughter in the video. Our parents care for us all there living days and even after. For this daughter to take advantage of the situation is wrong and certainly not teaching her child responsibility.
As a former teacher, entitled parents and or entitled parents educating their kids to be entitled is the worst. Every educator has stories that are close to nightmare encounters with entitlement. One fellow teacher received a note with a needle and thread asking that she sew the button on her child’s coat as the mother“ didn’t have time”. Another first year teacher who was dealing with a young “ crotch goblin” who was a brat and received disciplinary actions from not just the classroom, but music, gym class and elsewhere in the school, her father approached her primary teacher and remark, “ There wouldn’t be a problem if you treated my daughter like the princess that she is.” Now, considering all the other issues in education today, teachers do not need to be creating entitled young adults. My favorite parents and kids were the ones who looked out for others, were generous, thoughtful and did not take advantage of others. And though my teaching career began in 1989, I was in several schools where it seemed to come into fashion where moms would come into the school in pajamas or the pajama bottoms. I am a rather liberal person, but putting a little effort coming into your child’s school just seems appropriate. And don’t get me started on a child being on free breakfast and lunch and a parent coming in with a fresh tattoo. Parents: your child comes first for food, love , clothing and shelter, but not an attitude of entitlement, which means sacrifice. And people wonder why the U.S. need more educators?
"If you treated my daughter like the princess that she is"?! OMG, that child is going to grow up to be a massively spoilt, entitled woman who thinks the world owes her everything. That father is doing more harm than good.
I have taught, I have worked in a hospital and helped in community service in which parents brought their toddlers to play with them. They were all bad, I hated working on the maternity ward because some of those women were ridiculously entitled and in the community group, the parents would dress their children in their best clothes, whinge about paint and glitter (its part of learning, don't put your children in their best clothes) and sit in a big group, gossiping and eating toast (which we provided) while we ran round after their children. It used to annoy me and it was so clique-y too.
On top of that, the wages and salaries teachers receive (at least in the US) are sad. My dad makes more per hour in an office job than I do with my salary, and I have a bachelor's degree in education.
Not just schools. My landlord told me a story that happened years ago. The place he worked for would give back around Christmas. They sent him to this family's apartment to bring by holiday food. He peeks inside & sees a new stereo, giant TV, a guitar & amplifier. Seeing that disgusted him. There are literally people starving & can't feed themselves, yet that family either mooched the system or misused the money they were given for food.
I have a positive Disney mom story. My husband and I were watching the Star Wars exhibit where Darth Vader fights it out with Luke when a lady tapped me on the shoulder and asked if her kd could get ahead of us to be able to see. We said yes and she asked the next people but they said no. Fair enough so she tried to hold her kid up to see but she was too short, so my husband offered to hold the kid up. He watched the whole show with the kid on his shoulders❤️
I married my second husband when I had a 8 year old and an 11 year old (one with a disability that requires lots of care) and he had a 5 year old and a two year old. Long story short - I fell in love with him through phone calls and text messages (totally conned me about what sort of person he truly was) and was dumb and married him a week after meeting in real life. He was a terrible single father. He owed so much back child support that the first year we filed taxes jointly, my tax return was all taken to pay some of it. He often would expect me to take care of his kids when he had them and would just like disappear for hours on end while I watched them. The last time this happened his 5 yr old looked at me and said “my Dad is not a nice person, is he?” Well my ex’s ex-wife got in a car accident and their son died before we ever saw them again. I’ll never forget how the last time we had him my asshole Ex wasn’t even there and his son saw his Dad’s true character. Then everything my ex did after was all about, “oh no my son died poor me….” And it was like, you didn’t even want to be around him when he was alive you complete waste of a human being. (I could go on and on about the complete shit of a person my ex was but yeah.)
I would have told the flight attendant and had cps get invovled. I doubt that's the first time something like that happened and definitely wasn't the last. What kind of parent...??? Poor kid, I hope nothing happens to them.
How can you sleep.... While a complete and total stranger has your baby? WTF? I couldn't even nap while my husband had our baby😂😂😂 So concerned baby will need something and anyone else won't know what to do for him 😂😂😂
He'll to the no! What if it needed a diaper change? Was she going to let a stranger do it? That could have went wrong on so many ways!! I couldn't do that, u sleep when your baby sleeps lol that's how I copied!! Crazy bitch lmao😂😂😂
I'm so heartened reading all the comments from mothers agreeing that this kind of behaviour is delulu. As a single person I'm so sick of being told I "need" to accommodate a mother and her child(ren) just because she's a mother. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to all you awesome moms who agree this behaviour is abhorrent; I salute you! 💖
I can relate to the girl on the plane who was left to entertain someone else’s baby. Several years ago, I had a roommate I was also best friends with and she was a single mom. I didn’t have kids then and I don’t have kids now, by choice, but I do think they’re cute (as long as I can return them to their parents after interacting with them). My roommate’s son was about 4 and he didn’t live with us full time, he lived with my roommates’ parents. She did go over there a lot and help out but it’s not like she dealt with him 24 hours a day by herself. I started to notice that every time she’d bring him to the apt, she’d pretend to play on the floor with us and then suddenly say she’d be right back and close my bedroom door. So I’d continue playing cars or legos or whatever with the kid and then eventually I’d look at the time and realize she’s been gone for almost 2 hours. So I’d go out to the living area to check on her and without fail, every time, she’d be asleep on the couch. I didn’t mind playing with the kid, he was adorable, but it’s kinda funny bc she wasn’t even technically a full time caretaker of him and still never missed a chance to have me babysit so she could nap lol
Charlotte being confused about slang is the cutest thing ever. For anyone else unaware, "crotch goblin" literally just means "child"; doesn't have to be an unruly brat at all
Hmmm I respectfully disagree…goblins are not positive imaginary creatures so if it’s a good child I suppose the term would be crotch unicorn and not crotch goblin.

My only statement to the entitled single mother: when my parents went on their first date, my mom didn’t tell him she had kids. He came to the house, saw my older brother, and changed the plans for the whole night and took them both out to see a movie and get dinner. She’d had a sitter and everything lined up, but he volunteered to accommodate the fact that she was a single mother. Not all men would do that, but it should never be expected.
