- Paul writes to not be judged regarding Sabbath keeping. Does this mean you don't need to keep the Sabbath anymore? Was the Sabbath a "shadow" that Jesus fulfilled?

One thing I can think of that is standing in my way to a deeper relationship with Jesus is my own self. I seek a deeper relationship with Jesus. And I am the only one I can blame for not being able to go deeper. I need to pray longer, read more scripture, evangelize more. I need to practice loving others better. This one is the hardest for me. I don't know why. Probably because I feel like I should be able to be a better fellow human being, and a better friend.

Thank you 🙏🏼 I don’t believe it’s man’s place to judge, it’s only God’s place to judge. I don’t worry about my fellow man judging me because there’s nothing they can do to me to cause me to lose salvation, but instead, I am concerned about God’s judgment. I only want to live according to the Word & will of my Father in Heaven.
Question??? You said God wrote out the commandments for a second time because Moses broke the first set, but the way I thought it read was God made Moses write out the second set. Am I misunderstanding something?

And the Lord said to Moses, “Cut two tablets of stone like the first ones, and I will write on these tablets the words that were on the first tablets which you broke.
Ok..ok..I was reading exodus 34:28. It reads like "he" is Moses. I was so confused.

What does fulfill mean when JESUS says I have fulfilled the law
It does not mean nullify. Jesus showed us how to fulfill the law, because He kept it perfectly. Unlike the pharisees who tried to teach the children of Israel. Jesus showed them that we should do good (heal) on the Sabbath day. The pharisees were too busy making it impossible to keep the commandments, so Jesus had to show the people that it was possible to fulfill the laws in the way they were meant to be fulfilled. Jesus always kept the Sabbath holy & taught His disciples likewise🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

It means that Yeshua is the Only one who Kept the Law Perfectly.

He fulfills it means he fills it up. He gives the scriptures their fuller meaning. God's will is described in the OT and Jesus shows its continuation.
You need to learn better arguments because your arguments do not appear to be from the Bible and they are flawed. God never divided his law into moral and ceremonial. All of God‘s law is moral. You are picking and choosing which laws you keep and watch ones you don’t just as the people who don’t keep God’s seventh day sabbath.
God only divided his law into love God and love your neighbor, neither of which have been done away with. Remember it says God’s law will be written on our hearts meaning all of God‘s law, not some of it.
Also you took Colossians 2:16 out of context. it says let no man judge you. It didn’t say, don’t let God judge you. In other words do keep all the festivals and sabbaths as God commanded you to and do eat the way he commanded you to. It’s saying follow God’s rules not man’s. So do keep the Passover for example but keep it in remembrance of Jesus as God commanded us to, not in the way that some men do Continuing in animal sacrifice after the ultimate sacrifice had only already been given or like today, for example how they have turned the holiday into A man-made ritual known as communion. Jesus and his disciples were eating at the Passover mill when he said keep this in remembrance of me it was not some random day where the church leaders decided it would be a good time to have a communion it was a day that was appointed by God. How can We remembered Jesus is our Passover Lamb if we are not celebrating The Passover as He commanded us to?

