Checkrides on this side are mostly over the water. It would be considerate to open the door and let the examiner jump into the ocean if they're uncomfortably hot and sweaty from being nervous.
Bryan, do wake up in the morning fall out of bed and scratch your watch and wind your ass or what??!!!! Thanks again for all the humor!!!! Love your channel!!!!
Those check rides, i flew over a few months ago to CLL for my bfr and heck, I think that’ll boy thought he was giving me a check ride! Btw @6:10 that’s a pretty good advertisement for the durability of the best tug🤣.
😂😂😂😂😂. All joking aside, the money thing is for real and on point. This coming from a guy who failed his initial instrument AND multi engine verbal check rides😂😂😂😂😂. Humble enough to admit both, but very good learning experiences.
It looks funny to see all the Benjamin's but that's exactly how my niece passed her Driver's License test. She ran over every traffic cone when backing and parallel parking. Her Dad was watching and when the examiner exited the car, he had a folded a $50 bill in his hand and he shook the hand of the examiner and said: "I am so grateful my daughter passed her driving test". That was 30 years ago, she's only totaled out 2 cars since then. 😜
OMG !! Loved this one ! on the glideslope all the way to the tie down hahahah Priceless !! Great job and thanks for sharing with us all these helpful tips. BTW big time congrats on the rides !!
Brilliantly hilarious as always!! Great to see ya Capt on the silver screen at the Music City “Nashville” STOL yesterday It’s Turns about a spot! The dirty spot on the window that lines up with the wing tip.😇 Wait til you go for your ATP in Strong crosswinds it’s 8s about centerlines!! 🤣🤣🤣 I take 3 check rides a year, boy that’s a lot of “Tips” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
These techniques definitely work with airworthiness folks too. Just add another kilobuck or three to the annual bill. Your airplane will definitely pass!
I had forgotten about the Deflector 3000 Extreme. On a different note, I saw an old friend at the Labor Day Parade, he says guess who got to take a 709 ride last week. I asked what did your DPE do? Turns out the DPE for his Multi had been taking bribes, for real. FAA called for 709 rides for more than 900 pilots. This guy has his ATP but had to take the multi over of course at his expense.
I'm thinking most of these tips would work well in any type of check ride situation. These should not be limited to the simple confines ot the aviation world.
BEWARE The FOI was the hardest written test from me... it is the only written I ever failed (miserably). The only way I could pass was rote learning ( Sheppard Air) score a 98 btw you are at the top of your game, now is the time get your BGI and AGI and IGI easy peasy
The FOI was my highest knowledge test score yet lol. Memorizing all the content for the oral though? Lord I’ve done a lot of tests in my time. That was possibly the hardest material to memorize. It’s a bunch of wordy, redundant, buzz-word, garbage. I’ve taught as an instructor (professionally) in other vocations for years. Trying to understand the FAA’s version of learning was straight up awful.
I should be able to just mail in my check ride fee to conserve energy and exhaust that contributes to global warming and stuff. Do you have that address?
This week I saw a guy with a tow bar in front of the plane. I knocked at my Cessna window (don't worry, it is still in place, somehow) and pointed at the tow bar. I guess that wasn't you. But if it was you, I would have gotten out and grabbed my copy of 5flight myself!!!
ROTFL! I see how Bryan has made it this far in aviation! I seem to recall a video where the same trick worked on a certain female CFII... ruclips.net/video/U-4YT6IqJkY/видео.htmlsi=Do6Ev5l6Nr7Y0P50&t=656 . (notice: this video has already been archived in case the channel gets hacked and the video gets deleted :-> ) I now feel I am ready for my IFR, Commercial, Multi. CFI, ATP MEGA RIDE.. I should pass no problem!
You bribed him with about 10x what that check ride should actually cost. Wouldn't it be easier just to retake it if you fail? But yeah I guess if you don't want to calculate CG and memorize AROW and read through the FAR and get correct radio phrasology then sure it looks like $2 grand would do it. I hope that works. Those DPEs are getting hard to bribe though. With effort like that though I hope you pass. After watching further it gets even better. How to pass turns around a point? Pick a group of trees "I was turning around that one. No that one. No that one. No that one." How to keep the gyroscopic instrument centered? Show him your mastery of memorizing the circuits as read in the POH! Once it is correctly pulled the gyroscopic instrument will remain centered on the instrument reading. He wants you to do few stalls? Correct landing with engine off? Explain your very well disciplined aeronautical decision-making abilities and tell him you check the density altitude of the day high humidity high temperature high altitude how you think it's a bad day to practice all that. Why is there a tow attached to the landing gear? An answer for that as well. "I am PIC here. When I am PIC don't correct me. It says in the FAR PIC means pilot in command. Want to make things even easier in the day and age when working remote is by far the most economical aspect of flying? you show him your solo ability and he follows you on FlightAware from the ground. Perfect! This is 100% how you prepare.
Excellent advice ...I have a commercial checkride scheduled in a couple weeks ...I am going to use your guaranteed methods, I am no longer nervous.
While all of this is gold, I just want to point out the awesome subtlety of 5:15
OMG this was good timing. I sent this to a friend who is prepping to take his CFI checkride. He's gunna pass for sure now.
6:12 😂😂😂 @markpatey
Top tier internetting 👌🏼
"As you can see, I got a 100 on that test" - Bryan (with a y), I think there were multiple 100s on that test
I am super smart!
"...I was on the localizer and the glideslope all the way to the tie downs..."
Dammit BrYan... I just shot coffee out of my nose.😅😂
This was an expensive video to make. 😂
I think Bryan has a money press hidden somewhere you just don’t know about.. 😂
I used real money to buy fake money off the internet. It actually looks real it's just slightly smaller.
That’s what I call 4 steps ahead of awesome!!!!!
Checkrides on this side are mostly over the water. It would be considerate to open the door and let the examiner jump into the ocean if they're uncomfortably hot and sweaty from being nervous.
Everyone must pass the turns around a point then!
You are always good for a laugh. Congratulations on your commercial and multi. Keep up the great work. Safe skies my friend 🇺🇸🛩️
Watching again and taking notes. That IFR tip is genius!
The eyes at 6:34 were perfect!
Bryan, do wake up in the morning fall out of bed and scratch your watch and wind your ass or what??!!!! Thanks again for all the humor!!!! Love your channel!!!!
6:25 I once had a dream that Josh Flowers was giving me an instrument lesson and we flew the ILS while inverted
Those check rides, i flew over a few months ago to CLL for my bfr and heck, I think that’ll boy thought he was giving me a check ride!
Btw @6:10 that’s a pretty good advertisement for the durability of the best tug🤣.
its 5:45 AM, I'm "studying" for the CRJ200 and melting my brain.....I needed this level of humor! Bravo!
I love everything you do, BrYan- at least what’s visible on the Internet.
6:24 - didn't know the Comanche had the range to hit Australia... Impressive!
Bryan, please stop making me laugh hysterically while I'm eating. One of these days I'm going to choke!
I have a feeling that the only thing a CFI certificate will do is get you called into the FSDO more often.
You are definitely airline pilot material!
Sound, safe and astute advice, as always from Bryan
OMG LOL Best Tugs!
Glad to see this channel is becoming extra extra extra300 serious
Everyone knows that PIC stands for " Paid In Cash" 👍💰💰💰 😂
I almost stop the video when you said is going to be a serious video. 😂
Perfect!!! 😂😂😂
SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY! We got monster truck pulls, the NFL, and best of all a JPS video! 🙌👊
😂😂😂😂😂. All joking aside, the money thing is for real and on point. This coming from a guy who failed his initial instrument AND multi engine verbal check rides😂😂😂😂😂. Humble enough to admit both, but very good learning experiences.
Great tips Bryan, I’m going to use this on my commercial check ride!
Update: I lost my certificate and am going to jail.
And if anything just give the the DPE a number to call lol , great video!
Top Tips! I'll definitely use tip 4 on my instrument checkride!
Just the tip?
Great advice as I'm coming up on my CFI Initial checkride in a few weeks. Will have to give a couple of the tips a try🤣😂