It generally isn't? Most single parents I know don't even let the guys they date know they have kids because there are creeps out there who target single moms.
I became disabled after the birth of my child. My mum looks after my son when I'm in hospital and of course I give her anything I have for doing so! She's an angel and I wouldn't be here without her.
I was divorced and had 4 children, 1-4-7-7 and when I met my current husband he knew I had children. He actually took me to places where my children could go and if he planned a date just for us he offered to pay for a sitter. We dated a couple of years. He was a keeper and we were married 40+ years when he passed. ❤
this comment made me genuinely sad. When i saw the past tense i was like ''oh no did they get divorced'' and then saw that he passed. I hope you're doing well ❤
40 years ago was a different story, men were actually acting like men instead of weeping about being emasculated by women. Today's men hate feminism only until it's time to pay the bills, traditional men had no problem with that. Feminism is all horrible but when it's time to split the bill, when it's time to split the custody, split the household rent and bills, sleep around with women with zero responsiblity, they have those luxuries due to feminism. Feminism has caused more damage to women than anything, only it's smart enough to make women think it's their friend. And now we have feminism supporting men changing in women's locker rooms.

I love how queue jumpers always turn it around, as if it's you who is in the wrong. Happened to me a couple of days ago. Unbelievably, instead of telling this person there was a queue, the staff member apologised to the queue jumper because the rest of us were angry at her. WTF!
Unfortunately, after working customer service, I have seen that or similar way too many times. It usually comes down to the manager/supervisor, and many of them do not have the training, or the personality to stand up to those people. If it isn't one of those, usually it's some poor sap who isn't paid enough to deal with it and is so used to being walked over by customers because of upper management policy that they could double as an entry mat. I've unfortunately been that person. So they do everything to accommodate the entitled person and unfortunately they, and their children learn that they can get away with it. At one job I got depressed enough that money was no longer a motivator for work because for 8 hrs a day it was a constant stream of entitled people screaming at me for discounts. The irony is that when I had people who just treated me with basic human decency, I happily gave them discounts ( we had a small percentage we could do without management's approval for whoever we wanted) they didn't ask for because I was so grateful to not be getting screamed, yelled, or glared at for having to follow the procedures of my job. The manager never stood up for us employees, then was taken aback when we didn't have her back when dealing with a bad customer. Leaving there was the best decision, my only regret was not doing it sooner.
I would have had to leave a bad review for that shop. A couple of you in the line sharing your experience in the reviews and the shop will have to do something about their staff or culture.
Not a regular queue but my county fair has the free concerts and you can line up beforehand. HOWEVER, line means nothing because once you’re in the arena, it’s a free for all. Went one year with a friend and we got close to the stage and this group of girls came up behind us and threw an absolute tantrum that we “cut them in line.”
I had something like this happen to me at a restaurant very recently. My mom and I stopped at our fave restaurant for lunch after my heart dr appt. I'm disabled and walk with a cane, my mom is 76. We were standing right in front of the hostess station because we were next in line to be seated. The hostess was gone seating 2 tables that were before us. In comes some grandpa, maybe a couple years older than my mom. He walks around us and to the side of the station. When the hostess comes back, she glances at him, then looks at us and asks how many? He steps right up against my mom crowding her and says 2. I knew my mom wouldn't say anything, it's just who she is. But me? I'm not like my mom. I immediately respond with "Excuse me grandpa, but we were here long before you. Your age affords you respect, but not entitlement and certainly not over two women who were here first, one of whom is disabled." He had the nerve to say he was there first. I responded "Well, you weren't inside and the parking lot doesn't count". The hostess then stepped in and said I'm sorry sir, but they were here before you. I'll be back to seat you". I made sure to tell the hostess on the way to the table about the 2 couples who came in before him. I hate when people think they are more entitled to something that is rightfully yours.
@Eris-_ Actually, yes. At a busy restaurant with a hostess, it's first come, first served. He cut the line, not just in front of us, but 2 other groups. All of which had been waiting patiently to be seated. He needed to wait his turn like everyone else. Not be a complete jerk and practically push my 76 yr old mother out of his way. He's lucky my cane didn't get swung at his head. He was a rich asshole who thought he was better than the old woman and her disabled daughter. If he had simply been polite and said something like like I'm pressed for time, would you mind if I be seated next, we would have let him. So yes, that spot was rightfully ours. You wait your damn turn. Why don't you find another channel troll. Or is your life that miserable that you have to come on here and try to make others miserable too? 🤡
@@Eris-_a place in the queue is "rightfully yours" no matter how small the queue is. Respect for rules and others around starts from such small things.
@@Eris-_in most places in western countries it is a societal norm to wait patiently in line in the order in which you arrived to that line. So quit butting in!
As a mom! Disney adults can be both extremes! Some have offered me their spot in line because they liked my kids excitement and some have pushed my kid for moving to the front to get a better view of the parade. My kid just turned 3 so there’s that!
I love the way our European friends tell stories. That one Irish(?) lady had me in tears. “I was 22 and shy at the time… if it were now, I’d have poked it awake and said *Oi! This is YOUR baby* “ 😂😂😂
Holy cannoli! Some of these stories! I took my 5 year old twins to Disney for the first time this summer, and we waited in line...A LOT. We talked about the importance of waiting our turn. I played games with them. I pulled out all of my momma tricks to help them navigate waiting their turn and being patient, while also trying to respect others waiting in line. It wasn't easy, but it was my responsibility as a parent.
I applaud you! You likely taught your kids more life lessons in that line then any entitled parent taught their own kids in 18 years. Thank you for raising kind, decent, responsible kids who will thrive as adults!
