Bless your soul 🙏 solved mine. Thank you! It was the ICP 10amp fuse for me and the old fuse looked ok. I changed it and dash came right back when I started my truck. Thanks.

I've had this problem before but it was usually clear up. Not mine is taking forever. I ran out of gas several times

Bcm can't be the culprit because you can run this cluster from a bench test harness with the grounds and positives.
Did you ever get it figured out?

The problem is likely with one of the gauges in the cluster. The owner of an 08 CTS posted about a blinking cluster following a battery swap, or jump start and corrected the problem when he replaced the odometer alone. Another CTS owner with the same problem removed and disassembled the cluster and on install after reassembly, the problem was solved, so it appears to be an issue of some sort that originates in the cluster.

Hey guys, my car was doing the same thing 2007 Escalade after replacing the battery, no lights on my gauges. I used my remote start on my key fob and then enter the car. Turned on the key and gauges are now working. Hope this helps.

The research I've done on the Cadillac forums they talk about software that's available for updating for the ICP that's why once it's updated You shouldn't have that problem anymore unfortunately mine was disconnected due to a airbag recall soo now I'm in the same boat as before I need to update the software to the update

After all this checking and ground checking in all this bullshit it turned out to be the gauges itself so in my you tuber expert opinion replaced your gauge cluster

Have the same problem. I am to change the cluster.
Problem: My Escalade ESV 2008 is Platinum edition and all the clusters I see on eBay are sold with this notation:
      W/O Platinum edition
Sellers are not helpful to tell me if those are compatible or not and only one replied: Probably not. Buy a cluster With Platinum edition!
DO you know anything in that regard? Will the "With Out" platinum edition work the basic functions for me and only not show certain functions or what? Any help is appreciated.

@@samsen3965 Did changing the cluster fix the issue? Thanks.

@@nicholastaylor1693 Well unfortunately too complicated to answer with a word.
I finally ordered a platinum edition cluster. Never opened it.
First, after playing with fuse #46 (If I remember correctly) and as per recommendations on Caddy's forum, as the car is on and off, my original cluster start to work. So I was so happy. In next few days and again when battery was weak due to long time being idle and parked, again blinking problem started.
This time, whatever I could do and several days of leaving battery disconnected or play with fuse box didn't do a good...
Gone for the cluster but can't find it!! and though wife doesn't remember to have toss it out, she is not very sure... So I think I must buy another one and for form there.
If you ask me what have I done to see cars data in absent of cluster, first of all I don't use this car much. Then I have added a HUD display with same blue white color LED that gives me all the important data, if I drive the car.
Wish me luck to find another platinum cluster or I may try a cheap W/o platinum this time to see what happens and if it worked, I'll let you know.
Btw what have you done with yours and hope you have had a better ending than me.

@@samsen3965 I found the problem it's the plug on the abs unit under the car. Don't ask me what it has to do with the cluster but unplug is clean it with electric cleaner then but electric grease plug it back in. Problem solved let me know if this helps

@@nicholastaylor1693 Interesting. Could you please be more specific about which under-car ABS unit.
Are you talking of the ABS plug that is under the driver seat, to the left (near the central console, left side)? If that, I checked and it was unplugged! My baseball cap, placed there, must have done the disconnection. Anyways cleaned, sprayed with ether (Electrical cleaning spray), and put it back together.
      Unfortunately no effect.
I did all the tricks with fuse #46, on, off, on when the engine running, and still no. Not working.
Or is it that you are referring to the metallic out of the car, ABS unit? Please give more info.
