  • Hello and welcome to another vlog! We've been making the most of this beautiful weather and have done a lot of garden work in the past few days. I’m currently working on building a small herb garden in my mother's beautiful garden. Spring always brings more energy and motivation to implement better habits and routines into my life, such as taking care of my body and working towards my goals. I'm making almond milk, a healthy breakfast, wild garlic pesto and natural homemade cream deodorant. Enjoy!

    🌷Wild Garlic Pesto
    ◦ big handful of wild garlic leaves
    ◦ 70g of pine nuts, slightly toasted
    ◦ 40-50g of extra virgin olive oil
    ◦ ¼ tsp of salt
    ◦ 2 tbsp of lemon juice
    Blend all together and enjoy!
    🌷Natural Cream Deodorant (2x50ml)
    ◦ 55g of shea butter
    ◦ 40g of potato starch (or some other starch)
    ◦ 4g of coconut oil
    ◦ 4g of liquid oil such as grapeseed oil
    ◦ 1 tsp of baking soda
    ◦ 30 drops of essential oils (for example: 5 drops of lavender, 10 drops of ylang-ylang, and 15 drops of lemon)
Melt the shea butter with coconut oil, and then let it cool down until half-solid. Then, add everything else and mix well. Add the deodorant mixture to the jars and enjoy!

I was very healed this time as well. I'm glad that the scenery is similar to Hokkaido in Japan where I live 😊 Thank you.

    Sandra, how are you?
Estonia is also a beautiful place.
While watching your video, I soothe my longing for that place. The two places I was in were Tallinn and Pernu, but they were really, really beautiful places.
You've recreated the frame garden... I'm smiling while watching your video.
Lovely little helpers... we wish you happiness. Always walk on the flowery path... I support you, the beautiful you.I hope the plants grow well~~

This is so beautiful. I love that you have your little helpers. This type of video motivates me to start my own garden, but I'm always scared that it will be too much work and I won't be able to handle it. So far I have helped organizations in my town to maintain their gardens and it's fun but I think it's a lot of work to keep one myself. Also, thanks for the natural deodorant recipe. I'll make that one.

Thank you! 💛 Well, I just started with two little herb beds, which don't require too much work perhaps. I've enjoyed working in the garden though. I come from a small town, so a lot of people are growing food and selling their organic produce here, so I'm counting on it for now, until I have my own garden one day 🌻

    Hallo liebe Sandra,

Hi! Thank you so much!💛 I was thinking of planting marigolds as well, but let's see how much room I will have 😊 Will the cats damage the catnip somehow, and should I protect it? Greetings!! 🙂

    • @UtaZ.234
      @UtaZ.234 Месяц назад +1

Yes, the cats have damaged my catnip badly over the last two years. That's why I would think about protecting it.
The marigold not only looks beautiful, but is edible and improves the quality of the soil. But be careful: the snails love it...
      Have a nice week 🤗

Oh, I see. I'll have to rethink where I plant my catnip then. Yes, I've heard that snails like marigolds! Must be good stuff then😅 Thank you, you've been so helpful!

how do you manage to live between 2 countries? that must be hard, or at least would be hard for me... which one would you like to settle in if its not a secret? (ofc you don't have to choose :)))

It is a bit hard, I admit, even though Estonia and Finland are very close to each other and it takes a couple of hours by ferry to get from one capital city to another. But I'm not working full-time yet, so I have a bit more time to travel. I love both countries, and I don't mind living in either one, really. I just dream of my own little home with a garden. 💛🙂

@@idyllineverydaylife same with a house and a garden! I wish one day I will be able to visit Estonia and Finland because we're so close to each other. One day when the world stops going mad and the borders open again...
