Thank you so much for this, Lisa! What a list of treasures...
Thank you so much Lisa....some great free patterns there and looking forward to seeing another sew along 😉👍😘
Muchas gracias por este vídeo Lisa!!! Seguro que uso alguno de estos patrones para mis tutoriales! Besos!
This is a really useful resource. Thanks Lisa!
Great video Lisa, loads of free patterns I'd never heard of, thanks!
Thank you for listing these free patterns! Will definitely check them out!
Great! Enjoy!
I am greatful you shared this with all of us! Great quality patterns :D
Thanks Lisa. I’m always looking for free patterns. Today I’m working on the Bea Blouse - the pattern came free with the simply sewing magazine. And it fits perfectly right out of the envelope. That’s a win!
Rhonda Lorch That’s the best!
Thank you for taking the time to make this video and share this information.
You're right Lisa - I didn't know about several of the ones you mentioned here. What a helpful resource you've provided! I subscribe to Peppermint so I knew about them. I believe the designer for these patterns was on a podcast I listened to recently but I can't remember her name. Lovely designer. I finally finished the Kastrup - it took me almost ALL of Feb to finally get the fit right. I tried it on yesterday before finishing the seams and my husband didn't think it suited me. Maybe princess seams aren't my thing. oh well. So today I'm making up a few Ogden Camis. Yes! I finally have this pattern now that Kelli has released it in print format YAY! I want a few of these for summer. I know it's early but I wanted to get going on some spring summer sewing and something EASY is appealing after that Kastrup :) Then I'm thinking about a couple of silk Kimonos for summer too - I think they'll be perfect for spring in Victoria which can get cooler and breezy by the water. Looking forward to seeing that fabric haul! :) Have a wonderful sewing weekend Lisa. We have our monthly sewing meet-up tomorrow at Gala Fabrics which I always look forward to.
I may just have to add more patterns to my printing list this weekend!!
I just got a sewing machine yesterday, I'm teaching myself to sew. I'm so excited. I've already made a double sided blanket (my easy let me get started project) and then I made a blouse today without a pattern (it looks like a 5 year old made it) but I did it lol and it actually fits, it just looks a bit crazy, so I came hunting for patterns I could practice with and found your channel. I subbed, thanks for the great resources! Wish me luck!
That’s great! Every project will get a little easier, and you will learn so much! Enjoy. 💗
Thank you for the free patterns. ❤❤❤
What a great video Lisa! I did take advantage of Nateida’s video for free PDFs and got a few downloads for myself. I also have a couple of the ones that you featured in this video already and ones I don’t have that I want to get! Thanks so much for sharing!
Great video! Thanks so much, Lisa.
These are fantastic!!! Great resource!!
Thanks Lisa, I particularly love the made by oranges freebie jumper, think I'm going to make that for this snowy weather we are also having in the uk at the moment, Rachel x
Let me know how it goes!
Wow, this is great! Thanks so much for putting all this info together. I'm sitting here on Sunday morning having my cuppa while everyone else is still snoozing and seeing all these free patterns, it's like Xmas!
Ha! I’m glad, Robyn!
Hi Lisa. Great video and a welcome source of free pattern info. I'm heading off to check em all out right now. Sending love from the UK xx
Enjoy!
Great video as always Lisa, thanks for sharing such useful info! Unfortunately I’ve had to work this weekend so not as much Sewing as I’d like, but I’m hoping to start a linen wrap top tomorrow ✨✨✨
Handmade By Ditsy-Tulip sounds lovely!
Great video! Thank you for sharing a wealth of resources. :)
Wow thanks for sharing love peppermint magazine just downloaded about 5 patterns in off to print them out ...
Wow Thank you Lisa! So many that I have never heard of.
Really liked this video - thank you! If you do another one, it would be great to focus on patterns that have A0/copyshop versions. Thanks for all of your great videos :)
Thanks so much for sharing these - this is really helpful!
Julee James i
Your videos are always so great, Lisa! I've learned a lot about other vloggers, resources and tips. And I love that you're from Canada, too - for us, spring sewing is still a bit far away! ;)
Let’s hope not toooooo far! ;)
I will add you on Pinterest. I have hundreds and hundreds of free patterns pinned too. Most of my sewing is done from free patterns although that doesn't stop me from buying too many! Lol! Great video
Thanks so much for sharing these resources. I haven't heard of most of them. Looking forward to having a good look. Thanks x
Glad you found some new sources!
Great video. Thank You for all the information. Very nice😀
Another fantastic video, Lisa! Xx
Wow, thanks for sharing those links, off for an afternoon of browsing now. Love your channel btw
eightlegs thanks! Have fun. 😘
Good morning, I just watched this for the second time for inspiration and encouragement--- it snowed again last night and expecting more on and off all day today and tonight. I'm SO tired of cold etc...
