What do you mean by "changing host IP Address"? Please note that all the changes described in the video should only be applied to your extra router, NOT the main ISP router. We are only creating a Wi-Fi extender here. We should NOT modify anything from the main router

I haven't tried using that model yet as a repeater, but it's the same Concept. You might just encounter a different menu from the router, but still the same steps. Also, since your source is Converge, your static IP. should be 192.168.100.X where X is any number between 2 to 254 (I suggest higher number to avoid duplicate IP address)
AFAIK you can't. You need the repeater router's connection input source to be connected to any of the LAN ports of the main router. But I can could be wrong. In case you find a way, I'd be very interested to know how

Try to reset the router and repeat the whole process. Make sure your connection is good. If it's still the same, the router could be defective already.

Parehas ng model ng wifi or ng router? If parehas ng model ng router, same passwords lang dapat. Pag ayaw gumana, ibig sabihin napalitan na. Yung user at password ng WiFi SSID at ng Settings, pati IP address, mare-reset yan kapag ni-reset mo ang router. Babalik sya kung ano yung nasa sticker sa likod ng router. Yung admin password kapag napalitan na, kahit i-reset ang router, hindi sya nare-reset
It's hard to trace all your steps with a chat/comment, so I suggest that you reset the router and begin from the start again. Please follow each step and listen to the explanation. Do NOT skip ahead the video. Explanations are mentioned in the video for a reason. Also, very important, you are only resetting and changing the settings of the old router. DO NOT change anything on your main router.
Should be at the back. If its not ther anymore, try to search for common user/password... But there's no guarantee they will work. You should have checked first before resetting.

Same process lang. Walang pinagkaiba. Yung kokonektahan mo naman na main ay PLDT din. Yung static IP lang dapat unique sa network. Yung 192.168.1.xx ... Yung xx dapat unique. Gawin mo lang mataas. Mga 180 to 250.
There's a lot of factors to consider here, like the static IP might already been used by other devices, the spare router might not be resetted correctly, steps you might missed, the extra router might already be faulty, etc. etc. Sorry, it's hard to isolate these things if the extra router is not in front of me.
I don't get your question. It is a router. It transmits wifi signal. The usual mode of using it is wireless already. If you mean use it wired... You can just plug LAN cable to lan port 2, 3 and 4 going to your device (tv, laptop, etc)

You should only reset and change the settings of your external router. You do NOT need to change anything from the main router. That's very clear from the video. So, unless you changed the settings of your main router (which is really bad and was NEVER ever endorsed in this video), I don't think the problem on your main router is related to any of this.
No idea. Di pa ko nakakagamit ng iPhone. Pero try mo palitan ang channel ng router. Wag mo muna i-auto, tapos set mo 11 or lowed. Baka may channel lang na pwede sa iOS

Your main is PLDT, and you made your converge router as extension of that pldt main router connection. Why are you connecting to converge wifi?

Lumang router po yang extender nyo. Hanggang 100mbps lang capability nya.

No. The router from pldt always need to be the main source. You cannot replace it as there are configs that only pldt knows and has access to it

Baka yung router naka-set sa 50mbps max somewhere in the settings. Or it could also be the cable. It's best to use CAT7 or higher LAN cable

That's odd. Did you disabled DHCP, set the repeater to be static IP?

You can connect an RJ45 cable to any port of the extender router or main router pa din. It will work.

Not advisable na baguhin ang settings ng main router mo. Madaming settings dyan na preset ng provider mo, na kapag nabago, maloloko na connections mo.

Yung user at password ng WiFi SSID at ng Settings, pati IP address, mare-reset yan kapag ni-reset mo ang router. Babalik sya kung ano yung nasa sticker sa likod ng router. Yung admin password kapag napalitan na, kahit i-reset ang router, hindi sya nare-reset

It's hard to trace all your steps with a chat/comment, so I suggest that you reset the router and begin from the start again. Please follow each step and listen to the explanation. Do NOT skip ahead the video. Explanations are mentioned in the video for a reason.
Also, very important, you are only resetting and changing the settings of the old router. DO NOT change anything on your main router.

Should be at the back. If its not ther anymore, try to search for common user/password... But there's no guarantee they will work. You should have checked first before resetting.

Same process lang. Walang pinagkaiba. Yung kokonektahan mo naman na main ay PLDT din. Yung static IP lang dapat unique sa network. Yung 192.168.1.xx ... Yung xx dapat unique. Gawin mo lang mataas. Mga 180 to 250.

There's a lot of factors to consider here, like the static IP might already been used by other devices, the spare router might not be resetted correctly, steps you might missed, the extra router might already be faulty, etc. etc. Sorry, it's hard to isolate these things if the extra router is not in front of me.

Yes, definitely. It's the same process
- reset
- disable dhcp or set to be an extender
- set static IP
- connect to your source

I don't get your question. It is a router. It transmits wifi signal. The usual mode of using it is wireless already.
If you mean use it wired... You can just plug LAN cable to lan port 2, 3 and 4 going to your device (tv, laptop, etc)

Anyway, the distance is irrelevant. Even if you put the old router to the other house, or even if it is just beside the main router, you will always need to connect the old router to the main router via LAN cable.
The old router needs a source of connection, and it can only get that through a wired LAN cable connection, there's no other way.

Try to reset the router (your extra router, NOT the main ISP router) and repeat. Kung ayaw talaga, baka may issue na yung old router

@@karlnope9286 This process has nothing to do with the main router. You are only setting up an external router to connect to your main router as a repeater. You should only reset and change the settings of your external router. You do NOT need to change anything from the main router. That's very clear from the video. So, unless you changed the settings of your main router (which is really bad and was NEVER ever endorsed in this video), I don't think the problem on your main router is related to any of this.