I love waiting in line. As an adult it is the only time the only thing that is demanded of me is to stand still and be quiet. No one wants me to get them a drink no one's asking me to cook them food, I just stand there and wait quietly with my own thoughts. I love a long line
I used to work at the W.I.C office (for those who don’t know it for women infant and children you would have to qualify to get free formula, milk, eggs, cheese etc.) I’ve have seen a LOT of entitled moms. Two people that jumped in my head first was…… 1) A young girl comes in with a attitude complaining the her baby don’t have any more formula and she won’t get her benefits for another week. I explained to her that WIC is a supplemental program we’re here to help feed your baby not take care of your baby. She then slammed her hand on the counter and in that same hand was a pack of Newport cigarettes. So I said well instead of buying cigarettes you could’ve brought your baby some formula with that money. My supervisor always gave me the people who complained because I will tell them about their self but kindly. So kindly that whatever I said probably didn’t hit them at that moment but thinks about it later lol. I’m not putting down people who smoke cigarettes because I used to as well but if I were in her situation my baby formula came first. 2) Another lady came in on a Monday we issue her benefits for her first month no problem. By Wednesday she came in complaining that her baby needs a special kid of formula so I tell her to bring a doctors note come back and we’ll switch the formula. She gets the note and comes back the same day. The formula she needs for the baby was something we never heard and we don’t have a code for it so we were unable to issue it that day. My supervisor said come back the next morning and she will find out how to get the milk. Keep in mind from day 1 she had an attitude. She comes in the next afternoon at around 12:05pm (our lunch break is 12-1pm) she comes to the counter yelling that she called corporate and they said that “BY LAW” we have to give her the formula I said oh really okay. Well “BY LAW” we’re on lunch come back at 1. Ever since that day we named her the “BY LAW LADY”
Yeah I agree the smokes can wait baby needs formula. That’s just insane to me that she bought smokes vs good for her child. Is there a male version of wic ?
@@Carla-kb1xd yes a male can get WIC for their child up to the age of 5 but nothing for him personally. The mother gets WIC from pregnancy until the baby is born. Once the baby comes if she’s breastfeeding she stays on until she stops but if she’s not breastfeeding then the mom gets cut off once the baby becomes 1yr old. I haven’t worked there for a few years so things may have changed since 2009
Yikes. The entitlement of folks really grind my gears. I truly boggles my mind the amount of people that don’t understand the word “supplemental”. If you can’t feed your kid, DONT HAVE KIDS. WIC is a great program, I used it for the first 6 months of both of my boys life to get similac allimentum , then we swapped to the orange similac, which back then wic didn’t/couldn’t carry.. SO I BOUGHT IT. That’s what you do, you figure it out. It’s literally only for a year that your baby drinks formula. I cut corners, cut my spending to afford it. People are just way too comfortable taking handouts.
8:12 OK but I guarantee you this mother always tells the story about the woman who took care of her baby on a flight when she was completely exhausted. 😭🤣 she probably really genuinely think you did her the biggest favor on earth.
As a young single mother I worked as much as possible whilst living with just my child. When my child turned 4 my parents asked me to move back in with them. The reason we’re so I could seek regular employment and they could spend time with their, then, only grandchild. Once I gained employment I gave my parents a third of my income. They asked for less but I felt they were due more.
I've been to Disneyland in Tokyo this summer and it's amazing how a respectful culture affects even the little things. For the parade, people start waiting early BUT everyone sits on the floor during it. So even when it's full of people and families everybody, adults and kids, gets to enjoy it and be happy because there's an unobstructed view of the whole space. I've been to Disneyland in both Paris and Tokyo a couple of times and the atmosphere and the people in the latter one really made everything feel more magical.
I can agree. I have been to Paris, California and Tokyo Disneyland. And the most fun I had in Tokio becaus the people where so much more respectful of other peoples space and time.
This sounds great in theory, but also I have trouble getting on and off the ground for medical reasons. I wonder if after the parade was over some nice people would help get me up again. 😂
My mom had 3 daughters. As soon as they started getting married, mom would announce "don't expect me to be a babysitter. " she loved her grandkids, and spent good time with all, but she wanted to make it clear NOT TO ASSUME SHE WOULD DROP EVERYTHING TO BABYSIT. Right on, mom. I miss her so much. She was born in 1925 BTW.
Yes, you are right. I will tell my parents to "not expect me I will take care of you when the day that you can't do it for yourselves comes". They will have to manage theirs problems like I will have to manage with mines. That is today's family ❤.
There's a lady I know who goes to socials frequently... and had an infant. Her solution was to let someone get caught by the baby's cuteness and leave them with the baby for the whole social. I fell victim to this for months until a better friend took my hand and pulled me away to explain.
You know, I was raised by a single mother who stopped dating when I was young because she decided that men weren't worth her time, and she was literally so right
I love your channel Charlotte and your comments are well on point. As a parent it is important to teach children respect & manners coz it goes a long way in life ❤
Ran into a few unhinged moms on planes. I always pay extra for my window seat and had a few get upset that I wouldn't switch with them to accommodate. One even got upset I wouldn't let their kid sit on my lap so they could look out of the window. I'm a mom and I've never felt entitled to other people going out of their way for me.
My first flight ever some lady stole my window seat because she wanted to put her head on the window. I paid for a window seat so I can look out the window. I should have complained but my social anxiety was very extreme at that time.
I was on a flight and this kid behind me kept kicking the back of my seat. Asked the mother to make her kid stop. She completely ignored me. Spoke with flight attendant who made the mother and child move. We had window seats. As they were moving she called me an asshole then spat on me. I declined to press charges. I kept thinking what example is she setting for this kid.
I have not stopped binging your videos since I discovered your channel a couple of weeks ago. Thanks to you "Delulu" and "petty" are my new fav words. Thank you for continuing to create content on a daily basis. I can imagine its not easy. Love to you and your editors too
Entitled people will use any reason to have their way -she’s a child - she “young” - her job title - her husbands job title - she’s pregnant - she has a baby - she has kids - she’s just an old lady
5:15 What? No. That’s what grandmothers are for. Minding the grandchild every now and again. To an extent of course. But my granny would feel insulted if I offered to pay her
Single mom for 7 years, and NEVER did I ask a date to pay for babysitting. Also, I paid my mom the same as I would have paid a day care center. Honestly, she gave my daughter more attention and love than day care ever could. ❤️
I was at the lawyers office with my sister and while I was in the waiting area, there was a woman there with her baby. I LOVE children, so I was smiling and waving at the baby. The mother walked over to me and just handed me her kid, without saying a word. She then went to the other side of the waiting area, sat down, started drinking her coffee, pulled out her cell phone and proceeded to make a phone call, while ignoring me and her kid for 20 minutes.