However our mainstream churches claim that the law was crucified to the cross and that we are not under the law.In making such a claim they lie! for they fail to say that it was the law of Moses that was crucified at the cross and not the Law of the 10 commandments.They use this false argument as an excuse to break the 4th commandment which says in
Exodus 20:8-11
[8]Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
[9]Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
[10]But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
[11]For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
They instead chose to keep holy the 1st day of the week i.e Sunday which is a law of the Catholic church as the Catholic church changed the sabbath from Saturday(7th day) to Sunday(1st day) by the decree of emperor Constantine in 321A.D with no scriptural authority.This act in itself was infact prophesied by Daniel in
Daniel 7:25 kjv
[25]And he(horn power) shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change TIMES and LAWS: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
Any student of prophesy knows that this horn power of Daniel 7:25 is infact the Roman Catholic church which is also the first beast of revelation or the harlot woman(apostate church) which rides the beast(more study on that later).Our protestant churches today are instead following in the footsteps of Rome in keeping the commandments of men which they support by twisting Bible verses or understanding Bible verses out of context as an excuse to keep their false Sunday worship even as apostle mark puts it clearly
Mark 7:7-9 kjv
Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
They instead try to proof that the sabbath was abolished yet there is not a single verse in the Bible that supports their claim and they instead quote verses like collosians 2:16 kjv or mark 2:27-28 etc while failing to follow the standard for Bible interpretation set by Isaiah
Isaiah 28:9-10
Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
For PRECEPT must be upon PRECEPT, PRECEPT upon PRECEPT; LINE upon LINE, LINE upon LINE; here a little, and there a little:
But we need not be deceived any True Christian ought to protest all the false teachings introduced by the antichrist church(Roman Catholic church) which includes their counterfeit Sunday worship.Sunday worship has its roots traced to paganism in ancient Rome.
As a result of the great adoration for SUN-worship. Constantine even enforced the very first Sunday law ... "On the venerable Day of the Sun let the magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed." (edict of Constantine, AD 321)
This they did while literally ignoring Jesus words in matthew
Matthew 5:18-19
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Those who claim that the sabbath was abolished are as guilty as the Catholic church who invented Sunday worship and they also ignore the fact that even in the new earth we shall still keep the sabbath.
Isaiah 66:22-23 ...'For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one SABBATH to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.'
Some ignorant Christians even go as far as to say that any day is the sabbath day which is an obvious insult to our creator since by saying this they infact are calling him a liar when he says that the 7th day and not any other day is the lord's Day and should be kept holy.
They instead prefer to hear the smooth things preached by their ministers as Isaiah puts it
Isaiah 30:10 kjv
Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:
And because they do not love the truth God allows them to be deceived for they love not his truth as seen in
2 Thessalonians 2:10-12
[10]And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a LIE:
That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
HOWEVER am not saying that all Sunday keepers will go to hell as they worship on Sunday out of ignorance and God winks at their ignorance
Acts 17:30
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
Therefore every True Christian who is convicted of the Truth and yet rejects it shall be judged guilty according to God.As Paul puts it in Hebrews
Hebrews 10:26-27
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
The sign, or seal, of God is revealed in the observance of the seventh-day Sabbath, the Lord's memorial of creation.... The mark of the beast is the opposite of this-the observance of the first day of the week.
Sundaykeeping is not yet the mark of the beast, and will not be until the decree goes forth causing men to worship this idol sabbath. The time will come when this day will be the test, but that time has not come yet.
No one has yet received the mark of the beast.The testing time has not yet come. There are true Christians in every church, not excepting the Roman Catholic communion. None are condemned until they have had the light and have seen the obligation of the fourth commandment. But when the decree shall go forth enforcing the counterfeit sabbath, and the loud cry of the third angel shall warn men against the worship of the beast and his image, the line will be clearly drawn between the false and the true. Then those who still continue in transgression will receive the mark of the beast.
If the light of truth has been presented to you, revealing the Sabbath of the fourth commandment, and showing that there is no foundation in the Word of God for Sunday observance, and yet you still cling to the false sabbath, refusing to keep holy the Sabbath which God calls “my holy day,” you receive the mark of the beast. When does this take place? When you obey the decree that commands you to cease from labor on Sunday and worship God, while you know that there is not a word in the Bible showing Sunday to be other than a common working day, you consent to receive the mark of the beast, and refuse the seal of God.
In a little while every one who is a child of God will have His seal placed upon him.
The Mark of the Beast is to soon be enforced in this world! And the Mark of the Beast is not a tattoo,microchip,ID card or anything physical as the false ministers like preaching.
Even as the Roman Catholic church loves to brag
Sunday is our mark of authority …. The church is above the Bible, and this transference of sabbath observance is proof of that fact” (The Catholic Record of London, Ontario, Sept. 1, 1923).
Get to the point and lose the condescending tone
Is there any evidence of early Church Fathers telling us to keep the Sabbath? Or any evidence in the Bible of the apostles telling us to keep the Sabbath? In Acts 15 the apostles met and told the Gentiles to do 4 things, none being to keep the Sabbath. If you desire to rest once a week to glorify the Lord, thats amazing! I think it is also great however, if you want to work more to do the will of God, as well.

Acts 15 is speaking about Gentiles & Jews, how they should act towards one another. However, in other letters, we see how a Gentile in Christ should live after being Saved. That is, Under the Law of Christ. To love God & our Neighbour ❤️
The 10 Commandments are One way on how to Love God & our Neighbour.
Christ's righteousness is available to everyone who believes in Him.
We are Under Grace and are Saved through Faith ❤️
However, Grace isn't a license to keep sinning(Romans 6).
If you sin, then sin is the Transgression of the Law.
(1 John 3:4).
Matthew 24:20
And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath.
Jesus is telling about the fall of Jerusalem some 7 decades in the future. If He did not expect His disciples to keep the Sabbath, why would he say to pray their flight from Jerusalem would not be on the Sabbath?
Also, the apostles didn't need to be told to keep the Sabbath. If they happened to decide not to keep Sabbath, the Jews would have raised issue with that.
Some things are loud and clear in scripture without having to be specific. Somewhat like why Jesus spoke in parables. If one doesn't understand, they need to search their heart, search the scriptures, and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance.
Read acts 13:41-43,clearly shows Paul Jews and gentiles were honoring the Sabbath,read Isaiah 66:22-3,here we see we still Sabbath in the new heavens and earth,mark 2:27 says Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath,then read Rev1:10 John received the Revelation on the Sabbath(the Lord's day)

Even tho I do agree with you, I don't think the Lord's Day is the Sabbath, but Sunday. In the Greek Bible & The Modern Greek word for Sunday, Κυριακή/Kyriaki, is derived from Κύριος (Kyrios, Lord) also, due to its liturgical significance as the day commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, i.e. The Lord's Day.
Just like how Sabbath & Saturday in Greek mean "Σάββατο/Savvato".
Brother,the whole reason the commandments are etched in stone is because they're unchangeable,there is not one verse saying the Sabbath has been changed,some people use missunderstood verses to claim the change ,but when you study this out it's obvious the Sabbath was never changed,we worship God everyday but the 7th day is the Sabbath of the Lord,I have scripture in the first comment that clearly shows the Sabbath from Genesis to Revelation.jesus even warns the people escaping Israel in 70.(when temple was destroyed by Rome) A.d to take heed there flight is not in the winter or the Sabbath day.jesus even honored the Sabbath in death,rising on the first day resting in the grave from Friday evening till early Sunday morning,he didn't rest on the first day he rose...keep studying because Satan hates that the Sabbath points to christ,so he counterfeits it.....the reason the commandments are in the ark ark of the covenant and God's mercy seat is right over them is because Gods law is eternal.the one the bible says will think to change times and laws did exactly that,Rome changed the calendar,took the 2nd commandment out of their bible,and groomed people to keep Sunday(day of the sun holy instead of the 7th day.evetything Daniel 7:25 prophesied about the beast power has been fulfilled .....the blessing for you is that your are researching this topic because if you seek you will find....God bless
