I have had the 300h Fsport since March 24 and I love the car! I get 43 mpg rides smooth good acceleration on highway to pass. Good handling and quick enough around the city. It isn't roomy and hatch storage is limited. Great car!
I bought the 2025 Lexus 300h F Sport Handling 10 days ago. I also owned a 2024 BMW X1 M35i. I prefer the Lexus as it handles more easily and I prefer the shift lever, console and info screen to the BMW, although the M35i was 312 HP - which I don't need when my driving is not on the Autobahn. And the UX was $5+k less, plus a no-plug in hybrid with 42 mpg and has a less quirky setup and better paddle shifters which I use for regenerative braking on the hybrid system.
Getting into my 50s now I wanted a comfortable , easy car to commute in , so after research I settled on the 2025 vs the older 2024 250h. I bought a UX 300h Preimum in march after stalking the limited release to the US and LOVE the car. Came over from a tricked out CX-30 Turbo PPT. Im surprised by the torque at highway passing speeds . Great car and very smooth and refined. Japanese car built in japan cannot be beat also. the car is perfect for me in everywya but $$. But you get what you pay for.
This new 5th generation hybrid system was actually first in the prius, and they share the same engine and power figures. the Camry is an iteration of that, but it is a 2.5 liter NA 4 cylinder.
I own the 2024 UX250h FSport2, great car for city commute, and for highways as well. It is a very premium complete package and a good value for the money if value premium interior and better tuning compared to Toyota counterpart model. For 95% of the time, the size is perfect. The remaining 5% is what makes you think about getting a slighthly bigger option, like the NX or even the RX. I already ordered the UX 300h, and I am looking forward to experiencing the needed better torque and +15hp as well as the LSS 3.0. Good review, liked you focus on bright side and the value based on actual usage and needs. Good approach.
My wife needed a small car for work so we ordered a 2025 UX300h FSport2. We already have a 2023 NX350 F Sport 3(gas only model) so she doesn’t need the back seat really. However, I also ordered a 2025 NX450h+ and I will trade in the 2023 NX for that one. 2 things I will lose will be the power rear seats (but honestly I used the feature like 2 times in a year) and the Mark Levinson sound system (which I will be sad to see go but I have tinnitus so I can’t fully appreciate it anyways 🤷♂️) Yes, Lexus owns my soul 🤣
Just an update our 2025 UX300h does not have a touch sensitive wheel with respect to the prompt to touch the wheel with the adaptive cruise feature. My NX350 DOES! The lack of this touch feature on the UX steering wheel makes the adaptive cruise unusable because every minute you have to literally jerk the wheel to turn off the prompt and the beeping and the automatic shut off. 🤷♂️
Nice review as always. I own a 2024 Fsport2 UX and previously a 2021. Thought about upgrading to this version but the resale value of my '24 sucks right now. Love the UX!
Went with a 2024 Audi Q3 over this Lexus. Basically same price, more room especially in the storage and back seat area. More HP, 230, no run flat tires, has a spare tire, 8sp trans - no ECT, better ground clearance. The Lexus is a Hybrid so that's a plus in terms of MPG.
@@Modern.Motoring 10.8l/100km ?! What is that from? A bus? The video is about an hybrid, and that's what I'm talking, obviously. 5.6 is nothing special for the hybrid IS.
Does the smallest Lexus have what it takes to compete with the BMW X1/X2, Volvo XC40 or the Audi Q3?
i was also checking that and they not in the same category with the new size of the x1 will be more close to a NX
@@kryistianbroce X1 is bigger dimension-wise; we included it as it’s the smallest crossover BMW offers just like the UX with Lexus.

If I am rocking a 12 CT200h with 276,000 km, this UX300h will probably last 300,000 quite easily.
Yup!

Thank you!!! It’s one of Jay’s favourites!
Outrageous prices $$$$$
I just ordered new 2025 and I'm already like it
@@levmaranc8962 congrats!
Nice video. How’s the road noise in the UX? Is the f sport louder than the luxury trim?
Does it fold flat in the back with the seats folded? Could someone 6’ tall sleep back there on occasion?
There’s a clip in here of the seats folded down. Could possibly fit 6 ft with a slight bend in the knees
Ahh thanks I was multitasking while watching so I must have missed the clip
great video!
Thank you, Sean!!
Great video. What is the ground clearance and does it take regular or premium fuel?
Regular fuel

:)
I like everything but the grill.
great now lexus is going cvt one less brand to pick from, nothing like a standard gears
it's not your typical cvt
Fuel consumption is worse than IS which is bigger and 2 gens older hybrid system. Typical SUV, s**t

The 2025 IS: 10.8L/100 km combined
IS fuel consumption is nearly double the UX.
Yea what are you smoking lol
