I really like you videos. Maybe a video comparing a ux300h luxury and ux300h fsport. It would be good to see the exterior differences.
Just picked up my luxury trim. It's amazing. I was worried UX interior might not feel as luxurious as higher lvl Lexus, but UX is still surprisingly good. Personally I felt HUGE difference from Toyota Corolla/Prius top trim. Minimal use of cheap hard plastic, and I think Nuluxe looks and feels better than Softex. I recommend going with Palomino or birch Nuluxe to really differentiate from Toyota Softex which I believe only comes in black. Also the engine noise when you accelerate is a lot less than Prius I test drove.
You did an incredible job with this video. Thank you!
Thanks so much! Many more to come!
Thanks for the wonderful review it was informative and honest. Thanks again
You are very welcome! Thank you for watching!
You can have the trunk space! Just remove the first layer and it fits down! Reinstall it lower. The little loop underneath is to attach to the upper door to hold it up so you don’t need hands to hold it up. Just take the loop end off and unwind the rope and hang the loop on the upper door hook. I have a UX300h in the Luxury package in Canada 🇨🇦 on the way… arriving end of April. It has more features like the bigger screens and tach displays as well as folding mirrors; reverse tilting mirrors; head up display; 10 speakers and all the bells and whistles the F-sport 2 has except the appearance package and fog lights/cornering lights(not sure why they didn’t include these it’s the only thing that bugs me about the Luxury build) and adaptive dampers but the power is the same… It still has a sport mode. I think it’s the best package to get.
does it take premium gas? 91?...I currently pay about $90 to fill up my Audi and get about 420 kms for full tank. I wonder how much more the Lexus will give you...?
@@mikvas8088 it takes regular gas 😎.
I have a Rav4 hybrid and the nav system is the worst I've seen. How is yours? Is it detailed? Does it show elevation and speed? Thanks
@@johnt4141 I decided to order an F Sport 2 model so I haven’t received it yet but the nav system is the same as in my NX350. It’s very good but honestly I use CarPlay 100% of the time.
Thanks for the detailed comparison. I now know the difference between caviar and obsidian. I have ordered, in the US, the UX300h Sport Handling in blue! Wish there was a spare tire instead of the multilayer storage in the trunk.
Just purchased it this month!!! Love it
What is your 0-60 time? Gas mileage? Price paid? Do a review for us please.
You bought the 2025? It came out?
My wife purchased the sport design model a few weeks ago and we just got back from a trip from Arizona through Colorado and Utah putting on about 1300 miles. We averaged 42 mpg and I tend to drive a little faster than most people.
Are you able to get your hands on models available Europe?
Your reviews are real good. Like to know your take on those models LBX
That would be amazing! I'd have to wait for a Lexus dealership to fly me out to Europe I think!! LOL I'm not sure if that will happen anytime soon but here's hoping!! Thanks for watching!
Hey Dustin, do you have any news on the possibility of a redesigned 2025 ES250/350?
I think for 2025, they’ve added the F Sport logo embossed to the head rests at least to Cañada?
I looked at the 2024 U.S. brochure and didn’t see it on there.
great videos. Thanks for being a brand ambassador. Too bad the local dealers have no interest in selling the cars. They are here is what we got. Here is the price. I guess the limited inventory in the gives them the market power. My local dealer has less than 2 of everything other than RX. I would be more comfortable with a spare give the horrible roads in AZ
Please get them to make a TX with the RX350h powertrain! I want an efficient comfortable cruiser that is nicer than the grand highlander. The advantage could also be the availability of a 7 seat option.
In the US you can’t have the triple beam ? In France I got it on my F-sport UX. 😅
🤪.. nice video, rewieuw, I own a 2019 UX250h AWD ..also in f-sport trime, very happu with,conso in winter 6.3 l/100km, in summer 5.2l/100km
Finally the UX has enough power to be fun, it should've launched with the 300h engine.
Stunning 😍
meanwhile my RX500 does not come with the full digital gauge clusters. Good job Lexus lol
How is this considered Premium?
And nearly the same price as the NX or ES
Does it have the option for a panoramic view/360 camera?
No
I think the electric version (UX 300e) does
what does the 12" touchscreen do that the smaller standard one doesn't?
aside from being larger, of course. thanks
When will the 2025 is and es be released????
Lexus has the best interior wow im speechless
I believe they raise the trunk floor for making it flat when rear seat backs are down.
Does the f sport have more road noise than luxury?
It would be less since it has acoustic glass for the front passengers
the car doesnt come with a spare tire?? what do you do when you get a flat tire on the road?
It's got run flat tires. Love 'em or hate 'em you can make it somewhere that sells new tires.
Do it's still take regular gas or is it premium gas now?
Regular
Regular
does it have a 360 camera?
No
I don’t see the difference between last gen and 2025
It uses the next gen Hybrid system with more HP..
Also the trackpad has gone - that’s a key thing to look for I think
Fly by wire shifter, 196HP, lithium ion battery with better mpg
Almost the same design in 5 years which is crazy!!!
