Today was the first day I missed reading your quote. Surprisingly I learned the same thing today about setting spiritual goals. Start small, surround yourself with like-minded people who will motivate you, don’t wait for perfect circumstances, create opportunities, don’t be discouraged by setbacks because those are learning lessons, and pray about what you want to accomplish.
I love what you said. "Follow your heart, but take your brain with you." That was a word. I needed to hear that. And I needed to hear that motivation. I'm trying to start my own business and it's a little scary.
You have such a healthy and encouraging attitude to life it is refreshing and inspiring. You will succeed because you seem to understand the formula! Your talent with hair is beautiful to watch. I got laid off this summer and I am trying to stay positive as I look for my next opportunity as I look at 50 coming around the corner. I feel I still have something to contribute but it seems that is working against me but I am going to keep on keeping on.
Don’t give up! I was laid off at the age of 56 and my age was hindrance for a time, but God! He opened a door for me at a major corporation. I had the background and the skills they were looking for and wanted to hire me on the spot. I started working there within 3 weeks. Great is His Faithfulness!

Just got a trim the other day. There’s something so therapeutic about getting a haircut and watching you cut/style hair. I don’t like a lot of ASMR, but I like the sound of scissors or knives chopping food 😅
I just noticed your tattoo (1 Corinthians 16:14). So true. You talking about setting goals, going after your dreams was a part of our Sunday service this morning. And when you have a setback, it doesn’t mean you’ve failed. Get back up and try again. I’m not good at motivating myself, but I have to constantly rely on God to get to where I need to be.

Fyi you should do an asmr with the scissors, the hot comb in the hair and hearing the flat iron closing.
