Hello Lauren. Thank you for your very informative videos on Roatan. However, most of your analysis is based on "permanent" living and/or property purchasing in Roatan. However, I (like many others I think) are there temporarily, for +/- 6 months for digital nomad work. Any ideas on the home rental pool (apartment or house)? In regards to transportation, would it be "thinkable" to expect easy access to car and scooter rentals nearby? I was even thinking of purchasing a used scooter to help us get around.

Rentals for 6 months will depend on the season, Dec-April are high season. I would expect $1000K USD a month plus for a one bedroom with good internet and AC. For the Cars, the monthly rates are about $1000-1500 or $50-100/day. Cars hold their value, so you could spend $5-10k on a car and sell it for about the same when you leave. Used scooters are an option too. I would probably look to buy a new scooter or Moto for about $1000-1500, then you can sell it for about 20% less than what you paid for it.