They removed the trackpad and just leave all that space empty, feels like very lazy design change to me. Also all the additional horse power won’t make any real world difference with that CVT….
Nice that this finally got an upgraded powertrain - the 250h was embarrassingly slow, especially noticeable at highway speed. Curious how this one actually feels by comparison. Safety 3.0 is a nice addition, too. Price is still quite steep for this tiny package, though...
Try driving a CT200h. This is perfectly adequate
@@guppy360 I had a CT! And then a UX a few years ago. Leased both of them. A little more power would be a huge improvement. The initial low end torque was great in the city at low-speeds, but very slow to respond above 30mph.
they need to add panoramic view CAMERA! and ML audio system... why are they available in other markets but not for the UX ...
It’s a small car. If you can’t negotiate a compact SUV you shouldn’t be driving. It would also make it unattractively priced.
I hope this young feller sells some cars so he can buy a suit that fits …
do the back seats fold down??
Yes they do!
@@PerformanceLexusNiagara can we get some measurements with length and width of both seats fully folded down?
I would like Lexus to get rid of those rough run-flats and use that under trunk space for a spare. And, it is a hatchback, not really a cuv or suv, and that is okay.
Totally agree. FYI a Prius V spare tire and kit fit just fine when you take out the compartments... After the runflats wear out get "good" tires...Job done..
When you say 5.6 L/KM it should actually be 5.6 L / 100 KM.
I driving this car:i love lexus ux only.
it looks more of a hatchback than a small Suv
To me it's a urban/city 5 door hatch back..
I agree it’s like the Mercedes GLA they kinda sit between hatchback and crossover
why is the gas tank so small?
if they could have used the NX's tank, then we'd be talking range!
No spare tire is a big fail to me. I hate run flats
LOL! Buy a tire repair kit and you can fix a flat tire yourself.
@@OldPhonesWorld Stupid comment. Fix a flat does not work. Not having a spare on the side of the road is a unnecessary PITA.
@@MrMustangrick I fixed my flat tires by myself so many times!
premium gas?
unleaded I think since it uses the same powertrain as new Prius I believe
Turn the music off.
Don't like the run flat tires
How does it feel to sit in the backseat ?
If your small of stature it's fine..Big? then there is a problem...
It's...cramped, at best. Front seats are fine (when pushed all the way back). Backseat is fine for kids; adults won't appreciate it on a longer drive.
The UX should not be in the US market. It makes zero sense at these prices. How do dealers not give this feedback to the company ??
You mean it's expensive or cheap?
I would rather have a spare tire
Toyota is good in building reliable car but bad at designing car, especially interior. He calls it luxurious but I think it just like all other Toyota cars. Comparing to Merced Benz, it is plain and boring.
Headlights are a downgrade? lol sorry but why wouldn’t you buy any other car? Crown, Prius ES, all superior value propositions. This car is a joke.
Every “luxury” brand’s entry level vehicle is a joke
Have you ever been in a Mercedes a class?
Absolutely terrible
Pretty sure the higher end camry is cheaper and better than this
Even in normal brands
A Toyota Yaris price is awfully similar to a Corolla but the Yaris is terrible feeling
Regardless of brand
The base models are never where it’s at
lexus is Toyota I just figured that out I guess I'm not into cars
None of the fwd Lexus cars seem luxurious…
Ridiculous pricing
Karen car
Cvt engine 50000 too much
This guy… is this improvised? 😂 alot of talk but nothing new
It's his job to hype the vehicle..
F Sport “Design” is a stupid idea. No one wants a grandma car that “looks” like it’s sporty. They’re buying a nonsporty Lexus/Toyota for utilitarian purposes.
I own a 2024 220h premium, I should have gotten the sport handling, I can take some sharp turns without the upgraded suspension, the computer mitigates the turn, it feels like butter, I barely have to do anything but hold the steering wheel, it's perfect for grandma in an urban setting.
I am not sure why anyone wants to buy Lexus, everything is inferior than MBZ, BMW, and Tesla
One word… Reliability
My brother owns a 2014 Lexus ES and it has 200k miles and does not even have any major problem at all. It’s just oil changes, spark plugs, tires and brakes. My 2015 Prius lasted 350k miles before I needed to change the hybrid battery and head gasket then trade it in at 410k miles for a 2024 Lexus UX. I did not even changed the transmission fluid and suspension system lol I aggressively drive the hell out of that Prius for Uber lol. I don’t even know if those Mercedes, BMW and Tesla will last that long before it starts to have a major problem lol
@@Morgan21 they last as long as Lexus, but who wants to keep a car more than 5 years? not me, I want brand new tech
@@Morgan21My goal with my CT200h (Same car as yours) is 400k! I'm at 180k right now. I definitely want the new UX, maybe I should do uber in my spare time loll
@@MiahVegaohh for sure it will last the same as my prius because the ct200h and prius has the same engine
