Dear Cheryle, love your curls. So glad to see you back with your advice and inspiration. I bought some of your perfect jersey and sweatshirt fabric last year and it is such good quality. I have made loads of Tilly’s baseball tops for me and my husband and sweatshirts for us too. They are keeping us nice and warm and our big drafty old house in rural France. The sweatshirting is so nice to sew with and so warm. Love it. I am so sorry about your beautiful Dad. I lost my Daddy 7 years ago and I usually still have a cry most days because I loved him and miss him so very much, but I still have a wonderful happy life with so much laughter adventure and love in it, thanks to all that he gave me. Thank you for getting back to your videos and sharing your love and loss. Love never dies xxxx

I’m glad you’re back. My father passed away last summer too. We had a wake over Zoom because of covid. My condolences to you and your family. Also, thank you for talking about the PDFs for Tilly’s book, Make it simple. I bought that book last summer and didn’t know about the PDFs. That makes life easier. Thank you. Cheryl, I subscribed this morning, have watched a couple of hours of your videos and finished at this one. Each time you mentioned the week away, just you and Dad to Greece, my heart hurt with envy. Dad has been gone almost 11 years, and whilst we were close, I never ever had what you had. I’m so sorry for your loss. Hold onto your lovely memories.

How funny. I was just going through my RUclips Vlogger’s and saw that you hadn’t posted for a month so I unsubscribed thinking that you weren’t going to Vlog anymore! Then I was watching another sewing Vlog and noticed your picture with an “I’m Back” as the title! Good to have you back. Very tender that you lost your wonderful father. I’ve lost my mom and my dad is 88 and starting to talk about who should get his things and his estate. I’ll be the executor. It’s tough, isn’t it. But - just for today, we’re going to be happy and find joy in our sewing and be grateful for every little thing. There’s a snow storm on it’s way in Oregon today. Snuggly time to sew! Hugs to you.

Great to see you back. I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. I'm 61 and my mother died 39 years ago and my dad 34 years ago. So when you played photos of your dad at the end of the video, I was blubbering like a baby especially with that music. When we lose someone we all carry on with our lives but you can still get upset in an instant no matter how old you are. However, it's been so lovely to see you and talk about your future plans on what you are going to make. I look forward to your next video. By the way, your hair looks fab. x

So very sorry to hear of your loss Cheryl, it’s been a tough year for everyone, but losing someone we love must make it even harder. So happy to see you back and looking and sounding so positive, your hair looks fab by the way. Glad you have your sew jo back, I was like you and struggled this year to make a connection with my sewing machine, but things are improving. With spring being round the corner there are so many lovely patterns coming out to tempt us back, plus hopefully the prospect of better weather will spur us on to get sewing again. Sorry for your loss, but I’m glad you’re back. I’ve missed your videos. What a wonderful way to celebrate your dad. Loved seeing the pics at the end. I’ve started using Trello for store all my patterns and fabric, it takes time to put everything on it, but once its there you have a full collection. xx