I’m so glad I could inspire! Spring WILL arrive at some point! Lol
All the way from the kingdom of Swaziland, you have changed my life, thank you. Patterns are very expensive here, so many underprivileged dress makers will benefit from this
nothando nhleko I am so happy to hear it- thank you for letting me know! I did two more recent videos here that will be more current: ruclips.net/video/eUFfcv9W7S0/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/o3aJK5ldlt8/видео.html Enjoy!
2 that was really kind of you to do the legwork for the rest of us. I don't mind paying for patterns, but love to find new ideas and styles. So down the rabbit hole I go, and thanks Lisa.
You’re welcome! 😘
Thanks for the heads up on those sources Lisa! I took advantage of that top offer from "Made by Oranges" that you recently shared on IG:) I had noticed a free Bomber jacket pattern on Mood's website a while back, but didn't think to check if they had others available. Just subbed to their mailing list now. I used a cute girls skirt DIY from Scattered Thoughts (flat-front gathered skirt), it was so quick and easy! Thanks again for sharing, I'll be checking out the others you mentioned! Debbie from "Sew Sew Easy" has some free garment patterns as well:)
Wow, great resource!
Excellent video. I've made a top from Peppermint magazine and the City Gym shorts for my daughter. Both very nice patterns!
Hi, great video. Thanks for sharing all this information I will certainly be going down the rabbit hole who doesn’t love free patterns 😍 enjoy your day sewing, we too are in the grips of snow here in the UK, so I’ll also be sewing.....👋🏻😊
Enjoy- and stay warm! :)
Great video, Lisa-looking forward to a trip down the free pattern rabbit hole..:) I'm working on a dress using some fabric from my stash and an apron for one of my nephews.
Good job using up that stash!
Thank you! These are awesome! ☺️
Thanks for all these sites, wow
Thank you Lisa, another great Vlog and so helpful. The cost of sewing can really add up if we're not careful, so it's wonderful to have some more free resources. Thanks again.
My pleasure!
New subscriber!! The skirt picture for this video caught my eye. I am trying to find more Canadian RUclipsrs and here you are : )) I have watched several more and will make my way through the rest in the next week or so. Inspiring and helpful. I joined the Love Sewing website and downloaded the pocket skirt. Thanks for the information.
Welcome, welcome! I’m planning on making that skirt, too. So cute!
Wow I didn't know about any of these. Thanks so much!
Okay I might be a little behind. I have watched quite a few of your vlogs and you are great on the vertical. Thank you so much. You are wonderful!
Thanks, Maureen! That’s so nice of you to say! I hope you subscribed- I’m planning my next free patterns video to release this weekend!
Oh my goodness - rabbit hole indeed! Also, love your Pinterest feed, I've been pinning away all morning x
I'm so happy I found this
thank you so much for doing this!
Thanks for this information! Great to learn and practice when you can't spend a lot on patterns
Absolutely!
Wow! Thank you!
Fab video Lisa!! The Mood Fabrics stuff!? 😍 OMG. I was unaware of this and will be checking it out! Thanks for all these lovely tip-offs! X
I found them recently, so I haven’t made any yet- but really interesting designs!
Thank you for sharing! TFS xx
Thank you! I had no idea!
Thanks! Enjoyed.
Thanks very much for this great informative video, checking out the websites already xx
thank you! I had no idea about any of these. loving the mood patterns!
Thank you!!!
This is a brilliant Vlog, thank you so much, I've gone to each place and subscribed etc REALLY generous thank you. What an amazing horizon broadening video. Can't thank you enough. It's taken a while to go through each , including loading a PDF reader onto my iPad. Wow. I have added some great ideas to my gift making list! - to reduce my stash of 40 storage boxes of fabric and clothes for recycling. Absolutely great. Thank you.
Sonia Butler so happy to hear it, Sonia! Happy sewing. :):)
and down the rabbit hole i go!!
Where to start? This is such a great resource. Thank you Lisa
Merci beaucoup Lisa, I had a couple of these already, always nice to have the choice to get free vs pay ones, you put so many of them! Youpi! Have a wonderful day;-)
De rien! J’adore les patrons gratuit! Sharing them is even better. ;)
Thanks for sharing
Thks for the pdf sources. Now all I need is some ambition. Hopefully March madness will be more ambitious than February funk was.
Thank you 😊
I Love the patterns from moods Sewciety
Yes! Me too.
thank you ❤
Hi Lisa I wanted to add to your list the Copen shift dress by Anika at made to sew. She also has a tutorial on her RUclips channel. Beautifully done especially for beginners like me, and she is a gorgeous talented woman 👍
Yes! I know that pattern- it’s a cute one.
