Just started GT a month ago and used it for the gr1 races first two seemed easy enough with it daytona and st croix for the Menu gr1 book but the japan gr1 Suzuka is giving me a lil bit of issues came here to see if your tuning helps me a lil here. Hard to stick to the pack in corners at my current level and standard setup.

Thanks for the feedback mate 👍🏽Yeah I haven't used it around Spa heaps to be fair, someone mentioned that there were better options for Suzuka as well. I guess particular tracks are it's strength. I just like it cause it's not officially a Gr1 🤣 Appreciate that though👍🏽🐺

No so the 800pp tune will be over since update 1.49 but the 950 tune will still be good for it. I'll try to do an updated video for these and a bunch of others when I get a chance. 👍🏽 and thanks🐺👊🏽 I appreciate the support
Unfortunately this is the nature of tuning in gt7. Things change. But what I've done in the meantime is drop the front downforce to 839, leave the rear at 1600 and dropped ecu by 3 points to 94. It's not gonna be as quick as it was when I made the vid but all cars 'especially group 1 cars' took a massive hit in that update. Most of the vgt cars seemed to be slightly less effected. Hope that helps mate 🐺👍
@wolffpackracing actually it is working, thank you. I think it might actually be better than Praiainos tune, not sure. How would you run it on St Croix?
Yeah Suzuka is a lower bop track and allot of tighter turns, different type of track so it needs a different type of setup ideally, like any car. So with Gr.1 cars you can adjust the gear ratios, but since this is a vgt U can't. If I was gonna use it for Suzuka I would just take off a little bit of power, reduce some rear downforce and increase some front downforce.
Yeah I think allot of people feel that way, I get frustrated that the only cars that are made up and don't have to be like real life models can't even be organised into a competitive group or something so we have a reason to use them. Feels like a bit of a waste. But I have bought all the cars in the game and do my best to make use of as many as possible. 👍
@wolffpackracing ye setting races for vgt is the answer because racing them against race cars that have not got a chance is pointless for a car that is simply a dream in someone's head . We're as if they were to be classed together then at least you know 🙏

That one is giving me grief too. Other two races wernt much of a problem
Love the 950 tune, but i struggled with the 800 around spa. The gr 1 version is definitely better with the spa 24 hr, well for me anyway!

Oh wow! 😳 I knew that update 1.50 changed the BOP on this car but I didn't realise they took all that downforce off this car. Thanks for the heads up

How put a 8 gear gearbox in My mazda lm55 vgt ( gr1)
Only the *normal transmission is 8 speed with the gr1. Racing and Manual gear boxes are both 7
PS5 must have different tune settings
