I have installed the previous firmware you posted. That unlocks fluid and has all the goodies. Should I follow this guide? I have some ringing problems only and I am trying to solve them. Is this firmware better at input shapers? Is it going to give something more?
this FW is more polished then the last one indeed, but the ringing issue is more of a hardware based then software based problem, but this FW surely does help to decrease the ringing problem.
Thanks for the video. If you enable root access and run the scripts shown in this video, does the lidar and Ai camera still work?
yes it works no problem, but only through creality slicer
@@aim6mac Not true u have to send the gcode to the printer on put it on usb in order to get the AI calibration every time nothing to do with Creality Slicer

I got the same problem with my k1 max. Looks like it fried the stepper motor. X axis in my case.
@@thomazff i'm sure if you contact support they will surely replace whatever is 'fried'
@@aim6mac probably not. I’m from Brazil, and bought mine from AliExpress. But they shipped me a used/test machine. After dispute I got my money back and they didn’t ask for the printer back. So it is more like I’m on my own with this.
I am not able to install clipper by using a Script. So if somebody else have endless download from script menu - you can go and try official version of installing Root access with fluid. It was the only way that helped me In a two week long struggle.
so you gained Root acces from Printers UI first , then SSH'd to the K1 and then followed all the steps and couldn't install Fluidd , is that what u are saying?
You understood me correct. Basically I was following the instruction step by step. At the end I reinstalled that secure shell many times and I was trying to use the script many times with deleting all the installation and reinstall it back again (and i was doing so on all the possible firmware (that is permited)for the printer itself.). So basically in the process itself I was either getting too long download with unsuccessful installation or... I was being able to install only the first step with some errors inside of it, and then it wasn't given me the possibility to install anything else further. Sometimes I was not being able to successfully install the script through the secure shell (Putty, MobaXtherm) and I checked on the internet - just couple other people in this issue. It's very rare and so far and I have not found a solution@@aim6mac
