Our journey

Since 1999, when Nelson Mandela established the Nelson Mandela Foundation, we have continued his work, in South Africa and across the world. We promote peace, reconciliation and social justice for all, worldwide. We preserve and curate his archives, promote critical dialogue, support early childhood development, and prepare space so that younger generations can take up the mighty battle for harmony between people and between people and planet.
