Love ours get an 2025 AWD is makes it even better ! Best ride we have owned and we owned all the luxury brands . It is not too small at all we leave the rear seats down so it is great . We fill it once a month with regular fuel ! Love the break hold feature at stop lights . Best seats even better than the Volvos we have owned . When reviews make comments it is small is like reviewing a Ford Expedition or Chevy Suburban and saying it is too large ! People buy the UX when you want the highest quality smaller SUV so it is not a negative . If you don't need a larger SUV then guess what it is perfect . The Premium AWD is the way to go load it up with the larger screen and the heads up . Great review !
Nice review Matt! This might not be the most exciting car someone can buy at this pricepoint, but I can absolutely see its appeal for those who might consider it.
Awesome! I plan on buying a UX within 2-3 years. I have a CX5 which I love, however I feel it's a little too big for me. I love the styling and coziness of the UX!
This car rocks for my real estate wife!!! Great fuel economy and not too bad handling! We got the top line FSport trim and it’s just a bomb proof gas sipping model!!!! If we need more room I have a 2025 NX350h executive trim with a 450h+ on the way!!! 😎 edit: Japan made!!! Quality and reliability.
my 2021 ux250h has the same dash pad. I absolutely love the car as a 1 person commuter and hop in the GX when the family is going along. sport mode gets me 2 more mpg around town and on highway than normal or eco.
As someone coming from a CT200h, which is smaller, I wish this car was smaller lol. Just have to get a bigger car if you want a bigger car. I barely use the back seat ever. It's nice to just put the back seats down and fit a decent amount of stuff but still have a small car that handles well.
You flipped the mpg (12:58), it's 45 city, 41 highway on the Lexus site. Also, you guys should specify which grade of fuel is used (unless I missed it). Regular vs. premium might be a 6% difference in CA, but well into the teens in other states.
I recently got my new UX 300h and have driven 60 miles in 2 days but the avg is 25mpg and the EV mode never comes on as it keeps charging. How many miles did you drive before you saw 45mpg?
The only way to get a hybrid AWD Corolla hatch in the US. It's actually cheaper than the GR Corolla Core and only a few thousand more than a fully loaded XSE hybrid sedan💀 Buy this UX used in 2-3 years edit: forgot about the corolla cross lol
I'm looking to replace my, wonderful I must say, Mazda 3 MY2019 with a lexus (I'm getting older...kidding!). My choice is between UX F-SPORT and ES UL trim. It seems a bit weird to choose between these two, but I love the ES since they redesigned it few years ago and I have to say I like the UX more and more! Please help me!!! With cars price skyrocket I feel that is now or never!
I understand why they make these but that doesn’t mean they should. This is based on the corolla. Lexus is supposed to mean luxury. They started out with ES and LS. There isn’t a model above LS, today and there shouldn’t be one below ES. I consider the IS to be a 3 series competitor and that’s fine, I think they did a great job with it.
upper $40k is too much for an aging model? at this price NX350h-premium is a better choice with much better interior and capacity with similar MPG. only compatible vehicle is a Kia Niro with higher MPG and about $10k less if equipped similarly minus AWD.
Dude... look at the rest of the products Toyota is offering right now. They have a ton of fun (both track fun & off road fun) vehicles right now. There's nothing wrong with them offering some stuff for the masses as well.

“Totally fine” is a big improvement over the previously underpowered version. We live in LA, a sub compact, premium crossover would be perfect for us.
