Nice little demo there. The only thing I would do different is to add a ramp to the profile. A decent ramp cuts the wear on end mills down, so they last longer. Its also easier on the spindle too. My home brew CNC has a cutting area of 18 by 25 by 6. The controller program is Mach 3-- FAR friendlier than what comes with a shop bot . I use an old version of inventor (3d solid modeling program) where i need to make several parts that fit together in an assembly. Auto desk fusion works almost the same. For the basic 2.5 stuff I still use inventer but just save it as a dwg file. That is native to autocad. V-carve will import dwg files so that just makes it a bit simpler. For artwork type of stuff I clean up the artwork, if needed, with a program simulator to photoshop and convert them to gray scale or B and W . Tool pathing is done with V-carve. The hardware/software is different but the basic process is the same on any CNC..

Why wait several minutes to get your spindle up to speed? not really going to hurt anything to ramp up to 200 right out of the gate.

why oh why do people see the need to inject annoying music into their videos. I'll never understand this.