Fab thank you! I’m a new sub
Welcome!
I loved your channel. Short but to the point with lots of good info. Please go vertical when you show your makes. Most bloggers stick their face and chest into the camera. Not a good look. Thank you and I subscribed and can’t wait to go investigate your freebies!
Thanks for the shout out 😘, these are some great extra goodies. A couple of these people mentioned in the comments on my video, but I'm also going to link your video in my video as well, love free99🤣.
Thank you! I’d appreciate that!
Not too sure on the 'free' aspect, I've 'had' to buy one of the gorgeous underwear kits from Madalynne!!
Thank you though, it's nice to see links to free sites that are not the generic basic patterns that you normally get.
Ha ha! Sorry about that! 😘
Fantastic, thanks Lisa! Definately checking out these links. My Cosi cardi challenge was a peppermint mag pattern, great instructions. Knitted a couple of things from purl Soho with more planned and have those shorts to make up at some point too 👍❤️
I fell right down that rabbit hole ! before you had got halfway through I was on the Made by Oranges site and they had a top for free that was exactly like a pattern I had been looking at earlier in the morning so bingo, got that one :) Have you visited Patterns for Pirates or Made for Mermaids and also Halla patterns ? if you join their respective FB pages they have codes so you get a lot of patterns for free and they all have children's patterns. Enjoy your snow day x
I have heard of the first two, but not the last. I’ll take a look, thanks!
Thank you for all the information. Did you say once that Blackbird fabrics have a shop in Toronto? I am in UK but my niece has some family members in Toronto and I have spoken to them about it. They are not sewists but will go and look if I give them the address. Love your channel.
Thanks, Yvonne! No, Blackbird is only on line, I’m afraid.
I am working on a free Burdastyle biker jacket sew along, there is 2 different styles with reg. sizing/plus sizing!
Amazing!! Can you post the link?

I just discovered your channel and would follow you on Instagram but I can't find you on Instagram. So nice to find a sewer who's Canadian.
Oh, thank you! It’s @lisakisch 😊
Thank you for so much for sharing i am new to u tube so if you could drop me the link of how to get to those site i will be very grateful thank you in advance i live in Canada
If you click the little arrow to look in the description box below the video, all of the links are there.:)
Utuber: Oh, mother mine Diy has over 100 free patterns and tutorial how to saw. Pattern is on description box of that video. Scroll through her channel. I don't mind that's not in English because patterns are easy. BTW thanks for awesome video, always welcome informations.
Great source! I’ll have a look. Thanks!
L. L. Can you share a link?

Also check out freesewing.org - an 'opensource' sewing pattern website. Has some great patterns for men on there.
Thank you for doing this :)
Just a heads up that the fit on the Madalynne bralettes is terrible if you're over an A cup - she has no idea how to draft for larger sizes, and I've seen many sad posts of folks with B cup+ breasts having an awful time with her patterns.
Great video though, and thanks for the other resources!
The Elsa Sweater had a mistake when it was printed, makes to check the PDF if you get it!
The Serial Hobbyist Girl good to know- thanks for the heads up!
I've been to Mood a couple of times when I lived in NYC. It is so overrated. There is little to no selection in jersey or cotton (esp. patterns) and it's sooo messy. You can never find help to grab huge bolts or to get them cut. I will never understand why this place is coveted other than the TV show. There blog looks great though and it’s nice that they have patterns. The best part of the store is the cute dog that greets everyone but that is it! I highly suggest M&J Trimmings and B&J Fabrics in the garment district. The former had a great website too!
Fascinating! It certainly does look chaotic on tv!!
Hi thank you so much for all this info. I love 😍 the Elsa top, but I’ve just come off the website and it’s not free. 🤨😩 It’s €3.95,. 🤔
BeaunaturelleFeb11 oh, that’s too bad! This video is two years old, so some of the sources have changed. If you look in my channel, I have a playlist with more free pattern videos that are much more recent.
And Sew On thank you so much my darling. I will do. 👍🏾
I went to Madeline and the page did not exist at this time. Weird.
lorna saner try this: madalynne.com/product/barrett-bralette-sewing-pattern/
Lisa, have a look at www.ohmothermine.es !!! Y puedes seguir practicando tu español!! 😘
Si!!! Es un sitio (y un canal) fenomenal! Encontré ella cuando buscando sitios de costura espanol hablantes- tu canal tambien! ;) Esperando tu proximo video! 😘
And Sew On Necesito tiempoooo!!! Jajjaja 😘😘😘
T
Alot of these free patterns are german, aust, ect ect.. have to do your homework on sizing and alot of the time instructions are not in engish
