    Really enjoyed your video - the first one I have watched. Liked watching all that you do (it all interested me). I don't know how to slow down the bits you had sped up (as I think I would have found that interesting too - especially the dried flower bouquets). Beautiful displays of drying flowers in your home - what a great idea. Have subscribed. Thank you for taking the time to name all the different flowers - I learned a lot. Very cute dog too! Best wishes from Lottie in England.

      Thanks Lottie! Glad you could learn some new flowers. The sped up bits are time lapse video and there's no way to slow them. It can be time consuming to film at regular speed so I often do time lapse so I can finish projects quickly!

      I didn't! But thank you! I think I have an old blog on flower drying on substack. I'll edit the description to include it for those who are interested.

    Every time I watch your videos I want to do all the things! Didn't the wool felt when you boiled it? And did you hang the flowers with paper clips? Thank you so much! Janet

    • @twigandsnip
      @twigandsnip  24 дня назад

      Hi Janet! I don't boil the dye for just that reason. Typically I keep the pot around 145F and try not to agitate the wool too much!
      I just use rubber bands around the flowers and paper clips unfolded for hangers since that's the easiest. However I really have to keep the string taut to prevent everything sagging together in the middle. The more airflow the better!

    You certainly have a nice resource where you can harvest wild plants to dry!! How is your sauerkraut coming along? Blessings.

    Did you attach a hook at end of bundles if flowers to hand them?

    • @twigandsnip
      @twigandsnip  14 дней назад

      I use paper clips as little hooks!