Not the same but kinda? I work with kids(preschool educator) and when my nieces and nephews were little I was always assigned, without my consent, the kids. And I had my own baby! “Oh you’re good with kids, here” like no? I don’t like when I’m expected rather than asked. Don’t assume. That’s absolutely wild what that mom did!! I have 3 and could never!!
That 12 year old has probably been embarrassed by his mother multiple times already! He's probably already a more functioning member of society than his mother. 🙂
He's probably already in a spot in line and is facepalming as his mother got back muttering something about he is 12 and shouldn't have to wait so long
I'm almost willing to bet that she was the one who didn't want to wait and was just using her kid as an excuse. Her kid was 12, not 4. I can't imagine a 12-year-old being that much of a baby about waiting in line.
My first flight I had my daughter in my lap. She dropped her stuffed hippo and he slid under the seats like 5 rows down.. she started fretting. Once I told my seat mate why she was agitated he yelled"the baby is missing her stuffed hippo!!! Look people!!" Lol Howie the hippo was returned 15 seconds later and she was knocked out once she had him.
Yea grandma deserves more monetarily. My son and i lived with my mom for a couple years (birth to 3) and i bent over backwards to make sure she was always all good if she babysat him for me when i pulled double shifts or had class. Never left her needing to buy extra food, diapers or supplies. She was doing me the greatest favor and i recognized it. Shes a saint and id never give her less than what she deserves ❤
As someone who has dated numerous single dads, they ABSOLUTELY think the world is out there to save them. A week into dating they're expecting you to look after their kids, pick them up from school, get irritable if you're not at their beck and call or unwilling to come over and "help around the house" The vast majority don't want to be active parents in their kids' lives and will rush you into a commitment because they're desperate to find someone to dump they're parental responsibilities on. If single moms are entitled, single dads are PARASITES. If you're a young single girl and you run into a single dad, RUN. They aren't looking for a partner, they're looking for an unpaid nanny.
Oh yeah this absolutely happens. Just because of where we are at as a society with gender roles. Woman = likes children = takes care of the children. Simple equation. So when some of these single dads find you they slot you into that role immediately, after all it’s not their role right?
@@Ilikefrogs.. Stay the fuck away from all men honestly. It's so funny to me- I was out with a girlfriend today- 1 of 2 women I know who is still with the father of her children- & he works full-time & they have a house- & he still treats her like shit 😆😆😆. I'm 41, not having kids, & every single year it's more obvious that it's the best fucking choice. AND I have plenty of kids in my life, bc drop-kick dad's leave so much slack to be picked up... I love kids, but it's great having no shit-bitch baby-daddy in my life. NEVER DO IT.
Also that “modern women” is such a dog whistle for someone who is misogynistic, he will refuse to see the single dads who are just as entitled as some single mothers. From what I know, the good single parents don’t reveal they have kids till the 3rd date for the safety of themselves and their kids! People out here are crazy sometimes!
The wildest entitled parent story I have is when I was on a double-decker tour bus in a foreign country. I'm sitting on the top level in the first seats after you climb up the stairs. A mom-dad and their like 2-3 year old kid sit at the very back. The stairs are closed off with a metal rope so people don't fall down them, but it's at like the height of my hips, so it's not going to prevent any children from falling down. They are also super steep, narrow, and curved. For some reason, as the bus starts driving, the parents just let their kid walk up and down the aisle of the bus by himself. He doesn't even walk super well at his age. They're like not even really paying too much attention to him, as they hadn't been for a lot of the tour. It freaks me out. It's super dangerous because if the bus were to stop suddenly or get into an accident, this kid would go flying. So I'm looking at photos I had taken on my DSLR camera as we drive, but I'm keeping my eye on this kid anytime he comes around to the front area of the bus, just in case. Wouldn't you know it, the bus makes a sudden turn, and the kid starts to fall right down into the stairs. The mom screams. I drop my camera on the ground, reach out and grab the kid's arm right before he falls, and swing him back into the aisle. He lands on his butt, looking super stunned. I look back and the parents don't come up to grab him, they're just sitting there staring. I'm not really sure what to do, so I stand the kid back up and give him a gentle push to walk back down the aisle to his parents. I watch him walk basically the whole way back, because I'm still worried he might fall again. As he gets back to his parents, I look at them and they look at me and the mom goes "WHAT? Do you NEED something!?" Like wow, my goodness lady, I'm pretty sure I just saved your child's life, and damaged my camera in the process, not at all anything you might want to thank someone for.
In response to 'babysitting on a flight' story: LOL I was on a transatlantic flight with my almost 1 year old daughter. Also on this flight was a whole crew of Navy peeps. They were going over to Germany to get on a ship and bring it back to Canada. They were all fairly young guys, many of them with small children whom they would not see for several weeks. So, they kept asking me if I needed a break or a smoke (yes, there was still smoking in the back of the plane). AND, they helped with stroller and whatnot when we got off the flight. They were amazing and I was totally grateful. I mean... it's not like they can steal my baby... we're all stuck in a metal tube.
@@CharlotteDobre I loves yous too Ms. Dobre. Thank you for another hilarious video, and reinforcing my choice to be childless. You have a stupendous day and congrats to you and Mike. PS in Calgary my friends were staying at a giant house at the edge of the city so no Golden Bell for me. However, NEXT TIME on a solo trip I am hitting it up. Thanks again for the recommendation.
Charlotte - there is a big difference between a grandmother being happy to look after the child sometimes and being a full time unpaid daycare. I'm a grandmother - love spending time with our little guy. But I raised my kids - I put in the time (as a single mother myself). I'm not up for raising yours too. I'm happy to help out my son and DIL - but they are also responsible, appreciative, and don't overload the requests.
