😂 tip this easy 45 can sure fool anyone..today I'm going to do some corners and I just had to refresh to ensure I do it right the first time and get out with a 😁 smile
Baie Dankie, I thought you sounded very South African! Im not a professional but i do sometimes tile a whole room wall to wall at home and then when it comes to the cornice I always forget how to mitre it. This video was a great reminder as i was placing it on the side closest to me in the mitre box when it should have been the opposite side.
Thank you for your comment! Yes, you can just paint these without priming - use an acrylic water based paint. If you want to use a solvent based paint, cover first with a PVA paint.
@DIY Maker thanks for the reply. Although I completed the job before your reply. What I done was cut a small section of the detailed coving and held it level on the return and scribed it. Worked a treat
I was looking for a good video with a good explanation for about 3 months until I found out this one. Thanks for your help. Be blessed.

@@diymaker7819 thank you so much
Baie dankie. Ekt myself confuse met watter kant moet “retract” en watter een moet “protrude”, so my hoeke was altyd verkeerde kant om 🤦🏽♂️😓😅
Bly ons kon help! 😀
The existing cut ( first in the video ) do you follow the same process for a detailed coving?
Yes, the same process. However, make sure that the detail on your coving lines up on your joints.
@DIY Maker thanks for the reply. Although I completed the job before your reply. What I done was cut a small section of the detailed coving and held it level on the return and scribed it. Worked a treat
After a year. Can you please share if it's staying atrong❤
All sitting strong, no issues!
I'm surprised you have any fingers left.
Bro, if you're used to cutting biltong that way, then polystyrene is a piece of cake
You measured 60mm on both surfaces. I guess this is for a 60mm x 60mm cornice?
Yes correct
Good video, but please note that this is polystyrene cornice, not PVC.
I tried to cut a corner, but accidentally cut into my big toe 😮
Hou duimvas...
