Different from the retail situation yesterday, McDonald's or KFC does not sell alcohol. I thought there would be many of them in Indonesia, almost in every city. Many Indonesians are inspired, and many people sell street food imitating American-style fried chicken.
Not only McD in Indonesia that has a special taste characteristic with various variations, KFC too. But actually we have our own brand of this kind of fast food, called Richeese Factory which has a perfect taste with melting cheese on fried chicken and more spicy. Many foreigners who tried that were amazed by the taste. Indonesian foods have its own spiciness level bro..😅

Its coz Indonesian primary food is Rice, thats why the secondary food must have strong flavour to balance the flavour. If u eat the chicken alone without rice it maybe too salty for western/europe tounge

Used to be you could get a Big Mac combo meal for a little over $3......delivered. Now all the fast food prices have shot up, following the trend worldwide. At this price point you can eat real food in a nice restaurant. Here you can see he got barely anything for 77k. That's already shopping mall resto price for a meal. Also for that price in street food 3 people can eat spicy chicken and rice.

Absolute nonsense. KFC in Indonesia is terrible compared to America. All the good stuff was replaced with cheap, tasteless items. McDonald's is the same taste everywhere, they just have some menu variations in each country.

Usually McD Indonesia has some strange menu item featured, like a "Sakura" burger with a pink bun or a "prosperity burger" which is something like a Salisbury steak patty on a long bun and raw onions around Chinese New Year. Now they only offer a "flavor set" which is basically just loaded fries.