So when I was doing a ride along with a police officer, we got a call to do a lock out on a car. (Lady locked her keys in the car.) We get to this elementary school, during the summer so there were just a few teachers there, and the woman that was locked out was in a handicapped spot. Up until this point, this cop had been the most mellow guy. Hadn’t pulled anyone over, even when he had reason to, mediated an argument between roommates that was escalating with the calmest demeanor ever, and had been telling me how people are just seeing him on their worst day most of the time so he always tries to give them a break. Seriously, an amazing guy. Anyway, we get there and the woman comes running out of the school saying “Oh my gosh, thank you so much!” He looks at her plates, looks on her windshield, and just kind of nods his head. He then goes and unlocks her car, tells her to hold on one second he has something she needs to sign. Which I knew was weird because he hadn’t had any of the other lockouts we did sign anything. He comes back and says, “Do you realize you’re parked in the handicap spot?” She kind of just goes yeah, and making excuses saying she was just dropping something off that she was donating to her daughters teacher….blah blah blah. HE THEN GAVE HER A TICKET. Told her there was never an excuse and we drove away. Turns out his daughter uses a handicapped placard, and he will never let anyone that doesn’t have a placard go without a ticket.
Ugh, the mother of the 12YO cutting in line brought back memories for me. We were staying at a hotel that had a Santa Claus at Christmas time. My son was around 4 or 5 at the time. There were kids that were playing with the luggage carts in a really unsafe way, rolling them into each other, pushing each other around on them, etc. My son wanted to join in, and I told him no. He wanted to know why the other kids could. I said, "Well, they're lucky. They don't have your Mom." LOL I still think that was one of my more clever comebacks as a parent. ;)
I did hair for many years and once in a while I got moms that made me want to ask them where it all went wrong. One time in particular a woman's 9 year old son, who did not have special needs, was kicking me and spitting on me while his mother played on her phone, right next to me!! When I asked him finally to please stop because he was hurting me, she looked up from her phone and explained how she had been working with him on expressing himself and then went back to looking at her phone! I actually finished the kid's cut and didn't say anything more to her. I was just so shocked by how completely ridiculous some parents could actually be.
As a mom, I would berate another mom for ever acting like any of these moms. Kids need to learn patience and they need to learn they are not going to always get their way and be catered to.
It made me mad seeing that mother using the handicapped spot to drop off her daughter at school. I know people who really are disabled & have the right to those spots. She's teaching her daughter to say screw the law & do whatever she wants.
My mom was a single mother and a full time teacher. When we first moved when I was 3, she would bring me with her to the school because she didnt have a baby sitter at the time. Sure, this is about dating and she never dated after she and my dad divorced, but she always made sure I was looked after growing up without forcing people to look after me. She has said that I am her responsibility, not the world, she decided to have me, not the world.
I can’t believe I’ve been watching Charlotte’s videos for years and this is my first time commenting! Her videos always bring a joy to my day 😊 she’s extremely witty and never hurts or offends anyone with her commentaries.
My mother and I saved up and went to Disney World, for my 40th birthday, and we were really excited. We got to our spot an hour before the parade. Mom was in a scooter. We waited for an hour, happy in our spots, right at the line, and literally a minute before the parade started, a couple of grown men walked up, and stood RIGHT IN FRONT OF US, standing directly ON THE LINE. They were tall. We are both short, AND my mother was sitting on a scooter. We waited an hour for a parade we could barely see, because two rude GROWN UP MEN, decided to stand in front of us, just before the parade started. I wanted to scream at them, but I didn't, because I knew it would upset my mother, even more, and I was absolutely certain these cretins would not move. But, DANG! I was pissed!
My partner and I absolutely adore watching you spill the tea, Charlotte! Thanks for adding some fairy potatoes to your roster. We watch all the time. Great video!
The babysitting one I seen another one where this woman left her kids at her sister’s and never came back! She decided she didn’t want them anymore and left em for her sister to raise. She actually said she didn’t want them anymore!! 😡 The judge is like don’t you think you should pay child support? She was like no I don’t have the money 🤦🏻♀️ Judge is like well you gonna pay child support 😂
I have been a single mother, I would NEVER expect anyone to pay for a babysitter or anything for MY child. What I would expect is enough notice to arrange childcare and consideration that i couldn't just drop everything to go somewhere.
My parents worked a lot while I was young and my grandma did watch us a lot but they also paid to own the cottage next to our house and our grandma lived there. The arrangement was they pay her home expenses and she babysits when needed. My grandma enjoyed it because we had a good relationship and she was being repayed.
I went to Disneyland last year during the Oggie Boogie Bash for Halloween. I waited around an hour to see Bruno, so that woman with her kids is not special. Everyone has to wait, no matter if they have kids or are single. Btw, would absolutely recommend going for it, so much fun, special characters, trick or treating, costumes, so awesome!!!!!❤
As a childfree by choice woman, I can confirm that I don't hate kids. I have 2 biological niblings and my hubby has a nephew and my best friend has a daughter. There are kids in my life that I love with all my heart and would do anything for. I just don't want to experience it for myself (and luckily, neither does hubby).
honestly you're not missing out on much, if you feel like wanting a kid, you can volunteer at a local church and then you're swiftly reminded how good it feels to leave those little buggers and have a good night's sleep! LOL !!! i also love kids and im very good with em but haven't been lucky in concieving, so im enjoying sleeping in all day :D hehe
@@charlesming7875 thank you! I do feel very lucky to have them, they are two incredible individuals and I love them dearly. I wish that you will one day experience it too
Well. I think is the best for you. For me, I enjoy my own kids. It is not the same experience at all having others kids that your own kids. And I am happy to have that experience in my life. It is different experience but now I have it, I can't imagine another life. For me it would be empty without them 😍. But I understand the fact that thr same this experience is fantastic for me doesn't means that can be horrible for other persons.
As a single mom, I knew that it wasn't my parents problem to watch my son constantly. As a grandma, I see it even better. I've already raised mine, no I won't watch the child daily.
