That was the last thing I expected when I Googled this hymn (which I didn't know until the other day when our assistant pastor sang it) And they sang it with such fervor! This song is new to me. I came to know only at the time when jesus Christ came on this earth and after he went back to heaven. The angels sung their song to glorified the holy king. Angels of JESUS don't act like the "elder brother" who never transgressed Thy Commandment at any time--but being sinless, they are in the same position as the son who never left home) that has never sinned...Thank you for dying for me on Calvary's Cross"...in that while we were yet sinners (enemies of God) CHRIST died for us..." The fact that we've received Grace, something that Sinless Angels never needed, should not make us feel SUPERIOR to them in any way! We are told in Early Writings that there will be places close to JESUS CHRIST that only the 144,000 are permitted to enter, but she never said that ransomed, redeemed, saved human being will go off in a corner apart from the sinless Angels who protected and helped them while on earth, and sing in an "elite club" or "elite choir" that Angels cannot join. That is never taught anywhere in the Bible or SOP That I know of. JESUS said of those in Everlasting Life that we will be raised by HIM--to be equal to the Angels,--Not Superior to them!! Yes. It's true that the 144,000 will have a closer relationship with JESUS than other sinners who aren't one of them, Rev 14 "...they Follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth... " but God loves every human being Redeemed exactly the same amount and all are equally important to Him. It's just that some people are closer to God than others because THEY Love God more than others!! JESUS said of the two forgiven different degrees of debt, "Which of them do you suppose will Love Him (The Master) most?" The response was "I suppose that him whom HE forgave the most" JESUS replied "Thou hast rightly judged" Lord, please help me and every other RUclips reader to see ourselves individually as "he/she who you have forgiven the most" in JESUS Name and for His sake.
