  • This is my second tablet weave, so consider yourself warned: I am not a pro at this. And I'm already 2/3 of the way through this belt, so I'm only showing the active weaving process to give you a basic idea. Once this belt is complete, I'll make another tutorial showing how to make cards and figure out your warp threads, choose and work a pattern, etc. So this is basically a teaser ;) I hope you like it!
There's plenty of more detailed information about tablet weaving elsewhere - its history, endless pattern options, etc. But there doesn't seem to be much in the way of longer videos that explain what's going on (without dragging on endlessly), so this is my attempt at that. The follow-up will be better in that sense, showing the set-up of the process.
If you love this pattern and want to try it yourself, you can find it (& many others, & also helpful how-to info) here: mimbles.com/tab... - Thanks Mim!
Feel free to ask questions - I'll answer them if I'm able, or try to help you find answers.

Hi! Beautiful pattern and color choices. What sort of yarn are you using? Thanks for the wonderful video and link to the pattern!

Instead of reversing your card turnings could you have flipped the cards and continued normally?

It is a shame she does not wear a mic to help cut out the background noise. It is so hard to hear her.