Adult/Parent here. I live 2 hours from Orlando and used to visit Disney World regularly. I think Disney is only the "Happiest place on Earth" as long as you go without your kids.
I was a single mother (not by my choice) and I made sure that their was someone to watch my child when I would go out. My mom also wanted me to pay her to watch my child, which I refused to do because my mom lived with me and paid all of her bills while going to school. There are more children dropped off and abandoned at Disneyland than almost any other place in America
Your comment about the kids being abandoned made me extremely sad. I can't even imagine how that must feel for the child, expecting magic and fun only to find themselves alone 😢
The woman with the babysitting mom should realize that not all grandmothers will do this. I had twins and my mom wouldn't even keep them for an overnight, let alone watch them while I went to work. Count your blessings. Day care is expensive.
The most I have got was a few times my Dad watched my son, longest being around is 3- 3.5 hours less than 6 times and he's almost 5. An overnight sounds like Bliss!!!!
I thought it interesting that the daughter said "I can't do this on my own." about 20 seconds after Grandma told her she should have been married before having a kid.
Wow, your mom is heartless. I don't have kids yet but I know my mom would babysit my kids everytime I would need her to without asking to pay her anything. She's the type who would even ask me to bring them to her to spend time with her. I'm very lucky to have her.
Not heartless, just she has a life. I'm sure she loved visiting and being with her grandkids. The point is, not to ASSUME Granny will be your free babysitter.
My ex mother in law wouldn't come three blocks to meet her new grandchild...but instead, she'd send me dick pics on Facebook of men she was absolutely paying to screw.
As a mother who was single, I had so many guys get upset because I wouldn't just up and leave my then young child to go on a date with them that hour or that day. I would tell them that since I had a kid, I needed to plan it so a couple days in advance or on a weekend was perfect. They never went for that and would call me a w word for not abandoning my kid whenever they wanted. So yes, I started saying unless you're paying for a babysitter for today/tonight, another day will be fine so I can plan out getting one myself.
Hopefully that was enough for you to deny a date with them altogether. For them to get upset and call you names, that’s enough of a red flag not to go on that date with them at all
Agreed! Also realistically, if a man is dating a single mom, this is an interview for fatherhood. Or that's how I always saw it, when I was in that position. Moms and babies are a package deal & sometimes you gotta pay to play!
The last time I went to Disneyland, it was my first time back after 10 years of not being able to go so ofc I was really excited but unfortunately I kept noticing so many parents in the parks who thought they were entitled to special access just because they had their kids. Shoving in lines, arguing with people, one parent even tried to grab a custom pair of Mickey ears out of the hands of this teenage girl because they were the last ones in stock in that particular style and she screamed that her four year old "needed them". I even had my own encounter with an EM when she shoved past me and ran over my foot with her giant stroller than snapped at me for "getting in HER way" (I was off to the side walking, not even in the middle of any street or pathway😑)
As a mother of 4 who has 2 debilitating illnesses (full body fibromyalgia and lupus that is unfortunately ending me) my parents never baby sit, I've not had a night in my house without my kids(and during the day) for almost 2 years, that was the last time they had their grandkids.... they don't call, visit or anything except if I call or late on birthdays and Christmas. They also live 15 mins away..... 😮
We took a Disney vacation . Absolutely the worst vacation of my life. Standing in long lines. Everything you do you have to stand in a long line. I stood in line for 35 minutes to use the bathroom. Biggest waste of money of my life .
I'd like to know who named it to happiest place on earth. It was miserable the heat was unbearable. The prices of everything is ridiculous. And the wait times to do anything is just outrageous
My husband and I took a trip to Disney World several years ago and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. it was just the 2 of us. We were in line for a ride and there was a couple with a small kid (too young to be taking them to Disney in my opinion as they won't remember any of it). The kid was fussing and crying and the parents were miserable. There was another couple around our ages behind them and we all looked at each other and smiled knowing we were having a much better time.
For the record, I have never expected a man to pay for a sitter. However, they often offer, so I'm not saying no to a night out with good company and getting to feel human. 😂 Iykyk!
My ex was raised by one. Both her sons ruined their relationships and have no connections to their kids. Narcissists are skilled in sending their sh*t storm down the line. I disconnected and it was the best thing I ever did.
My mother used me and my sister as a bargaining chip to get money from other family members, and after a while they stopped asking to see us so I grew up thinking none of my extended family loved me
Not me, but my cousin 😢 I'm 12 years older than my baby cousin so my aunt decided I would be her babysitter! I loved it ❤ But my mom let me know I was being taken advantage of.... But we're family and I really loved spending time with my little cousin. Sometimes I had to cancel plans and I wasn't paid but.... That's my baby girl ❤
Yeah it grinds my gears when I overhear women with 4 children that she made sure each of them had a different " Baby Daddy " a term I really hate ... when her friend asked why she said " My best friend has 2 children with the same guy and her child support is less than it would be with 2 different dads because it is based on income " ... so her idea was to have a child by 4 different men so she gets the maximum amount from each father sent for her child support ... after hearing the amount I was like holy crap that's a lot .. she then says yeah I don't have to work because I get child support, food stamps, wic, energy assistance and free housing, she also receives the free Thanksgiving meal and her family is top on the list when churches and salvation army "adopts" the family for Christmas and brings them what the children want .. oh and the mom too of course ... This is the crap I hate .. not once did she say anything nice to her children while flapping her gums , she was rude and yelled at them, smacked their bottoms a few times ... they are not her babies they are her meal ticket ....
Good way to say it, "her meal tickets." I worked with a woman whose cousin was like this. She basically kept having kids to keep her lights on. I don't know exactly how it worked, but she lived in a government issued apartment & I guess if you have kids under two living there, you can't cut the electricity.
@@addie-eileenpaige6460 Yes they get what is called Energy Assistance ... this pays it for them .. there are too many people that use this as their " Job " which of course keeps them being supported by the Government ... one friend even signed for for college classes .. got a Pell Grant and another grant not sure on the name but if her tuition was say 1800 she still was able to take out 5600 in loans ... after she was paid she dropped the classes but still was able to keep the money ... and then " Shocker " she just didnt pay the loan and with no job could not be garnished ...