"On the Loc and GS all thew way to the tie downs" LOL
Bro… this is too funny. I’m glad you have a sense of humor to this. Definitely going to be slipping him some hundreds. 😅 I needed this.
😂😂😂😂 Subscribed within the first two minutes 😂. Lol Ok now let me press play .
Brilliantly hilarious as always!!

🤣🤣🤣🤣
Please bring the camera when they summon you to the FSDO again 😂
"Just feel around under the dash for some wires and yank them" ROFL
I like the idea of using flight aware. Be really cool. Ha HA. So funny
Thank you for keeping the humor in flying!!!
At the of a bad day at work, this made me laugh out loud. Thanks Bryan.😂
At the hanger we were just joking about taping $100 bills to your chest for the next medical.
Wished I knew this years ago!!!
gained 2000 in a power-off stall. spit coffee
Dude you always turn my day around 😂😂😂😂😂
Throwing all that cash around, you’ll soon need a IRS investigation punch card!😂
Classic BrYan!! 👍👍
Great stuff!
Thanks, I passed with flying colors. (Mostly green)
Great advice Bryan! 😂 Thanks for the laugh!

So, now that you have your commercial and multi-engine when are you switching from $100s to $1s? Sorry, that was probably a little below the belt.
4:24 I think I hurt myself laughing. I need an ambulance, LOL!!!!
I'm thinking most of these tips would work well in any type of check ride situation. These should not be limited to the simple confines ot the aviation world.
Don't forget donuts!
I’ll subscribe I pissed my pants watching this funny shit. Just scheduled ppl checkride

When you find things going south... turn north.
coffee before the checkride? gona sh!t myself
Excellent advice!! Woo-hoo!
I should be able to just mail in my check ride fee to conserve energy and exhaust that contributes to global warming and stuff. Do you have that address?
I’m just surprised you had that much cash left after two checkrides (and some twin time)
I’m close to my instrument check ride and I can’t stand VOR’s lol
They feel so antiquated.
Good luck on the ride!!!
This is hilarious!!
The tree🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This guy is awesome 👌🏽 lmao
Very FUNNY!
Check ride, huh? You mean they still take checks?
Omg im crying 😭😂
Just write "pass" perfect test ! 👌
Made my day!! 👍😂
A satyr.
With a "Y"
World's most expensive checkride! 🤣
I added up the first 2 minutes, I can’t afford a check ride :-)

Money isn't everything but it sure makes life a helluva lot easier....
I can't tell if it as joke or not.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 he said off the tip of the wing
😂😂😂 I’m dying…
Did people find this actually informative or just entertaining?
Hilarious!
Bryan got all that money from his wife's purse

So.... if you're a legit instructor, can I have your old FSDO frequent violator punch card? I'm not a pro yet.
😂😂😂 ROFLMAO! 🤣🤣🤣
👍✅🤣
I have deduced that Bryan is imaginary...
LOL
😂😂😂
LMAO!
Congratulations Bryan on your successful practical exam, You got that correct they were Cash Rides! 😁🛫
