    I agree with you. I currently have the Fold 5. I've used Pixels and OnePlus, but I always find my way back to Samsung. Sammy has the best display, best Android ecosystem ( earbuds, watch, tablets,) most feature and the best trade-in incentives in the game. I'm happy with my Fold 5, as I was with my S22 Ultra before, my Note 20 Ultra before that, my Note 10 before that, and well, you get where I'm going or at least where I've been😂😅

    unfortunately, Samsung stayed in their comfort zone for a long time, 1+ open made it very difficult to convince me to go back to Samsung fold.

      The video came off as heavily biased towards Samsung since you didn’t mention a single area where the Pixel Fold or OnePlus outperform the Z Fold. I get that you're a long-time Samsung user, as am I, but we can't ignore that other brands take better photos in many respects, not just dynamic range. Plus, the Pixel Fold's outer screen is far more practical compared to the Z Fold’s narrow and tight display.
      It feels like Samsung has grown too comfortable and slow in making meaningful improvements to the Z Fold series. Aside from a brighter screen and CPU/GPU upgrades in the Z Fold 5, there’s little that justifies the high price. While I love the feel of the Z Fold 5, I can’t stand its almost useless outer screen. Honestly, if it weren’t for my SmartTags, I’d switch to the Pixel Fold without hesitation.

      True, and if it wasn't for the high ratio of OnePlus Open breaking, I would have owned one.

    If somebody wanna stay on the same fold from Samsung, give you a great advice.
    Wait every five years to see a little bit changes on the fold It's not a big changes if someone wants to have it better. Fold, try OnePlus, open Google Pixel. Any other folds are better than the Samsung. The cover screen is too small only if you're into a small screen Then that's fine for you people But honestly, 6 years and the only thing looks different is the shape. The camera looks the same, so the Samsung line. It's not that great crease in the scream Look less visible on the oneplus fold Not on the samsung fold six😅😅

    Agreeing but Samsung has really gotten lazy and it pees me off. They absolutely can make their devices with better cameras, wider screens, better speakers, and integrated SPEN that works on the inner and outer displays, and an IR blaster but they choose not to.

    Why stay with Samsung apart from software ?? I can't think of another reason not to move ?? I used to be a Samsung fanboy but there's a whole lot better out there including mine as in OnePlus open. There's also Vivo, Xiaomi oppo and honor who are now releasing globally that offer far better experiences imho

      @@HemiLeo392 fair enough I get you on that but Samsung are over charging big time on these folds considering the price of the Chinese competition. 45w charging is slow compared to these companies. OnePlus open 67w charging, OnePlus 12 100w. Xiaomi can do 120w I believe. So the speeds are nite and day believe me

    I'm growing bored of the Galaxy Fold phones. Not much has changed after 5 years of the Fold Series. This year, they go boxy, but not for the U.S. market? Probably with no S-Pen slot, same, cheap cameras, 45W charging. I look forward to being proven wrong... Samsung!

    100. I like the good lock and I kinda miss it. I found workarounds fof 95% of the features. But I also like the easy stylus availability. However I'm tired of Samsung being complacent on the hardware side of things and milking the customers without offering any significant improvements so I jumped ship to one plus and absolutely love it. I won't buy the new Samsung until I after I see what oneplus has to offer next-generation.

    I switched from fold 4 to OnePlus open, when Samsung stops being lazy maybe I'll go back. The crease is the same as generation 1.... It's an eye soar, the lack of premium cameras when you pay top money is crazy, they played it safe and the competition outshined them in every part.

    Build quality on Samsung? Well Samsung makes all the screens for the other phones that are listening to there customers unlike Samsung look at the vivo mix fold 3 pro with Samsung screens that has fantastic software fuck Samsung I'm done getting ripped off you are not going to tell me you can't beat it

  • @TheElder_
    @TheElder_ 6 месяцев назад

    Open seems more premium, better than fold 5, the crease is virtually non existent, it is lighter and it has more premium specs and wider base. The fold 5 has s23 specs. But hopefully with ultra will come. Only thing is software doesn't have a lot of customization, but that's not OnePlus fault, it will have competition when the fold 6 and mi mix fold 4 comes out. But only for a month or two.

  • @kavinab6629

    I traded my fold 4 for the pixel fold and i lasted 3 months. Pixel lacks many software features that the samsung has. You cannot even change your icon pack on the pixel without a 3rd party launcher and they dont play nice on folables. also the pixel fold is heavy!! Im now back on a fold 5 and will not trade unless the fold 6 is a massive upgrade

    • @Maxx134a
      @Maxx134a 3 месяца назад

      This is a primary example of Samsung using icon candy software to get their customers hooked on their UI. There are no productivity features. Only the candy icon features that sets Samsung apart. Samsung is months behind. Google pixel running Android 15 beta is smoother than all the phones with more AI integration. Pixel fold just works smoother and better than any other phone because it's running Android 15. Unfortunately, you sold yours before you could experience it due to Google 's incredibly slow and premature rolling out of the pixel fold.

    This video is outdated. The only reason why I prefer the fold 5 over the one plus open or the pixel fold, is because pixel fold was first gen, and one plus open was not durable. There would be dust trapped under the open and breaking it. The fold 5 was the best foldable... barely and only because of that. Pixel 9 pro fold will be second generation and open 2 will probably fix that durability flaw. The only thing samsung needed to do was release the fold 6 pro and they will not do that. It's over now for samsung unless the fold 7 really delivers

    • @Super-c00n
      @Super-c00n 6 месяцев назад +1

      Nah, it's not over for Samsung, even if the Z Fold 6 is basically just a rebranded Z Fold 5. Why? Because more people simply trust the Samsung brand more than they trust the others. The Samsung ecosystem, software experience, etc. Also, Samsung's products are well-made, top quality, and super premium.

    Love your videos, but I have to disagree on this one. I sold my Z fold5 and bought the Honor Magic V2 global version, and I love it so much (e.g., super thin, good 5000mah battery, great build quality with the titanium hinge, stylus support and MagicOS is surprisingly user friendly!). The multitasking features is insane on the V2, which is why I opted it over the Oppo Find N3/OnePlus Open. While I liked the Z fold5's S Pen case, there were sooooooo many things that I didn't like about the Z fold5 in general (e.g., narrow outer screen, average 4400mah battery, bulky, heavy, thick, poor build quality especially the aluminium frame and hinge, and screen issues).
    My Z fold5 randomly developed a black dot in the inner screen, and I have NEVER dropped it. Samsung really needs to improve their screens' durability through quality control, as you mentioned in your previous video about customers having issues lately. I'm glad I got rid of it for a good resale value, and reinvested it in a proper foldable :) never looking back!

    I'm sure by the way of this video this is your only folding device you ever owned. You can't compare other devices if you don't have them in your hand ok.
    Samsung is OK but definitely not the best. They let other companies come in an blow them out the water. Samsung is on its 6 generation and still hasn't given the customers what they want in many ways.

      There is this fantasy which is false that Samsung has the best software when it is actually the opposite. Their software is candy, colored and bloated to offer many visual options which do nothing in terms of performance or usability. Meanwhile, phones like Google pixels have AI integration and much more smoother interaction and usage. It's what they call Keeping ing the samsung slaves on the "goodlock" plantation.