3:40 I don’t like the woman saying she’s entitled to free babysitting but I don’t like the guy commentating on it either, why does she have to be the one example? Why does this mean across the board single dads are ALWAYS better? We don’t have to make assumptions about everyone suddenly. Icky
Because he's lk/hk misogynistic, she's a good enough example for him to use to make the argument that all women are "bad" and that there is a good reason to hate, instead of simply singling her out for her own behavior/actions without sh ..ing on women entirely, he was pretty much making it a point that it's women in general.
The looks on her face today are priceless!!! She's so invested in every video like they are actually there telling her this im person. Also, you looking extra gorgeous today with your wavey hair ad beautiful earnings!! My partner and I adore the shit out of you!
That's crazy the mom on the plane. She's just perfectly fine with a complete stranger looking after her baby?!?!? That's wild. I could NEVER. I'm a mother and my children don't even go with my family members.
I feel bad for the first lady. She waited since she was a kid to see Jack Sparrow, then some random lady ruined her experience by mocking her and bullying her for her spot in line. I hope she got her picture.
And from what I hear halloween is the only time people can dress up, as a 27 year old who's never gone I run into those kinds of people frequently and its unfortunate but I hope she had a great time anyway the kid will probably only remember her mother arguing with many people that day
Charlotte hit the nail on the head by saying those kids weren't even thought about when those movies came out
As a disabled person myself, I always say 'Having a child is a choice and a privilege, having a disability is not' when seeing mother's steal or belittle our need for adaptations.
Agreed.
I am thinking the same thing. I am disabled as well and it's tricky because people expect me to simply forget my needs and my limitations if there is a child involved. Because they are a child and I am an adult. But it doesn't work that way.
Having a baby doesn't trump the needs of others.
😅 I love that! May I put it in my arsenal for the same thing, please?
As a mother and grandmother, I would never expect someone to give up their place in line for them. Having kids does not make someone special.
The only time I give up my spot for a mom in line is to the bathroom I got three under three so I get the need for a restroom break immediately.
But most moms think it does
If I had a dollar for every time a mom ask me to let their kid sit in my sit the window I would have 56 dollars.
❤ OP, Society and I are sincerely grateful for your sensibilities ❤
I really, really mean this 😊
I have a phrase that works "Your rights end at the end of your arm and mine ( or someone else's) begin".
Disney IS for kids. YOU are the problem. Grow up
LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK!!👏👏
There is no such thing as Disney adults regardless of what culty society members say.
Exactly, it is not grandma's job to pay for and watch your children 24/7 without some form of repayment to be made.
Well that makes sense and would be very beneficial for the entire family! ❤
My mom would still be in charge tho😂😂😂
I’m a single mom and I could never. The world doesn’t owe us we owe our kids
I agree; however you're putting your kids first so your potential partner should have that quality.
I agree with that as well.
As a mom of a 4yo all I can say is 'you are not alone' - wow life escalated quickly
Right?
Honestly, just the fact you worry about being a bad mom means you’re prob a VERY GOOD MOM ❤
I love that female judge. She is the new judge Judy. She treats everyone with a dose of a reality check regardless of race or gender.
I cracked up at "everything the light touches is our kingdom" used as an example of what entitled mothers teach their kids! 🤣
That's exactly how society should work. Your mum is a good woman. ❤️
@@MommaB74 Bless you!!!
I would always buy packs of ear plugs to give to the people around us should my baby cry.

4 days, 3 nights and spent much of the time in the hotel room 😮
It was sooooo hot, too expensive, lines waaaaaay too long and everyone was just miserable and tired beyond that first day!
She says it's a total waste of money and "they should've paid me, for all the free child care" her daughter and step niece would make friends at breakfast, at stores and in line ... And those parents would just IGNORE their children like "oh good they've made a friend that has an attentive mom, I can take a 20-30 minute break until my kid acts up and I HAVE to be a mom again" 😂😂😂
Wtf?

I think going to Disney world in the summer is the worst idea. I think it’s better to go during the colder seasons so you don’t deal with the heat
@@argrette right?
It's just not worth the heat stroke and sunburns!
That's absolutely anywhere with a 3 hour line in 95+ heat!
I bore seven and mine were well behaved. I took them with me, If I couldn’t take them, I didn’t go.
Absolutely right!
I’m sorry about the EDS. And having to deal with people taking the handicapped spots. I have EDS myself and know what it’s like.
Asking a man to pay for the babysitter, so he can then pay to take you out on a date is some real thought logic
I've seen a video where a single mom wanted the date to buy a 3rd meal that she could bring home in a doggie bag for her kid.
Not just ask but expect/demand.
At this point, they need to get used to being single. Because they are GUARANTEEING it.
Regardless whether she pressured her or not there HER kids SHE popped them out there HER responsibility
SO SHE SHOULD BE TAKING CARE OF HER KIDS AND NOT DUMPING THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE KIDS SHE PUSHED OUT SHE NEED TO TAKE CARE OF HER KIDS SHE IS NOT ENTITLED TO FREE DAYCARE HER MOTHER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR HER DAUGHTER'S KIDS
You’re absolutely right. The grandmother deserves child support. Having to care is one thing, LIVING AND BEING SOLE CARETAKER, pay up sis.
You will have what you sow.
it's one thing to OFFER to watch the kids while your at school but it's another to expect her to be a free babysitter
Disney mom missed a great opportunity to show her kids that you can keep having fun all up into adulthood. 🤦🏽♀️
@@Ash-83I think she said DisneyLand. Maybe it’s different there
Disney girl needs to go on real holidays, not kid’s ones.
@@nicolad8822 Disney Land can be fun for both. Plus, there are so many kids who didn't get to go and decided to go as adults.
I also do not understand why some parents go in pyjamas?! I think it’s so so tacky.
Wow that woman is a saint babysitting an infant for an entire flight!! Hell to the nooo!!
I would have sat that baby on their mother and snapped that mask "Morning ma'am, this is your kid, not mine"
I would have told the flight attendant and had cps get invovled. I doubt that's the first time something like that happened and definitely wasn't the last. What kind of parent...??? Poor kid, I hope nothing happens to them.
How can you sleep.... While a complete and total stranger has your baby?
WTF?
I couldn't even nap while my husband had our baby😂😂😂
So concerned baby will need something and anyone else won't know what to do for him 😂😂😂
He'll to the no!

That mother holding their child responsible for treating them like an unpaid nanny is perfection.
@@Elizabeth-rq1vi you can think the term sucks, but that’s not how it works lol you can’t just decide as one person to change the established meaning of a word or term

Your dad sounds awesome. But like you said, this is not the expectation, it's just a happy surprise. Hope you and your family stay happy and well.
that's a keeper right there.
It generally isn't? Most single parents I know don't even let the guys they date know they have kids because there are creeps out there who target single moms.
@@MonsterPrincessLala this was a different time. They met in 1982, before true crime and “everyone is suspect” was prevalent.
I would never do that, honestly. Your dad is a very special person with a big heart.

The only time any of my daughters were allowed to get to the front of the line was when they were 2-4 years old and waiting in line for the ladies restroom. I never asked, all the women just instinctively knew to let the little person get to the toilet. Thank you Ladies!
Me and my 5 y/o son literally just took a trip to Disneyland and you would not imagine how many entitled line jumpers and just plain rude people are there. I had to “excuse me!” A few times. 😂
Ugh as a mother I apologize for all delusional mothers who think just cause you had a kid makes you entitled to shit.
No ma’am! You do NOT get to take on any of their blame while you’re out here doing things right! The fault/blames/shame/ridicule/consequences are solely their own. You keep rocking motherhood!

Don't worry, we know most mothers aren't like this.
There is about the same percentage of entitled people in every demographic
I'm a shop assistant, that's insane. No jumping allowed in my queue.
I would have just left and never come back.
Rightfully yours? A seat? Get over yourself

This is a good momma right here 🙈 we need more moms like this!!!!
Two people that jumped in my head first was……
1) A young girl comes in with a attitude complaining the her baby don’t have any more formula and she won’t get her benefits for another week.
I had to use WIC when I had my son. Y’all were lifesavers during that time 💜💜💜
@@redglassesart I was on wic worker there too it definitely helps
8:12 OK but I guarantee you this mother always tells the story about the woman who took care of her baby on a flight when she was completely exhausted. 😭🤣 she probably really genuinely think you did her the biggest favor on earth.
I agree but maybe ask first next time not everyone will be so willing
Is it just America that don't respect queues?
@@tonycowin No.

The thought of someone shoving their kid in my lap makes me feel sickly, I don't do kids and that sounds awful
I was on a flight and this kid behind me kept kicking the back of my seat. Asked the mother to make her kid stop. She completely ignored me. It blows my mind people are paying grandparents to watch kids.
Oh no ma'am. You are probably nicer than I am. Her kid would promptly be deposited back on her lap.
Not the same but kinda? I work with kids(preschool educator) and when my nieces and nephews were little I was always assigned, without my consent, the kids. And I had my own baby! “Oh you’re good with kids, here” like no? I don’t like when I’m expected rather than asked. Don’t assume.

Next level entitled moms are insane... and showing it off on TikTok? Chaotic! TY Charlotte for your incredible reaction!
The solution is easy. Don't date single dads. I don't date single moms. I have no desire to be a stepfather.

As someone who was a single mother for a long time... I could never imagine asking him to pay for my child care 😂😂😂😂
She wasn’t even parked in the handicap spot, she was parked on the handicap ramp. 😂
Airplane mom pulled a boss level move and got a nap out of it. 😂🤣
That's fair!
Yeah, if somebody tried that stunt with me, I'd have told the kids "Today was the day that you ALMOST met Captain Jack Sparrow".
@@Kittyxoxo yep, I enjoy my sleep and when the kiddos get to rowdy I can just give them back to their parents. It's perfect!
How lucky you have niblings.
That last part doesn't surprise me. "Happiest place on earth" doesn't equate to safest place on earth. I'm sure it's a predator's heaven.
As you should. If you want to date a single mother then you need to be realistic about your expectations.
It's easier to just not date as a mom. It's so much easier to do it alone and not be judged.
But no as a mother I never expect people to give me or my children any special treatment.....
8:35 nah my finger going up that womans nose and shes taking her kid back lmao
We took a Disney vacation . Absolutely the worst vacation of my life. Standing in long lines. Everything you do you have to stand in a long line. I stood in line for 35 minutes to use the bathroom. Biggest waste of money of my life .
I agree with you took the family to Disney everyone had a miserable time. Standing in line all day is not fun
You got that right pay a fortune to stand in lines all day. Please explain to me how is that the happiest place on earth
I'd like to know who named it to happiest place on earth. It was miserable the heat was unbearable. The prices of everything is ridiculous. And the wait times to do anything is just outrageous
If you went to WDW, never go during summer. It gets way too hot. As for bathrooms, don’t use the ones in fantasyland. Those are the most crowded.
@@mindyschocolate you got that right middle of summer it's unbearable
Thank you for being a consistent ray of sunshine and laughter in my life, Charlotte ❤️❤️ We love you!
😂 Iykyk!
Where my entitled momma babies at? It really makes you jaded to the world when you were brought into it by a narcissist.
My ex was raised by one. Both her sons ruined their relationships and have no connections to their kids. Narcissists are skilled in sending their sh*t storm down the line. I disconnected and it was the best thing I ever did.
My mother used me and my sister as a bargaining chip to get money from other family members, and after a while they stopped asking to see us so I grew up thinking none of my extended family loved me
Not me, but my cousin 😢
I'm 12 years older than my baby cousin so my aunt decided I would be her babysitter!
I loved it ❤
But my mom let me know I was being taken advantage of....
I know multiple women who have done that. 4 kids, 4 different dads and they live very well with her not needing to work.
Good way to say it, "her meal tickets."
I worked with a woman whose cousin was like this.
I can't even begin to describe how disgusted I am by this. Awful, awful person.
